Electrical reviews in Columbus, Ohio

I want to give Care Electric more stars than this but I just can't. Future customers need to know where this company falls short.

Starting with the good. Care Electric was very prompt and quick to reply to my inquiry. I needed a 240v wall outlet installed in my garage for my EV and I had some GFI outlets installed previously by an contractor incorrectly and the hot and neutral were reversed. Care handled the GFI outlets very well, and I feel they are a solid choice for residential electric repair.

Where I feel things did not go well is when they attempted to install my EV outlet. Care Electric needs to up their game and their knowledge in this area. They attempted to install an appliance outlet (14-50) for my EV. THIS IS A NO NO, and anyone who is planning or has had a 14-50 outlet installed for their EV needs to understand you CANNOT use an appliance outlet for this application. You have to use an EV rated outlet, preferably a Hubble or Bryant, and in my case a Leviton EV rated outlet, which is very similar to Hubble. I had to stop them from installing an appliance outlet and then run to Home Depot and buy the outlet myself. They then jammed it into the 4 inch box, which it didn't really fit and then they had to make shift the cover onto the outlet by grinding out the edges. For a company who claims to be licensed electricians and the price I paid for a professional install, this felt like a DIY job at best. I was not impressed with the end result.

The company did reply to my post, my repones would be, I did resolve the issue right away, you can clearly see that in my post. My issue is the lack of knowledge and make shift fix the team employed. I had more knowledge of EV wall outlet application than the company I hired to do the job. I'm confused on how me contacting the company at that time would have changed that.

We used Care Electric for our kitchen remodel and for a few other small projects. They are always on time, friendly, knowledgeable, quick.. they know what they are doing and price very well. We have always been beyond satisfied with their services and we will continue to use them for all our electrical needs for as long as they stay in business! They are amazing and we’re happy to have found them. Thanks Care Electric!!

Angelo and Amin came to do the electrical work for a new door project in our home. The guys were great, professional and friendly. Had great chats while they took the time to explain everything they were doing and always asked before any changes from the plan were made. Highly recommend this company if these are the type of people they employ and work the perform. Cheers!

Angelo of the CARE Electric team was able to address our ceiling fan issue and get it installed quickly and correctly. He was also able to explain to us the wiring issue we were facing on a dimmer switch - so we will be replacing it with the correct part. Thanks Angelo!

Walid and his crew and professional and extremely courteous. I will never use another electrician again.

A friend who has a landscaping and outdoor remodeling business recommended Walid from Care Electric. I needed an underground electric line and outlet run from the house to the pool pump which was over 100 feet away. Walid consulted with me several times and offered insight in to how to do it efficiently and cost effectively while complying with the NEC. When it was time to complete the work, we discovered that I was out of breakers in my 150A panel. Walid recommended I upgrade to 200A and had his guys complete that along with the underground wiring run for a reasonable price. His team, Angelo and Amin, were enjoyable to work with, professional, and did a great job. They asked questions and listened to how I wanted things done and completed everything to my satisfaction. Thanks Walid and team for a job well done! I will definitely recommend you for the next job.

I called Care Electric and had the job completed in less than three hours from the moment I first called. Angelo and Amin, were very professional and easy-going and I had very nice personal conversation with both of them. They got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. Thanks Care Electric.

I cannot say enough about the great experience my husband and I had with Care Electric. Care replaced our antique circuit board with one that now meets our requirements at a very reasonable price compared with others. Service was delivered promptly and the workers could not have been more polite, professional, and attentive to our needs and concerns. I recommend Care Electric highly.

Care Electric provided a prompt and professional response to my electrical needs. Angelo and Amin were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right recessed lighting for our kitchen and hallway. They were efficient and skilled in replacing our outdoor floodlights and also upgraded our outdated pillar lights to a modern patio fixture. Their work was clean, timely, and exceeded expectations. I will definitely call Care Electric again for any future electrical projects!

Absolutely great service. Owner came out the same day and fixed an issue with our washing machine tripping the circuit. I will be using them in the future.

After shopping around Walid gave the best price for installing recessed lights in my living room. Highly recommended!

Walid called me on FaceTime and helped me figure out an issue late in the evening. He then refused to bill me. Clearly a company that cares!

I would highly recommend Care Electric, and I will absolutely use them again. They’ve done two projects for me, one smaller and one larger.

They’re prompt, friendly, honest, and take pride in the quality of their work.

We have worked with CARE ELECTRIC on many projects. I highly recommend them. Professional, Prompt, and Courteous.

We recently purchased a property that needed some lighting work done (recessed lighting in kitchen, living room and hallway, adding ceiling fans in bedrooms, etc). Randomly found them googling the area for electricians. Walid and his crew were absolutely top notch.

We couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and outstanding customer service. From the moment I contacted them for a quote, Walid was prompt, courteous, and helpful in getting us a reasonable quote.

Anxhelino and co. were punctual, efficient, and knowledgeable. They asked what we wanted (how high we preferred a pendant light, did we want a remote control holder for fan, etc.). They were respectful of my home, cleaning up after themselves and leaving everything in great condition. Anxhelino was an exceptionally hard worker.

What impressed me the most about Care Electric was their commitment to customer satisfaction. Walid went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with their work, even following up after the job was completed to make sure everything was working properly.

Absolutely found them randomly and totally made the right choice. 5/5 recommend. Added them as a preferred vendor to all of our real estate clients and needs.

Thanks again!

Care electric has helped us on more than one occasion with our electrical needs. Always on time and does a great job! This time they took a very stressful situation, got it done quick and correctly. Highly recommended.

Angelo at Care Electric was our technician. We had a fault in one of our circuits that I couldn't figure out. He quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved it. He even went the extra mile to clean up someone else's shoddy work. He was also very professional and friendly. I will definitely recommend this company to others in the future. Thanks Angelo and Care Electric!

Walid and his team were fantastic. Prompt, explained everything and gave a detailed and fair price. They installed a Tesla mobile charging outlet for us. Will definitely use again

Care Electric installed a new dining room chandelier. They also needed to move the light switch 12 inches to the left to accommodate hanging a picture. Finally, they added a new 4 plug outlet in my loft. Work done beautifully and professionally. Very, very pleased with their work. Highly recommend for any project, big or small.

I contracted Care Electric to handle the electrical work for my restaurant on High Street in downtown Columbus. They completed the hood electrical, HVAC electrical, and installed all outlets. Walid, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in all electrical codes, and the project passed every inspection on the first attempt. From the owner to the entire crew, everyone was professional, reliable, and always on time. The quality of work was excellent, and communication was clear throughout the project. I highly recommend Care Electric for any commercial electrical needs.

Wonderful experience with this team. Not only did they do excellent work with the lowest price (others quoted us almost double), they also provided recommendations that we went with that enhanced our kitchen lighting. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism. Will definitely be using them again as we have more projects in mind!
