The worst construction company ever!! 100% total disregard to small businesses that they are working in front of… if they have a crew of 10, maybe, maybe two people are working. They work at the slowest pace possible. I’m sure they’re getting some kind of government kickback from the city or the state either way… if there could be a negative review, I would give it. The absolute laziness from this company is unprecedented. How they stay in business and who keeps hiring them I don’t know…. once again, I’m sure it is government kick back. Nine months to put in brick pavers on the sidewalk less than an eighth of a mile, both directions…shame

My Daughter was just in a HORRIBLE accident with one of these drivers a couple weeks ago, on her way to school... Just like the other reviews I'm reading! This driver was also tailing her, and slammed into the back of her! I'm not sure what type of Employees this company has driving these trucks!!!??? But they are RECKLESS!!! They are going to really hurt or kill someone! My daughter was very Lucky! God was definitely in that front seat with her on her way to school!

Drivers still reckless and no care for anyone on the road,90 in a 60, cutting people off no signals and almost three accidents in just a few miles... Ran us off the road 😔

Does nothing for the cities residents they are working in, to make sure those residents are safe from their contractors negligence, with cleaning up their messes so they do not damage brand new tires.. Followed all the requirements to submit a claim, waited two weeks for a response, just to not have any support as to why my claim was denied.

I am very disappointed in my interactions with this company and their employee Al Tambini. I got a flat tire and bent rim from a pothole on a section of highway they were working on. They are so far refusing to take liability for this issue and are stating that images of the tire and a state highway patrol report is not sufficient proof of the incident. I am hoping they decide to do the right thing and reimburse me for the damage their negligence caused to my car.

This company has been tearing up hudson ave (my neighborhood) for YEARS. On a (very) busy day there are maybe a dozen guys, half working , the other half are smoking and playing on thier phones. Many weekdays like today i didnt see a soul. Really disruptive to the business and residents

Good luck if you ever have to deal with this company. Prepare to send multiple emails (or make multiple calls) before finally hearing back from them. If you are eventually able to get in contact with them regarding a damage claim, prepare for a denial based on their unverified opinions that they will call facts. Prepare for horrible customer service, no sympathy, no attention to detail, and lies.

You may even get forwarded information that was meant for internal communications only where they openly admit that they intend to ignore communications moving forward.

All of the negative reviews have rang true. I’m unsure how this company continues to operate under these practices. 0/10 highly don’t recommend. Avoid if you’re able to do so.

One of these drivers caused an accident and no call back from company or reimbursement for damage. Not only is access to dyer to 56 blocked at overpass now they have back side road blocked in front of my driveway with 2 concrete trucks and 6 other trucks both side of road barely get a pickup up around thru my property squeezing thru all the vehicles. Costing us 10 min extra drive now blocking farming equipment and no way ambulance or fire truck could get back here in time

Beware using this company. They installed 1 whole side of my fence at a different height than the other two. Their "fix" was to try to pound down the posts of the entire length of the fence, two MONTHS after install, and the posts are concreted in. I was concerned that it would damage the concrete and the fence would not stand up over time and wanted it redone. Went back and forth with Lowes and the company for months. When they finally sent the installer out, he showed up the day after he was supposed to be there, with no warning, and told me he was told by REC that the fence needed pounded down. Even though I had already said I didn't want that done. The installer flat out told me that pounding down the fence would damage it and didn't recommend doing it that way. He wanted to break out the concrete instead, and reset the posts. Mid November the day after it snowed. The company was difficult to work with, and the problem started because they did sub par work. I would rather keep the fence at two different heights and be sure that it's stable than risk damaging my expensive fence.

REC Construction installed our fence last week 3/28/2024, And the guy who did the install was very kind and did a Great job, we had No complaints. Our fence looks very nice. We will have them do more of our projects if we need to have stuff done again. We will recommend them to Everyone who needs to have a job done . The guy got the job done in just 4 hours or so, he did a 120 feet long 6 inch tall vinyl fence , Great work and a wonderful job. Thank You so much.

I bought my first home & needed a fence because I have small dogs. My reps were very responsive when I had questions, very prompt, and in the beginning, they never pressured their business on us. The fence turned out amazing!! They got it done in two days. Thank you, REC!

Starting with James who did a fantastic job scheduling around our travels and explaining the process for install of our fence, Dave, our installer, finished the job in a timely fashion and had the sight cleaned when he left. He did an outstanding job and was polite and professional. Call REC first for your fencing needs, they will not disapoint!

Would not recommend to anyone. They were the company contracted from Lowe’s to install our fence. A part of the fence wasn’t installed correctly and we’re still waiting for someone to come fix it. We’ve been rescheduled 4 times with 2 of them being no shows. This last time I confirmed at two different times that someone would be coming and was told yes, however, no one showed up.

The crew that came and did my fence the guys were very respectful and very professional and cleaned up after themselves and really appreciate the work they did and how quick they got it done.

James and Tristin were so easy to deal with and made this decision to go with REC very easy. Incredible experience and most important for most people….construction professionals were outstanding and the end product-a Trex deck and aluminum fence are top notch.

We also just had REC back again for the installation of a hot tub privacy screen (6ft h X 12ft w). Again and outstanding job.

My fence was ordered through Lowe’s and the install was contracted out. The job was done quickly and professionally. I don’t have anything negative to say about the experience or quality of the work. The site manager Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the 2 gentlemen with him got my fence installed as expected. They even brought my trash cans in from the curb. Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

These guys and gals did a great job. They were timely, professional, and the fence they built for us looks great. We have a complicated backyard with a lot of grades and easements, and they accommodated all that without issues. They even initiated the approvals with our HOA and the village we live in. The price was fair, and we and our pups are looking forward to years with the fence!

Eric is the most detail oriented contractor I’ve ever seen work. If you want something done right, he’s the guy. Cannot say enough about the extra hours put in for him to ensure the work was done right.

We did experience a few delays but that had much more to do with supply chain and some back office issues and does not take away from the incredible deck built for us.

We’ve dealt with a lot of contractors. This was the best experience we’ve ever had by far! Charlie and his crew are true talents! I love my fence, too!!

No idea of the quality of the work because they can’t seem to get the job done. They were supposed to install a fence earlier this week. I was told that they needed me home to walk the property before they started. I was told that they would call me prior to arrival. Neither happened. I discovered that they had come early with no previous phone call and that they were digging holes in my neighbors yard. When I was looking for the survey pins to prove the fact that they were not digging in my yard. (The pins were covered with dirt from their digging. Previously they had been easily visible.) I was told that the plans were incorrect ( no idea if this was true or if they could not measure) and they couldn’t adjust them. I was told “ no idea” when I asked who I needed to contact to get this resolved. The men left without even properly covering the concrete they had opened. After contacting Lowe’s I have attempted to get them rescheduled, but apparently the office staff (who were at least pleasant if not helpful) can’t give me a timeline this week.

Update I still don’t have a fence. They have rescheduled 2 times. Neither of which time did they actually show up. Apparently their tuck is broken. They apparently don’t actually install anything. They subcontract. I found this out when I asked why they only had one truck. That doesn’t run.
