Whoever was driving the black suv with his name on it and a license plate that starts with guh was reckless. At 6 a.m. in snow and sleet conditions, the person tried to force me out of my lane, use their high beams to blind me, and then passed me on the shoulder while conditions on the road were horrible. I’m shocked they didn’t wreck. I did nothing to warrant the ridiculous road rage behavior this person was demonstrating. I would avoid this company based on this experience alone.

second time we have used them for a major remodel . addition of a laundry room and garage extension and the next time was a remodel of the master bath and a closet addition. great quality work and great communication even during the virus issues. would use them again if future projects arise.

Had this company quote a kitchen remodel. Came out to my house and spoke with my wife. Apparently they had done a lot of the work with the previous owner prior to us buying. Needless to say they were arrogant and ended up quoting use $250k to remodel the kitchen not too mention they also told her that we would probably go over that number.... we received 4 more quotes with every other quote being less than a third of Dave Fox.

Re-model of 2nd floor MBR suite in 1950 Cape Cod. Solid planning and preparation before start really helps. Design team awesome. Remodel work went well in COVID restrictions. Very positive experience!

This morning 5/9/2024 at approximately 8:00am on 315 a man in your company truck license plate GBU6154 merged over with no blinker and ran my car with a child and an infant in it, on our way to school into the berm. Then proceeded to drive past at high rate of speed screaming out the window and making obscene gestures. Absolutely disgusting and dangerous behavior especially considering they are in a highly labeled work vehicle

I just cannot let go of this so I decided to write a google review. In 2005 I had Dave Fox do a kitchen remodel and put in a new front door--door install costed more than 7K back then. It came with a "lifetime guarantee". The entire bottom of the door rotted out and was replaced by Renewal by Anderson for 9K. Before I had it replaced several people from Dave Fox came out and told me the issue was "your fault-ie my fault and there would be no remediation on their part. What is so interesting to me--the door faces east-away from prevailing weather and there are most houses on my street with original doors....no rotting. So my advice for guarantees--take it with a big grain of salt. I always tell everyone about my experience and discourage the use of this company.

I read the response-- and that is absolutely not what was said when a supervisor came and looked at the problem. In addition--I fail to see how any screen door can cause rotting at the bottom of the main door-- there is no connection. But....I am at a disadvantage here--and I would recommend getting any promises in writing

I highly recommend Dave Fox! They have worked on multiple renovation projects in my home for the past few years. From project management, overall vision, design, communication, craftsmanship, execution, and attention to detail...top notch quality!!

My husband and I and another couple attended the NARI Home Remodeling tour yesterday together and we toured the Dave Fox home in UA. The gentleman working the front door was super friendly and greeted us before we even got to the door, but I have to say that the representatives downstairs were the rudest people I have ever encountered. First of all, there was only 2 other couples down there when we got to the bottom of the basement steps and not one person even acknowledged us and so we walked closer to the one DF rep who was talking about the wine cellar to the other couple, and this man wouldn't even say hello to us or for that matter, even make eye contact with us, period. He made absolute zero attempt to even include us in his conversation with the other couple about how they built the wine cellar or the materials used, etc. So basically we had to give ourselves the complete tour of the basement. In the entire time we were walking around, down there, right past this male rep several times as well as past both female reps, not a single hello or peep out of any of them. In fact, the only time one of the gals spoke to us is when we opened a door to see if there was an actual bathroom downstairs and she yelled at us for doing so. The reps were the rudest people I have dealt with in some time and for that fact alone, I would NEVER do business with this company.

Not sure how many stars to give but wanted to share my experience. I am looking to have my basement finished, its currently partially finished and in decent enough shape to have as a playroom (painted block walls and inexpensive carpet) so I played phone tag for several days with this company. Yesterday I spoke with a "designer' on the phone and he asked me quite a few questions regarding the basement and I'd already had one quote from a different company that actually came out an looked at the space so I was able to answer the questions pretty well regarding square footage, electrical, ceiling and what not.
After several minutes the gentlemen asked me what my husbands name was and asked if my husband and I had discussed a budget and what we wanted to spend. Firstly I cannot help but wonder if a male had called if this same question would have been asked, highly doubt it.
I told him we had discussed it and at this point we are trying to get a better idea and then he said they had recently done a space this size and it was about 30 - 40K, note this is 300 sq. feet we were discussing of a basement that is currently useable. I told him we would call him back since this was over 4x the cost of the other quote I got and this gentlemen seemed to have no interest in coming to see the space unless we were planning to spend that type of cash. I was just a bit surprised but now I know why it seems like you only see the Dave Fox signs in front the larger old worthington home with the $$$.

Awesome !! Best remodeling company in the city !! You get what you pay for - the best. Very professional, highly skilled craftsman. In house painter made our project shine like new. Will recommend.

What is nice about doing business with Courtney and Dave Fox is you can always count on a professional and straight forward experience. The consultations, presentations and environment that I have been a part of at Dave Fox have always been great.

We had a stellar experience with our Dave Fox remodel. The design services gave us more than we could have possibly imagined on our own. Our "new" 1964 ranch is now our dream home.

We invited these guys to put a bid on our basement and half bath remodel. Unfortunately the job just wasn't for them at the time (our budget + what needed to be done correctly didn't mash). However, the professionalism of the sales rep who came out was outstanding. Knowing that we were frustrated from being denied multiple times from contractors, they helped me find cost effective solutions to complete my project. Thank you guys! You took a huge headache away!

We have completed remodels of several homes, and have used a design-build firm 3 time in the past. Our experience with Dave Fox Design Build Remodelers was first rate and the best experience we've had. They did their due diligence and up front work which helped to eliminate surprises (1880's home with 2001 gut remodel). They were responsive and extremely helpful when issues did pop up. The design is creative. The onsite leadership responsive. The work quality itself is great. True attention to detail and true craftmanship. From the design team to the trades to the installers everyone was engaged, professional and cared about the end result. Their efforts were rewarded with a NARI award for best whole house remodel (2019). No remodel is easy. No remodel process goes like clockwork. But this team helps work thru the issues - not cover them up. They do what they say they will do; and more. Most importantly, they keep you informed. If you're hesitant about the disruption to your life a remodel will cause, you should be. But I can tell you this team will get you through it with amazing work and a truly one of a kind customer experience.

To me... Dave Fox is just the best of the best. It takes about 30-seconds in their showroom and you can just see and feel that these guys ooze legit level quality. Every team member I met is someone you'd feel totally great having in your home. You can have logical conversations with them. And know it's a "we're going to do this right no matter what" type relationship. They're just the best.
