When we first moved into our home about five years ago, one of the first things we needed was gutter cleaning on a two story house and I didn’t have a ladder tall enough to handle it. I searched around, read the reviews for Rannebarger Home Maintenance, and reached out for a quote. Within about an hour I had a detailed estimate via text and email. That level of responsiveness made the decision easy.

Alex and the crew showed up on time and had the gutters completely cleaned out in under 30 minutes. It was professional, efficient, and fairly priced, so we’ve used them every year since.

A couple years later our sump pump burned up and they were absolute heroes. Daniel, the Owner, came out quickly and replaced it with a high performance Zoeller sump pump, and it has been running flawlessly for over two years now.

Most recently, a mix of snow, plows, time, and even termites destroyed the base of our wooden mailbox post and it was leaning forward ready to fall. We needed a fast fix. They came out promptly, installed a brand new mailbox, and our mail didn’t miss a beat.

What really sets them apart is that they are always professional, responsive, and honest about pricing. Even when we had an HVAC issue that they don’t service, they took the time to recommend a company they trust. We ended up hiring that company for a full system replacement and had a great experience, which says a lot about the quality of their referrals.

It’s rare to find a local home service company that consistently shows up, communicates well, does quality work, and treats you fairly year after year. Rannebarger Home Maintenance has been that partner for us across multiple projects, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Rannebarger did an excellent job with power washing and soft washing our home exterior, porch, brick patio, and walkways. They actually responded to the online quote request I submitted unlike several other companies I've reached out to over the last year or so, AND they responded quickly. Coordinating over text was easy. They came out to make an estimate almost immediately and we were scheduled for the next day. Who knew our sidewalk was this color? We will definitely hire them again.

Daniel and his team were very efficient and worked in my project in the perfect time. They were so easy to work with! I would recommend them forsure for any lighting needs. They are very skilled.

The team was very prompt, good communication and explaining exactly what the issue was with the sewer line. Very reasonable prices and a piece of mind setting up the annual maintenance. Would 100% recommend.

Super fast both in their response to my initial call and then coming out to clean the gutters and piles of leaves and pine needles that gathered on the roof. Heath came over and banged it out with no problems and it looks great. Will be having them back on a regular basis.

The team did a wonderful job cleaning my house and gutters. Later I found I had gutter return clogged with a root ball. Daniel came out late on a Friday night and cleared that stopping a potential basement flood. Great customer service, totally recommend these guys!

They started and completed jobs for me at 2 different locations in the same day!

First, I'll say that we've used Rannebarger for a number of years and had always been satisfied up until this point. Our most recent service was for gutter cleaning. In the past they were typically able to get someone out pretty timely but it took a while this time. Not a big deal, I get that staffing shortages happen. Then, when someone did arrive it was a person who'd indicated they weren't a regular employee but rather someone who just helps out from time to time. Ok, fine.

On our previous gutter cleaning services we'd always thought the company did a great job. They were thorough in removing and disposing gutter debris. This time though most of what was in the gutter landed in our bushes, shrubs, flower beds, etc. so we had to go around the house to clean up their mess afterwards.

Ok, so maybe someone who wasn't an employee perhaps wasn't trained sufficiently for the task. To an extent I can even understand/excuse that. What I can't understand is that after the service rather than coming here to post a negative review I first contacted the company to let them know what had occurred and our disappointment. Never received a reply to my email, a text, a phone call. So, I contacted them a second time. Still, not a word.

Bottom line, yes I was frustrated with the quality of the service. But, I do understand that staffing shortages and training issues can happen. What I don't understand is a company that doesn't convey the slightest concern or common courtesy of responding to a longtime customer who had a service concern. That to me is unacceptable (even moreso considering we were billed 30% more than our previous services).

We have used this team to open the building I work in. Excellent work and responsiveness. Everything we needed they were able to do. Building stations, plumbing, hanging equipment, they do it all. They have been great to work with and will continue to use them.

Rannebarger Home Improvement came the same day we called and they did an awesome job cleaning our gutters.

Did what another plumber couldn’t ! We had someone else out who cut the pipe and sealed it all back up with that grease in there without fixing the clog or attempting to trouble shoot the real issue. Thanks to Daniel for getting us all squared away! Happy to have my kitchen sink back and he was able to come out the same day I called.

Kyle and his crew did fantastic job of gutter cleaning, gutter guard installation and a last minute downspout repair. Kyle was very impressive in selling this job, and they surpassed my expectations. Very reasonably priced I will definitely use Rannebarger for future home repairs.

I am a Facilites Manager responsible for over 106,000 SF of buildings and 22 acres of property. January’23 we had a sewage lift station system fail. Dan and his crew were on the job site within a couple hours dismantling the system. Same day they found a sewage pump and control system, installed it with new piping and had us operational with the area cleaned up. Dan was knowledgeable, conscientious, dependable, and very responsive to our needs. That was the first of over a dozen major and minor projects we have trusted Dan with over the last 18 months.
Larger projects included installation of a playground from excavation, drainage, equipment and surface. Soccer field was leveled, graded and seeded for improved drainage. Over 400’ of building foundation was excavated, sealed, French drains installed, finish graded and seeded. Fifteen feet of retaining wall was built to eliminate a steep slope. Seven toilets in one of our restrooms had seals failing and shutoffs not working - all fixtures removed, collars and seals replaced and shutoffs repaired in a single afternoon.
This summer we have plans to utilize Dan to remove overgrown landscaping, improve drainage and seed several more areas. He is our go-to guy for additional upcoming plumbing projects.
