From the beginning of the fence process the experience we had with the office staff was very positive, made us feel very comfortable. Allan and Johnny, the brothers that came to do the install, were awesome and did such a great job with the privacy fence they completed for us. They were on time and professional and we appreciated that so much. Chloe, our black lab even hopped in their trailer and was wanting to go home with them. 😁 Our seven dogs absolutely love their new fence and we love that we know they are safe when they are outside! We will recommend in the future if given the opportunity.

Mike with Rec Construction through Lowe's, did an outstanding job on our fence installation! Left no trash cleaned everything when the job was completed. We were impressed with a level fence going down hill! Thank you Mike for a wonderful job!

I am editing my review in lieu of a phone call from the Contractor.
They were apologetic and asked for more detail about our experience. They asked several times if there was something they could do to make things better. They also said they would use our feedback for training purposes because they agreed this is not the way they want their customers treated. I truly appreciate the sincerity of the call. I also know they can't go back in time and change our experience. It was what it was, but the call does help us feel better about the experience. I increased the rating to 3 stars and I have added photos of the fence itself that I neglected to add. We are happy with the final product.

I recently had Lowe's install a new fence at my home and the review of it is very complicated. Sadly.
Lowe's gave the installation part of the job to another company, RE Connors LTD. We are not fans. The installers they sent spoke very little English, based on the difficulty we had with communication. They rarely let us know when they were going to be coming, and often didn't come when they said they would. Things change, but you should let the customer know. Many days we adjusted schedules to be home and no one showed up. We were not given a contact number from Lowe's. We had to look it up. The Supervisor of the crew came on the 1st day but didn't bother to introduce herself to us. Beyond courtesy, this would have helped with communication.
To their credit, we had a couple of pieces of the job, where the fence was uneven, that we were not happy with and they corrected it.
But when it was all done, they just left. There was no statement of the job being finished. And there was a LOT of trash all over our yard. They tore pavers out of our patio to install posts and simply left them strewn about the place. They left a pallet with about 300 lbs of leftover pea gravel blocking our garage. I was sure they would come back, but they never did so I had to move it and clean up a huge mess. I understood that, given the weather, re-laying the pavers would not have been easy or even possible. But they should have at least said that to us and stacked them neatly somewhere.
We were told they would walk around the project with us and make sure we were satisfied when they finished. Instead I had a message left on my voicemail from a Rep, saying he wanted to know if we were happy. I am including photos of the mess they left.
You might notice that I have said very little about the fence itself! It IS wonderful! We are very happy with the final product. The journey to get here though was so stressful. I just have a very difficult time referring anyone to Lowe's for a project like this because I wouldn't want them to have this experience. Nor would I recommend this company. Customers are in a very vulnerable place. We paid Lowe’s upfront for the entire project, and it was a LOT of money. Not being communicated with made this extremely stressful. And then, to have the mess that was left behind with no statement about whether they would be back to clean up just left the worst taste in the mouth. It’s too bad, because I would like to feel better about the beautiful fence in my yard. Instead I simply am glad it’s over. It’s complicated.

Dustin and the DM team were professional, quick, and clean up after our fence installation was thorough. Hard working, and professionally suggested a few different things to ensure the fence looks great. The office at RE Connors was quick to return all calls and handled everything logistically very well. Everyone was very responsive to messaging and calls, and was on time. Couldn't be happier with our new fence!

Recently got REC finished the fence at my backyard. Beautiful finish with quality work. The manager, James and crew lead Charles are truly top notch and they did everything correctly in the contract. The quote was reasonable. It was about 1.5month wait time for my project and they finished it in One and half days.

REC Construction is a top notch company! Look no further when needing to pursue your backyard deck project. The entire process was handled professionally with seasoned, expert staff that would not settle until they created the exact deck we envisioned. They stuck to the total duration communicated during the start of the project and maintained contact with us throughout to ensure our needs were continually met. Perfect! Was contracted through Lowe’s and the fence was perfect. They arrived on time and it was finished within 5 hours. The double gate was wonderful and they even replaced the gate parts for something more sturdy before my scheduled appointment. My dogs are super happy! They were courteous. Did a walkthrough before, midway, and after while building our fence. The property is not completely level, but the top of the fence is PERFECT.

This review is for RE Connors Construction and Jim Ross Construction, the subcontractor who performed the fence install. The install was exceptional and the attention to detail was totally outstanding. Meticulous was the work, ensuring each post was installed below the frost line and each panel measured and leveled perfectly. The gates are totally level and swing out nicely and are easy to use. The results are wonderful and I highly recommend these folks to anyone wanting to install a fence.

Best choice I made was going thru Lowe’s. I was skeptical at first. Especially seeing some of the reviews. Not sure how anyone had any issues with this company. They contacted me before Lowe’s did to make sure the dates of materials were going to be delivered on time. On install date they called me and went over everything again. After install they called and made sure everything came out good and if any issues were there. They truly went above and beyond. Not to mention they were half the price of every other quote around. 100% would suggest going with them.

They were very personable which made me very comfortable. The fence looks amazing we absolutely love it. They had some scheduling issues in beginning out of anyones control but they stayed until 11pm to finish my fence and I thanked them with home baked cookies my kids and I made. I have peace of mind knowing the fence is up and sturdy and knowing my dogs and kids are safe in their backyard. Thank you to my contractors personally from the Decker family

Jose and his crew were amazing! They installed a 400ft privacy fence in about 6hrs! They even dug the posts holes by hand and still got that much fencing put up in 6hrs! Jose was very professional, made sure the plans were correct and answered any and all questions we had. Our fence looks fabulous and I absolutely love it! Thank you for a job well done Jose and crew!

REC Construction installed a fence for my home. The salesperson was knowledgable and gave me different options. They took care of everything as far as having lines marked and clearing zoning issues. They kept me informed with how the project was coming. The actual install only took 2 days. Jeff, the manager, was wonderful to work with. The fence is lovely with very high quality materials. I'm so very happy with the final product!

REC Construction :These guys were amazing. Not only did a great fast job, but their cleanup was top shelf too. Needless to say I will be calling these folks for my next project. I wish I could give them a seven out of five rating. That is how good they were.

From start to finish on my fence installation REC was very helpful and communicative. They listened to my issues and requests and handled the permitting with the city which was ling and ardous. Whatever I needed they were there to help. I love my fence, the guys who came Dave and Mike were respectful and got the job dine despite the ever changing Ohio weather. I would recommend them!

James (sales) & Dave (install) have been great from the outset to work with! I wanted a less traditional design and James was patient & collaborative throughout always incredibly nice and helpful! Dave on install also such a nice and great person and truly wants to do a good job.

I had my fence installed in the spring and coming back now to express how they have continued to be great to work with. Our driveway gate had a manufacturer issue & we had damage from a deer that 6 months after install both James & Dave were prompt to help get both resolved!

We just moved and needed a fence and seen the work REC has done so far in our neighborhood. From start to finish service was excellent! James helped give us all the information to make sure we picked the best fence for all of our needs. Danielle was so friendly and was able to get us scheduled very quickly. They handled everything for us. And we were kept up to date the entire time. It snowed the day before install but Jeff and his crew were able to stay on track and complete the fence with no delays. The guys were very nice and respectful and made sure they cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use REC in the future!

Fantastic professional team and wonderful custom work

Compton should be your first choice. I've had the pleasure of working with them on multiple jobs. Honest and reliable, and all about the community. Most companies post their best and leave out the bad well in my opinion there is no bad with Blake Compton, (Compton Construction). When you get lucky enough to work with a company that put everything into a job to make sure it's completed with as close to perfection as possible, well just look at the office, the design and quality show just how much they put into their work. Hope business is good Blake, hopefully I'll be able to do the thing that makes everybody else's look good again soon (Painting) cause u know I'm the best lol. And if I don't get the pleasure of working with the 1 company again, well lets just say it was great working with the Compton crew.

That is a big misrepresentation. They are not general contractors just kitchen and flooring. I asked them to replace outside soffit, drywall garage and do custom shelving. They said they don't do those kind of work.
