We have used Basic Tree Care several times and would highly recommend. Their prices are reasonable, they are efficient, and took great care to not damage the many perennials I had in the tree removal area. Also, they will come out to do the job when they say they will do it.

Guys were professional and courteous. They did an awesome job and I highly recommend them! They cut down a box elder tree for me and cleaned up everything nicely. Very competitive pricing too. 5 stars!

First time being a homeowner and needed a dead oak tree in the corner of the backyard between a fence and shed removed. They did an amazing job Removing it and getting the truck as low as possible. Couldn't be any more satisfied. Will definitely use them for future service.

I just used Basic for the first time and it was an excellent experience. The whole thing was done online, from getting a quote to getting my receipt, and very convenient. As others mentioned, they did a great job at trimming and cleaning up afterwards. Plus, best prices in town as far as I could tell (I got about 4 estimates). Very communicative, professional, and good at the job! Of all the professionals I've had to engage with in the process of buying and moving into a house, Basic was the easiest to work with. Highly recommend and will use again.

These guys are phenomenal - requested an estimate, received it within 2 days, was added to the work schedule after approving the work, they contacted me the day before to tell me they were coming. To my surprise, they arrived with a large crew and trimmed my many trees quickly and efficiently and all debris was removed. All this for WAY less than the other quotes I received for the same work. Great Job !! Highly recommend !!!

Absolutely amazing! Basic Tree Care took our entire tree down in about an hour (even ground the stump). Fast, friendly, extremely professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for their services!

UPDATE: No one came out cussing their crew. They were told they could not start the job because of failure to initiate contact. The recordings exist for good reason,. The text messages they claim to have proof of sending, went to a landline phone number, that they were told was a landline from the placement of estimate request. It is also the reason they were asked if there was a mental defect within the company, as they repeatedly attempted to argue that they texted the phone number. I am sorry if that was taken offensively, as it was a genuine inquiry. Although, I suppose that is what they mean when they say a hit dog will hollar. I never claimed to be the christian in this equation, He did. Their companies online presence and profile are all the proof required for the community to see what type of 'Christians' these good folks are. If you believe in being abused, belittled when you tell them they are wrong, and generally disrespected as a home owner, go for it. don't say you were not warned. They will flat out ignore your instructions, lie to the public about the interaction, and walk away with their heads held proudly to the sky.

In the end, it is ok. we got one of their competitors, won't name them outright but it starts with a C and ends with ox, that did the job for a fraction of their estimate. And were able to manage communications without the need for a fisher price phone.

after my experience with their company, I would highly recommend anybody else. literally a pack of termites will service you better. I was falsely accused of running their service team from the property when they failed to notify us of their pending arrival. Their office staff absolutely do not care they were caught on a recoded phone line and security camera system in all of their lies. Their mission statement advertises being a christian based business. I assure you that is false from my interactions with their staff, with the exception of the sales rep that comes for the estimate. I will not identify him specifically, only that he was the outlier in this interaction. The only thing they did correctly was agree on recording they are canceling the contract per their preference and that no billing will result from their abuse.

Omg they was wonderful skilled professional and affordable. I had 2 hugh trees cut down out my backyard and the man was great. He look liked he was having fun doing his job. I will definitely recommend this company and I will be calling them again for 2 more trees be cut

The tree looks great and I appreciate that they gave us three tiers of quotes. We had an immediate issue where part of our tree was resting on the power lines to our house but we ended up having the entire tree trimmed (wow was it needed). Office staff is very responsive and the crew cleaned up and moved everything back when they were finished. Highly recommend!

Oakland Nursery is fantastic!!!!! While I don't claim to know the entire history of Oakland, what Gus Rinear(sp?) created many years ago is the only real nursery in Columbus. Lots of garden centers, but Oakland is a true Nursery with unbelievable selection and super quality plants. You get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and take 3 hours to explore the Oakland Park store, it's Amazing!!!!!!!

Had a lot of things from different types of trees and flowers or fountains, loved it.

I love this place. Knowledgeable people, huge selection, affordable, and they really do take good care of their plants. I've bought several from them and I've never been disappointed. I've had several trees planted by them and they always do top notch work.

I don't hate Lowe's. But they didn't have the personnel to help me. A customer referred me to Oakland for hummingbird flowers. I knew what I wanted, and Oakland had it. I picked up another perennial too, for the front porch. Can't wait to draw the hummingbirds to the backyard.

Spring is here and Oakland Park nursery always does a great job every season of providing activities on weekends for kids. I love that! The layout is phenomenal outside. You can walk around with the kids and they have moving water fountains and all of the flowers and trees are in bloom. It's like walking in a beautiful garden.

We went to Oakland Nursery for a little known Firecracker Plant. Hummingbirds love the flowers! But Oakland had a few! And many other plants I wanted too!

This place is a little more than just or average "Old Nursery" it is always up to something more. The house reindeer in the winter and the most beautiful flowers and vegetables in spring and summer. I have a few strong blueberries for this location that turn a lovely red color in fall. I just love it!

Come here always for potting soil and pots and random succulents! Staff is always friendly. A lady gave me a few hanging pots for my.string plants. GO!!!!

The staff and management are KIND AND FRIENDLY and its very diverse. definitely better experiences than at Straders in Dublin

5 acres of no-high-pressure walking enjoyment. Experience surprises like a wild bird display, carriage rides (in season), cook-outs whenever, permanent waterfall, fountains on display, covered areas from the weather.

There's a lot of plant variation but it is pricey. I bought 8 qt potting soil for 6 dollars which I can get a 25 qt for 9 dollars at lowes. The flowers are also expensive. It is a big nursery but it is chaotic. The friendliness of staff is like 7 out of 10.
