Outstanding job done on my bathroom remodel. The team worked soooo hard and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend even though it was a little pricey, I think it is worth every dollar!

* quick and efficient men, very respectful and polite. The kitchen floor looks wonderful. I would use Sears again.

Excellent team from sales to furnace next day installation. Installers did a phenomenal job. Thank you everyone for getting us heat the next day.

After several years of postponing in window replacement, I had decided to use Sears home improvement for my home project; replacing several windows and door...I was satisfied... Will strongly use them for further home improvements...

Very helpful in a timely manner and extremely professional. The contractor was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I couldn't have gotten a better contractor. I was well informed and kept up dated on the progress. I really appreciate what they did and the timely manner and respect.

We had cooling system in this past summer. Contractor was very polite and respectful. But the heat is on but it is not heating up the house. The thermostat has 3settings cool, heat, emergency heat, when you put it on the heat setting it blows out cold air just as cold as the air setting. I don't know what to do. I have called but they said they didn't bother the heat but it doesn't work on heat not very satisfied with the product.

An awful experience. Contract to purchase siding, gutters, etc. After siding was completed, and it is satisfactory, I started asking when gutter would be installed, made many calls, emails, left voice mails and kept getting the runaround, once even a tentative date, etc. Finally I was told they did not have a contract installer in my area and would not be able to complete the job. We did reach a financial adjustment. DO NOT USE SEARS FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT JOBS.

This was the worst home improvement experience. The sears salesperson was not up front about the coloring variation and quality of the seal on their countertops. Not to mention, customer service was awful as they rarely responded and when they did, it was very delayed. Now I'm stuck with a $6500 countertop that is not the same color I agreed to and permanently stained within the first 24 hours I was able to officially use it.

The sales men were very knowledgeable of the product. An exterior door. It took a month for it to arrive. It seem to be a miss communication between the installer and the representative, to install an storm door and a exterior door. The installer got frustrated after it started taken 4 hours. For the amount of money I spent on both I should be happier but I'm not

Prompt. Finished. On Time! Polite, friendly and professional. The guys seemed to enjoy their work and joked with us. They followed through with their obligations per contract. The Mgr. called after a few hours on the job asking about arrival time, respect for us and how much was finished. We gave a thumbs up! The one complaint we had was power sawing in Hall under the fire alarm causing the dust to set off the alarm. It was set off twice and the Fire Dept. Showed up. They were not happy with our security CO. not calling them back to cancel the order. We weren't happy with Security not calling the F. D. Back.

Worst experience with Sears ever. They did a bathroom remodel for me that cost $12k. It looks like something I got done from a Craigslist quack. I went through Sears because I trusted the Sears name and history but I can't say that is still the story. The job started in October and wasn't completed until April because they kept trying leave me with horrible looking caulking and a bathtub wall that was not done correct. The bathroom walls were supposed to have a green wall supporting wall, that they did not put in, so if you ever pushed on the wall you could feel it give(They finally came out and put the supporting wall after a bbb complaint) The contractors Sears searched my home and used my Vacuum and cleaning supplies(I'm positive the $12k I paid for the job they should have had their own shop vac and cleaning supplies but no they chose to Search my home while I was not home, until they found what they wanted ) The caulking looks like a toddler did it. They put a crack in my wall that at first they tried not to fix until I complained, they cracked my baseboards in the bathroom that they again tried to hide and hoped I would not find and complain. Sears kept sending the same contractors to fix the issue and of course that's why the issue took 6months to resolve and really it's not resolved but I got tired of arguing with Sears and BBB. Find you someone off of HomeAdvisor you'll pay less and maybe get a professional looking job. My job does not look like $12,000 more like $6,000 but Sears says the installation was done and complete so they don't see the issues if you would like pictures of why I say don't waste your time email me and I will show you why you should save your money and stay away from Sears.

We had our cabinets refaced, the final work done turned out nice with some tweaks afterwards they had to come back and fix. Unfortunately, my biggest disappointments is that we did not get what we were initially promised and sold. We were told we were going to get a similar contraption to a Lazy Susie for our corner bottom cabinet, which was one of two major reasons we chose Sears. However, we were told during the installation (@ 75% complete) and even after the ppl from Sears who measured the job said everything will be fine, we were informed that it is not possible to put that in because the opening was to small (again this was measured by Sears, initially), so instead, they put in a pull out, which left us with dead space in the corner. Also, the installer, dropped his screw gun on our hard wood flr and chipped a knot into our floor. We are still working out a solution to that as of today. However, overall, the job turned out nice, the installer was professional (with that only one "fupa" with my floor) wife is happy with the new cabinets and how they look and hopefully there can be credits issued to compensate for the mistakes.

Although Sears products are very good, after contact with the initial representative, it was more than 3 weeks before further contact was made. The installer indicated everything would be completed in a day and a half; it took 5 days.

DO NOT USE SEARS FOR ANY HOME IMPROVEMENTS!!!!!
I have had nothing but problem after problem with them. Trying to get Steve to call you back (from Sears HIP is like pulling nails out of cement). Also they still have not called me back, nor have they fixed my problem with water coming into my house after they put siding on my house.. DO NOT USE SEARS FOR ANY HOME IMPROVEMENTS. They don't want to fix their problems caused by their contractors -
I had Sears Home Improvement side my home in February. The Sears Home Improvement staff and the team that was contracted to do the job were easy to work with. Despite awful weather (It rained heavily seven of the eight days it took to complete the job) the installation team never complained and worked long hours to see the project through. The new siding has made my home a standout in the neighborhood.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Sales rep outright lied to me to get the sale.
Toilet too high, sink too low, sink drain assembly installed wrong, rotten sub-floor not replaced, installers messy and careless, etc. Project Manager was very pleasant to work with; it's just a shame he works for a company that doesn't care about their customers. It's no wonder they're slowly going out of business. I will never deal with SEARS again and will never recommend them to anyone. -
The team that came and did the windows were wonderful. You can tell that they have done this for a long time and work well together. They had a system down with how they did every aspect with everything-from removing the old windows to putting in the new ones. And these windows are awesome! I have the 3 pane-replaced all windows in the house (11 windows total) and I can tell a huge difference in what I had before. Got them put in, and that very night we had a very bad thunderstorm, and I barely heard the storm. I am very happy with them and would highly recommend this company for windows.

Contractor Bruce was very knowledgeable of his work and courteous. When encountering an issue he handled it very professionally, Not sure why Sears Heating and Air Conditioning is listed here. I had remodeling done in my Bathroom by Sears Home Improvement.

I’ve been coordinating with a complaints specialists about an issue that occurred on my hvac. Sears home services provided services to my equipment. 4 months later my hvac failed. After getting it serviced a second time from a different company, they discovered that “repairs” from the first hvac maintenance was performed poorly and was serviced at a substandard level. I’ve explained this to the Sears complain specialist and I even have documentation from the second company stating the improper servicing and that the improper servicing caused my hvac to fail. I had to pay upfront for the second company to fix what they discovered to be substandard. I was pursuing reimbursement from Sears because it is apparent that their initial servicing of my hvac caused it to fail a second time. I’ve traded several conversations via email with the complaint specialist and even provided appropriate documentation to demonstrate what happened, including invoice of the cost that I’ve incurred. Then all of a sudden, my emails are being ignored and my calls are not being answered. It is unfortunate that such widely known company is consciously ignoring customers and does not respond deliberately. It is sad to think that I’ve had supported them in the past but now has lost that trust.

This was a Very Good experience. The Sales Person was courteous, knowledgeable about the HVAC Systems Sears Sales, and didn;'t waste any time in getting to my issues. The Sales Person went over the Product and explained how it would work the best in my environment and let me know my options. Explained my warranty and the options I had with it. The Sales Team, from the Sales Person, Sales Manager and the install coordinator, went over my options thoroughly with me. Everyone was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to my phone calls. The installers came a day before the install and did a walk thru of the house. Seen what I actually needed to make this a successful install. Installers came the following day and did a step by step install without any problems. After the install was complete the installer went over my operators Manual with me and asked if I had any questions. I was fine with everything. He went over my warranty with me and explained that I had to register my equipment within ninety days in order to get everything I was promised.
I would refer any of the people I know to a Sears Professional for their home needs.
Thanks for a great experience... -
Kurtis arrived early, promptly got to work on the dryer, diagnosed the problem and had the part for the repair, so he got the job done quickly and efficiently. He also recommended we take a look at the Sear's Home Protection Plan to see if it compared to our current home warranty plan for coverage and price, and we really appreciated that.
