    We bought new appliances only to find out the ice maker was leaking. They came out and determined that there was a hairline crack in the unit itself. We were still able to use it while they ordered a new one. Once they got it in, it took all of 15 minutes to install. Very professional and skilled. I called today about an issue with our dryer and I got lucky as they had a cancellation in my area. Tim showed up and determined the issue quickly. What impressed me the most is that he came with a bunch of replacement parts he thought he might need, and low and behold, he was right. So he was able to get my dryer torn apart, repaired and put back together all in one visit. THIS is what good customer service looks like! This place is my go-to for any appliance repair I may need in the future.

    The ProTec team & specifically Mike L. really couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable & kind. We moved into a new home with a "new" side by side refrigerator. It started making this horrible noise, like an air compressor but inside our home. The startling sound, along with a couple issues with the door not seating right, various alarms about this or that being open, etc. was seemingly getting worse & worse. Mike L. came out once, diagnosed the issues & being that we have a home warranty, we submitted for approval to get the issues resolved. The home warranty approved & Mike L. came back out for a second visit. Unfortunately for us, this time while Mike was working with the warranty folks, it became apparent the former owner or the place they got it from dropped the refrigerator. This was partly the cause of some of our issues with the door not closing right, etc. Ultimately being unable to repair this refrigerator, Mike did all he could to ensure this one would stay running for as long as possible. The door now seats right. The alarms & nonsense alerts have subsided. The horrible noise however it turns out (thanks again Mike for your expertise here) was just the ice maker not yet having a water line installed & so it was trying to pull water where there was none, so we got that run & installed, now no noises anymore either. The refrigerator works OK & we're hoping just to get a couple years out of it before we have to replace it. This whole time Mike spent his time & ultimately because he couldn't fix the unit, didn't charge us for the second visit either. We can't thank Mike & the ProTec team enough for their excellent customer service. We know who we'll be calling if/when our next appliance needs work. TL; DR - The ProTec team are professionals of the highest order & I'd recommend them for ALL your appliance maintenance or break/fix work!!!

    Mike was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The repair was quick, and the price was reasonable. It was less than 24 hrs from my phone call to them and my oven being fixed. I highly recommend this company! (Edited to correct the number of stars - I accidentally hit 4 stars, and this place deserves 5+ !)

    Took a 70's era receiver to this location to have some lights, a sound meter, & the left channel fixed since there was barely any sound coming from the left speaker. It took some time for the work but that's understandable considering the age of the receiver & parts availability. The hours are not really convenient for the audio repair side though. After I picked it up, I set up the receiver & it looked great but no sound was coming out. After doing some of my own trouble shooting I found both fuses for the speakers were popped. I replaced the fuses myself to get it working. I wouldn't expect this to occur after spending over $200. If it was fully tested to see if everything worked before it was returned this shouldn't have happened. It was plugged in twice after I received it. Once to see how it lit up & when I plugged it in for set-up. I have little belief I would have blown the fuses with what I did since that was done multiple times before I dropped it off & that's the life of an audio receiver. To me it certainly wasn't checked before the receiver was picked up.
