Michael was very professional and polite. He checked the problem we were having and diagnosed what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation.

Michael was good but original installers from your company reused my existing line set that Michael has assessed as being to small to properly evaluate the expansion valve operation. Thus I am sitting with no ac and have to pay for a new line set.which they can't get to for a week. Then once completed hr can properly tedt thr system which if parts are needed I may be with no ac
For quite a while. Not Michael's fault, but clearly your company has some culpability.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received. Chris was just amazing - as he was validating all heating/cooling/exhaust systems, Chris also explained to me what it was needed for and what the red flags are that need to be watched.
I have a NEST smart thermostat that has been erroring out for a while during cold seasons and I was not able to figure out what's causing it. The Nest pro technician (which was suggested in my NEST device) could not do anything. Guess what? I got the full service for my HVAC and Nest connectivity with Hilliard-Dublin Heating & Air. I am very happy that they understand everything around new smart devices and can troubleshoot the 'efficient use' systems as well.
Thank you very much because this has been my ongoing pain and hope I got it resolved now. I will come back for annual service next year too.

They were very punctual replaced our AC with ease & professionalism. I highly recommend them. Mitch was very clear in explaining our problem & helped us make the best decision. He even worked with us after his work hours. I had a very positive experience & were able to have our AC replaced in less than 24 hrs.

I had a great experience with 5 Star ! Quickly returned my call, appointment promptly scheduled for estimate and part order was next day ! I had the new parts installed that same afternoon. So from the time my AC was found not working until the time they got it working again with new parts installed was 48 hours ! Service associate was courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Hilliard-Dublin Heating & Air (Also known as Five Star Home Services) came out same day to provide a quote on a furnace install. They were thorough and did not cut corners in assessing the needs of furnace / install area as well as client requests. (We'd already researched and determined the general scope of what we wanted.) They answered questions helpfully and remained in excellent communication from the quote to the actual install. In addition to installing the furnace, they installed new piping up to current code, and replaced faulty piping associated with our water heater. The installers were professional, clean and left us with a shiny new functional furnace. They walked us through all the updates and answered all of our questions prior to departing after the install as well. Out of 5 quotes we received for furnace installs from companies around town, Hilliard-Dublin offered us the best price point AND the most features associated with our install in addition to excellent service.

Satisfactory service, they came on time and on the same day I requested them. The technician was able to diagnose and provide a solution. The reason for one less star rating is because I felt I was charged more for the job that was done. I may have to think twice before calling them next time for any service only from their cost point of view.

Overall great experience with this company. Would give 5 stars but the price to replace an inducer motor (HVAC) that took around 20 min (diagnostic and replacement) at near $1,000 is/seems expensive to me. Great customer service, quick help and got the job done. Will probably use them again for future maintenance/repairs. Would give 4.5 stars if able. The techs were very nice and did a great job. They were honest and polite. Recommend this company for HVAC repair.

Brand, Heman, and Scott did amazing work installing the Ac right in time for the 80s.

Had Josh work my new HVAC system with all the kinks. He was quick with the work and was great at explaining the issue. Definitely a great job. Only reason for the 4 star was because the system that was purchased kept having a couple issues. Other than that fantastic work.

Highly professional from start to end. The sales person Pooya took time to explain all the details about various features of the furnaces and air conditioners I was interested in. He also mentioned what exactly the installers would do and approximately how long will it take to replace my HVAC system. The installers came right on time and did their job exactly as expected. Before leaving my house, David, the team leader, walked me through the operational details and things that I need to pay attention to. This is more than what I expected. Keep up the good work Five Star team!!!

Eddie is a keeper. He was professional personable, and a delight to talk to. He explained everything he did and really knows his stuff. I will ask for him personally for my spring tuneup.

Eric was great! He inspected the units, took time to answer all my questions, discussed pros and cons of various new thermostat options with me and his experience which each of the types of thermostats I was considering. The pricing was very fair and while he made recommendations for additional products (their monthly maintenance package and duct cleaning), he was not overly pushy about them which I really appreciated! I will certainly be back!

Decided to try Five Star to perform an HVAC safety inspection and quite honestly, they entirely live up to their name! DJ was absolutely phenomenal - thoughtful, thorough, articulate and had the patience to answer all of my questions clearly and provided tips on how to best maintain my system moving forward. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend.

My furnace stopped heating, and after spending a few days troubleshooting on my own, I suspected the control board might be the issue, though I wasn’t completely sure. I decided to call for a professional diagnosis. Their diagnostic fee was $100, while many other companies I checked charged around $80.

When the technician arrived, the issues he pointed out were essentially the same things I had already identified myself. I didn’t receive much additional information to help clarify the problem. I was told that the repair would be difficult, estimated to cost over one thousand dollars, and that replacing the entire furnace—around five thousand dollars—might be a better option.

In the end, I purchased the necessary tools and parts and spent a few more days working on it. I eventually fixed the furnace on my own. I’m a complete beginner and knew nothing about furnaces before this, so I was a bit surprised that I was able to repair it myself.

Overall, the service was okay, but the information provided wasn’t as helpful as I had hoped, especially considering the higher diagnostic fee compared to other companies.
