Must read if looking to diagnose a possible leak in your pool or spa - as they are committed to finding the problem.

Brief Background. Had a custom in-ground spa installed by Outdoor-FX / Pool-FX in Plain City Ohio. Upon "completion" this 3000 gallon spa was losing upwards of 400 gallons+ per week with a cover on. The Construction company (outdoor-FX / Pool-FX) claimed it was evaporation - even after I shared multiple tests and measurements. THEY hired the "franchise" competitors to eventually test for leaks. The Competitor (hired by my construction company) found NO leaks using a Dye test.

I called ARK detection after talking to multiple professionals as well as water and soil experts about water loss.

The Ark Detection team. (Art and Shay) were polite, experts and incredibly helpful.
It wasn't an easy find - and took multiple attempts but they were absolutely committed to finding the leak. And they did. Not one leak - but THREE.
In the side drain, the a bottom drain as well as behind a waterfall feature. The bottom drain being the BIG one. This again is AFTER the pool / Spa construction company had claimed there was NONE and their leak detection hired team said there was none.

Two lessons here.
(1) Do NOT hire my construction company.
(2) Do NOT hire the "other" Leak detection company listed in Columbus Ohio.

Ark has been scheduled several times to re-repair a leak in our skimmer line, and each time they are a NO SHOW! They have also been scheduled several times to replace LED lighting and lighting controller, most of which has been NO SHOW. They were again scheduled to replace lights and controller, and repair our leak on Tuesday of this week between 9am-5pm. They finally came after 6pm, when we were not home. Texted us they were leaving the lights on our back table, (they said we would save $250 if we replaced them ourselves) and said the leak repair was not scheduled. I would never recommend this company to do anything for me. "6 On Your Side" be ready for my call!

I’ve heard great things about this company but nothing to show for it. It’s been over a month since they have serviced the pool and excuses after excuses about why they didn’t show up. The pool has overflowed twice leaving the lawn in disrepair. They were scheduled to come out once a week and have only showed up once in 4 weeks. Stay clear of the company for scheduled Maintence and cleaning!!!!!

ARK completed another project for us. This time they installed a new pool heater. Art visited our site and helped us determine the best location for the heater. He then provided help with sizing the heater and provided cut sheets of the unit we selected. That all went smoothly.
For the installation, Shea and Tom did a great job with adapting the heater to our setup. They suggested an improvement for routing the plumbing that really put the piping out of harms way in our pool house. Shea's craftsmanship of the completed installation is top notch. We're very pleased! Great job ARK!

We were new to the area and to owning and maintaining pools. The above ground pool which came with the home we bought was in great shape. We reached out to ARK Leak Detection for help with opening and maintenance. They were friendly and helpful (not inexpensive).

After summer we reached out again to assist with closing. During the process, we discovered the liner was leaking about a foot from the bottom. Instead of repairing they covered the pool anyway stating the water was too cold to enter, it was 70. After paying $444.00, a week later the cover failed and started to rip and come off.

We emailed, texted and called leaving pleas and messages in order to come back and repair and rectify. No response.

We will not be using them again.

Chapman Drainage did a great job on our sump pump drainage project. They worked quick, took great care of our property, and were very reasonably priced. Great group to work with and would highly recommend.

Repaired two verticals cracks in poured basement wall with carbon fiber. Technician (Kyle), did an excellent job, very professional, and cleaned up.

Great at taking and confirming appointments, terrible at actually showing up. States it takes up to 3 days to return voicemails, and to please send and email. Doesn’t respond to either or text messages. I’ve been burned twice now. If he is actually still in business, who knows for how long.

The work was really quick and the site was left in a pleasing manner. The site prep was thorough as the utilities were located and all appropriate permits were secured.
Price was reasonable and the owner was easy to work with

The customer portal was ok, but these days everything has an app, and portals are a hassle.

I was very pleased with the new downspout drainage system that Chapman did for us. They were very knowledgeable, rerouting some of the lines to what I consider a more efficient pathway. I have an irrigation system and the Chapman crew was very attentive to my concerns. Job well done Chapman Drainage!

Chapman Drainage did a great job replacing my drainage pipe from the spouting to the street. Their quote was very reasonably priced compared to other options out there. They showed up on the scheduled date and completed their work quickly. Once they were finished, they seeded grass in the area they dug up. I’d use them again if needed for other issues.

Chapman Drainage was AWESOME to work with!! We had a new garage added to our property and Jeremy Chapman came out and evaluated our current house drainage issues as well as created a plan for the new garage system that would be required. Mr. Chapman was very patient with our building progress. Once our driveway was finally removed, the Chapman crew arrived (on very short notice) and put our drains in!! The price was VERY reasonable, the timing was perfect, and the company was GREAT to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Chapman for any drainage issues you may have!!

Chapman Drainage replaced the pipe from my sump pump out to the street and they did a great job. They also provided a temporary repair to hold me over until they were able to come out to do the permanent repair. They were easy to work with and were reasonably priced.

I am remiss that it has taken me this long to write this review. I had a great experience with Chapman Drainage & Basement Repair. I originally called another well known company and got the sales pitch of a lifetime. My sump pump was old and my downspout drain was busted. I wanted no frills and a knowledgeable company. I got both with Chapman. I sent a few pictures over and I received a quote in a couple of hours. Within a two weeks both my sump pump and drain pipe were repaired! Excellent service, affordable. I highly recommend!

Very fair pricing and very professional. They installed a large French drain for me. For how big the job was they took great care of my yard and repaired it very well. I would definitely use them again.

The previous owner of my house put in makeshift sump pump pit right outside my garage in the driveway. Turns out they did everything wrong that they could when they installed it causing my garage to flood on several occasions. Chapman Drainage was quick to respond and help diagnose the problems. He quoted me a very reasonable price and the work looks great. I have several other issues that need addressed and will definitely use them again in the future!

Jeremy came out to assess the water coming into my 100yr old basement. He was very informative about what my options were and why, what I might be able to do myself, and gave me suggestions for near and long term solutions. Really appreciated that he didn’t try to sell me on something I didn’t need and looked at the issue from all angles. I will definitely be calling them when I’m ready to tackle the bigger solutions.

Installed new drainage pipe but did not remove old deteriorating pipe. Also accidentally covered landscape lighting with mulch which caught mulch on fire when the landscape lighting came on.
