If you need HVAC parts or repair, do yourself a favor and call this place before trying the "bigger" establishments. Appointments are set up quicker, service is more attentive, and you'll save a little money in the process.

This company, as far as I knew, use to be known for doing a reputable job, several years ago. That is why we thought we could trust them. However, we are "thoroughly disappointed in the work that they say they 100% stand behind". We were not only told things to expect that would be done for us, but promised (by word of mouth;that was our fault apparently) things that we never were given or done for us. Must admit this is a 1st bad review ever given to any company and not happy to do it, just don't want to see or think about anyone else getting taken advantage of by this company.

Gary from Fairview Heating and Cooling went above and beyond my expectations with my heating problems. He was knowledgeable, on time, and very efficient. I would recommend Gary and his work ethic to everyone I know!

Very honest and do not take advantage when you are in emergency situation like some vendors. Used these guys for years. Gary is outstanding!! If you want honest and fair pricing, these guys are your best bet.

I needed last minute service and Matt was very helpful. He understood the problem I was having with my furnace and showed up as soon as he could make it with the correct parts. I highly recommend Fairview Heating and Cooling.

Warning! Please do your research before choosing Fairview Heating and cooling! Ask to see there N.A.T.E certifications. The owner is Matt Gibel if you check these reviews his wife "Maureen Gible" left a review a long with friends. Gary Ross the old owner is retiring soon so this is a good thing. Pay the little bit extra to have your equipment serviced/replaced property from another local company.

Matt came out on Saturday and diagnosed my furnace problem got it going for the weekend, he returned Monday with Josh and the parts to fix the problem. Courteous & Professional! Highly recommend for your HVAC needs!

Problem: AC Coil Was Freezing:

Matt was very responsive, came over on Labor Day and checked the refrigerant since air flow wasn't the problem. Came back the next morning to fill the refrigerant and will come back next spring to check pressures to see if I actually had a leak or if the system wasn't properly filled during installation. Would definitely use them again, actually this is the 3rd time I have used them.

Exceptional customer service and very reasonable pricing compared to other companies. Did not try to oversell; and in fact saved me from pursuing a new A/C unit that was more than I needed for my home. Recommend without pause or reservation.

We are extremely pleased with the service we received from Matt Gibel. After having several highly reputable companies quote us considerably higher prices (and try to upsell me on everything) it was refreshing to have Matt be honest with us.

My 85 year old grandma needed work on her furnace.. Matt came out and told her she needed a new furnace and he was very sketchy about it. So we had another company come out and check it out and figured out it was a $60 part that included install.
You should be ashamed for yourself for trying to take advantage of an older woman.

Fairview Heating and Cooling helped my friend out in a pinch with excellent service. They responded with a same day appointment and installed a new motor the next day. My friend was extremely pleased with their professional and prompt service.

SCAM ALERT! I wish I read all of the other reviews. Gerald and Matt talk a great game and are great salesmen. Once we agreed on the scope of work and a start date of June 18, 2021, totaling $18,000, I paid 30% down a couple weeks before starting. They never showed up and stopped responding to text messages and answering calls. Eventually they stopped by with a floor window unit as a temporary fix and told me they couldn't start for another TWO MONTHS. As I was undergoing a major renovation in Rocky River, this threw my entire construction schedule off -- and screwed over every other contractor. On June 26, I texted Gerald to refund my $6,000 deposit as I no longer wanted to do business with them. It's been 17 days and they still haven't refunded me. Then, they just sent me a $460 bill for that temporary AC they dropped off as a courtesy for screwing up our renovation schedule. They ignore my texts and calls. Please, please, please, LISTEN to the other reviews. These guys are con artists. Do not fall for their lip service.

Not gonna lie super disappointed, came out to refill puron. Over filled and over charged me then left in a huge hurry without really explaining anything. Said he knew someone who specializes in carrier and would put me in contact and never did. 2 months later I have to have another company come out due to issues and says that it's not operating at full capacity because there is to much puron and it's preventing my motor from burning out.. so not only did I over pay for puron, I now have to pay someone to take some out. So I would not recommend Fairview heating and cooling unless you wanna pay someone else to clean up their mess a couple months later.

Fairview heating and cooling is awesome. The owner Matt is a good guy and takes care of his customers. I recommend them all the time, great locally owned small business taking care of business!

Matt at Fairview has done several jobs for me at rental property and my personal home. He is always prompt, fair, and professional. I give his number out anytime someone asks for a heating and cooling professional. Highly recommend this company.

We were referred to Fairview Heating and Cooling from a good friend. Called after hours and left message and Matt Gibel called back within 5 minutes and was told he would a technician first thing in the morning to look at our furnace. The technician arrived, figured out the problem and installed the part the following day. Nothing but professional from start to finish. Will recommend Fairview Heating and Cooling to all my friends and family!

On March 29th, 2019, Fairview Heating and Cooling replaced my 25 year old furnace. I have been a Quality Assurance Inspector at my place of employment and can attest to the fact that the installation Crew did a Top Notch job. They took great care in making sure that the new furnace was installed properly. I was very pleased with their attention to detail. If I could I would give them Ten Stars!
