Recently bought a condo where Bartels had installed my Heating/AC and hot water heater. Planned to use their services to service my unit yearly. However, my first experience using their services was less than great. I am experiencing a gas smell in my unit. I’ve had Duke out. I then paid to have Bartels further inspect and rule out the presence of gas inside of my unit from my appliances. Paid $90 for a service call for someone to come out without a functioning gas detector. When I asked about the readings-he said he didn’t smell it and his detector has been “giving him fits” lately. When I further inquired he dissuaded me from pushing for an actual reading because I would have to pay more for that. Huh? So I paid for a service call for a gas smell for someone to come out without a reliable gas detector. Will not be using their service again in the future.

I have been using Bartel’s for almost 40 years and I have never been disappointed. They have kept my heating and cooling systems running perfectly.

I had my last Tun-up with John, he was always super professional and kind, I'm glad he returned to Bartels.
Bartels services my unit for many years now, and I am very happy with their work. I highly recommend them to family and friends.

Called on 7/7/25 for service call, a/c not working, at 1:00 PM. HVAV technician Nicholas Carr arrived before 3:00 PM, same day. Diagnosed problem, repaired outside unit and working great within the hour. Further noted that technician also went above and beyond and checked freon level, air temperature on input and output of unit and checked blower on unit. Nick was very polite and professional and I will definitely use Bartels in the future. 5 stars for sure.

Everyone who works at Bartels is super friendly and professional. I've been happy with my heating/cooling system and their service. I also appreciate their flexibility with scheduling and that they show up when they say they will.

I had an issue with a driver for this company. Like many people do these days, I posted my frustrations on Facebook. My post made its way to the owner, Paul. Paul personally reached out to me and assured me that he would personally address my issue with the driver. Knowing that this company is owned by such a professional and dedicated owner, makes me highly recommend this company. If you have any issues this company is ran by people who truly care about their reputation in the community and doing what’s right. 10/10 recommend.

This is the second time I've had Bartels install a new Furnace and A/C, and I couldn't be happier. Matt was super informative and gave me multiple options to fit my budget. The install team was clean, efficient and courteous. I couldn't recommend them more.

Great company. Called the day before to tell us of our scheduled appointment. The technician called the morning of to tell us when he was coming. Very polite and very professional. Very friendly!!! 😊

Everything happened as promised. I was given a timeframe and the tech would contact me prior to arrival. Tech contacted me 15 minutes ahead of time and I met him at the door. He was very professional and right to the point to take care of my service. Asked him if he needed anything he said no he would take care of everything himself. Which he did. At the end, he walked me through a couple of concerns, which I appreciated.
It was a great experience for me as a homeowner, As it has been with Bartel over the last couple of years since I signed a service agreement with them

Called around to find a hvac company that still works on heating oil furnaces and landed on Bartels. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and explained my options and price for a service. The technician showed up was nice as well. He answered all my questions and was professional. Would definitely recommend them

We’re thrilled with their work and with the HVAC systems. Jesse and Keith worked hard every day, meticulously removing the old systems in our three-story home and installing the new systems. It was a huge amount of work, indeed. Yet, they came to our home every day with a GREAT attitude and a GREAT work ethic. Jesse and Keith are highly experienced, incredibly knowledgeable, and VERY respectful,… to us as homeowners, and also of our property. We’re truly delighted that we are now lifelong Bartels heating and cooling customers. We LOVE supporting small local businesses. Matt, their salesman (an HVAC installer for decades) is very smart, articulate, super knowledgeable, and highly responsive to your calls/texts. Yet, he is NOT AT ALL pushy. We were SOOO impressed with Jesse, Keith, and BARTEL’s, that we decided to have Matt come back to our house and give us a bid for a mini split system for our garage. First contact with Bartels was very friendly, professional and accommodating! My husband "raved" about how nice the guy was that cleaned the furnace. He was even more excited to learn that gentleman was able to assist us on a minor repair!! Now, that's GOOD SERVICE! We have Bartels on the top of our maintenance list! BLESS YOU and Your Business!!

My furnace went out during the heavy snow period this year. Scrambling for someone to come repair it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Bartels was able to get someone out the same day! Nick and Jim (the two technicians that completed our service) diagnosed a faulty control board (my furnace is 13yrs old and out of warranty), were able to quote the part and labor before ordering it, got it on order for me, picked it up from the supplier, and came back to complete the repair the same day. They were clean, polite, and knowledgeable. I spoke with Paul on the phone to coordinate their visit and get regular updates if anything changed while they weren't at my home. He was similarly competent, kind, and polite.

Last of all, as a homeowner, I think we can agree that none of that would have mattered if the price they gave me was unreasonably high. This wasn't the case. I felt that the cost of the repair was very fair for the work performed.

I plan on using them again for my future HVAC needs.

We purchased a large home a year ago and replaced all three HVAC systems with Daikin HVAC systems. Bartel’s bid was almost $25,000 less than HELP PLUMBING. The installation team was fantastic and we love our HVAC systems.

Today, Nick and John came out for our seasonal service to check our furnace systems. Very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional technicians. We are huge fans of Bartels and will soon be purchasing a Daikin system for our garage and possibly master bedroom.

I have been using Miami Heating and Cooling for about 5 years I believe. They have always been reliable and extremely trustworthy. Most recently I had an issue with my AC blowing warm air as a result low refrigerant and a freeze up. Your technician Chris came out the next morning, checked the system and added refrigerant.....I realize any HVAC company can do this but Miami has never tried to sell me anything I did not need, has been honest on repairs and any suggested improvements and I have learned they are a bit better price wise when it comes to service and repair than their competitors.
