Used 614 Pools to both open and close our pool this season and the service was great!

The tech was very friendly and courteous. He was very helpful in suggesting a good way to make the by pass of my heater and make the chlorine generator easier remove to clean

Extremely disappointed with the service and professionalism of 614 Pools. They've been opening and closing my pool for a few years, but the quality has taken a serious nosedive.
Last year, they botched the replacement of several pool cover anchors. Instead of removing the old, seized anchors, they simply drilled new holes right next to them running my pavers and left the old ones in place. I emailed them about the issue with pictures, but never received a response. So I ended up having to fix their work myself.

This year, I decided to close the pool myself, but needed help blowing out the lines. I called 614 Pools and, again, received no response. Clearly, customer service is not their priority.
Between the poor workmanship, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism, I cannot recommend 614 Pools. There are plenty of other pool companies out there who will actually value your business.

Edit after their response: the owner tried to leave a bad review at my workplace to retaliate. That should tell you what you need to know. These are bad faith people who saw a seemingly naive, 27 y/o homeowner and tried to wring me for cash. They never filed anything because they know exactly what happened. Be careful.

They’re either stupid or just dishonest people who take advantage of first time pool owners. Not sure either one is good, lol.

Their B- rating on the Better Business Bureau is generous. Waste of time and money. Upon mentioning my issues, everyone asks, “Who opened your pool.” When I tell them 614, I’ve yet to hear a compliment. And for those who are in the industry or have pools, they scoff and roll their eyes. And I genuinely mean that. People have no respect for this company.

Sure, they’re probably capable of the easy stuff. But if you need thoughtful assistance or have a lick of an issue, I would highly suggest going elsewhere.

A guy came out and fixed this issue for $200. Pool is perfect now. 614 had quoted me for a new pump and some other stupid stuff, telling me that was the issue, running over/near $2k. MONEY PIT. They also had me do underground leak detection, claiming they detected no leaks above ground. As you may guess, no issues underground. The issues were indeed above ground and had nothing to do with the pump, and the guy said anyone who knows anything about pools would’ve been able to diagnose it. Which makes sense because I had three people give quotes besides 614, and all three had the same solution and mocked 614. I’m very pleased with the guy who fixed our system with integrity. Can’t say the same about 614.

I have been using 614 pools since my husband passed away in 2018. They have been nothing but professional and have ALWAYS been there when I needed them to solve the problem! The team this year just reinforced my high opinion of 614 Pools!

Marcus, Brant, and Bryon did a great job. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The liner makes the pool look brand new.

Ok this business is amazing these folks are responsive through and easy to work with. I have found in the” pool world “it can be hard to find a technician to work with. This group is professional and just amazing. I am so happy chat gpt found them for me.

614 Pools have serviced our pool for several years. DJ, Quentin, and Alex lead the way. Today I had Noah who did a thorough job and took extra time to make our pool perfect for the holiday weekend.

Luke and Max were very thorough and careful. They systematically checked water chemistry and insured that needed adjustments were made. They made it all look easy. and they followed up from last visit on a request made.

The pool water test was done quickly and professionally. The replacement of the multiport valve was also done quickly. Alex and Tyler did a fine job and were helpful and fully answered all questions.

Noah & Tyler did an outstanding job! Both were excellent problem solvers. Worked quickly & efficiently! Both should get the bonus, I’d have them back to serve our pool anytime.

Nate and Clay did a great job today with our pool cleaning, and Nate with pool school for us! Very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. They were awesome!

All the techs at 614 do a good job in my opinion. DJ and Marcus were out last week and had a particularly trying job involving changing out some pool lights. They got it done fast and efficiently and were here and done faster than we'd anticipated. I highly recommend these guys for your pool work!

I've been a customer of 614 Pools for a few years now, for pool maintenance, opening, closing, and liner replacement. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them and their technicians! David and Clay are my favorites - they take the time to explain what's going on, give accurate estimations of time until it's good to swim, things I need to do to keep the pool in top shape. There's no risk in using 614 Pools and they are the literal experts in everything pool!
