Constraction reviews in Hudson, Ohio

Element is a professional, turnkey partner who prioritizes quality, craftsmanship, and communication. We contracted Vlatko and the team to renovate our basement, and turn our deck into a three season veranda. Both projects met our design wishes, and continue to be on time and on budget with impeccable quality. Element is an excellent local choice for your renovation project!

We recently completed a significant renovation with Element, including our kitchen, family room, and four bathrooms, and had a good experience from start to finish. Their designers are incredibly talented and make thoughtful, intentional choices that align with your vision. The use of JobTread to track project details is a huge plus if you’re willing to engage with it. It’s an efficient way to stay informed and organized throughout the process.
One of the biggest advantages was the ease of having everything under one roof. With all key contractors, vendors, and a robust showroom, decision-making is streamlined. This was important for us since we were living out of town during the renovation and had limited time for in-person visits. The team demonstrated a strong focus on craftsmanship and incorporated unique, high-end features that elevated the final result. Throughout the project, employees worked with great care and maintained a high level of cleanliness.
We would recommend Element for anyone looking to achieve a high-end result with the convenience and efficiency of a one-stop shop.

NEO Renovations did a great job on finishing my basement. The company offers quality services with reasonable prices. What I liked most about the company/owners are:

• Communication – They always stayed on top in providing responses to any of my questions or concerns.
• Punctuality: Their team always arrived on time and were efficient on their daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
• Accountability - NEO Renovations stands behind its craftsmanship. There were times when owners have personally come out to resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

My friends that have seen my finished basement are also very impressed. I would recommend NEO Renovations to anyone who is interested in similar projects.

Thank you NEO Renovations and keep up the good work!

Overall great experience, Vlada is great at designing layouts for renovations and also very timely. The crew works fast and efficiently. We have done several projects with them and would use them again.

“I have had the privilege to work with Element design for the last few years now. As a subcontractor it is nice to know when you arrive to a job site knowing the place is ready for you.I recommend Element Design for all my customers that are in need of a general contractor.”

I’m sitting at home looking at my beautiful foyer done by Vlada of Northeast Ohio Home Renovation and loving it! If you are looking to hire a contractor, look no further than Vlada. He is easy to work with, very responsive and most importantly able to stay within budget and meet deadlines. Northeast Ohio Home Renovations built a brand new kitchen complete with Amish cabinetry for me as well as a master bath with floor to ceiling tiles prior to the work that was done on my foyer. I couldn’t be more happy with their work. Vlada stayed within budget and completed the work in the timetable that was originally quoted for every single project that he completed for me. Once the job is started, his team reports daily till the job is done. You hear so many horror stories of contractors starting a job and then not showing up for a few days because they’re trying to juggle several jobs at the same time – I can tell you that staying within budget and meeting deadlines is very important to Vlada. In addition, Vlada and Bethany are able to guide you through the material selection process and are very patient throughout the “waffling” period that most homeowners go through since there is so much to select from! If you are look for a home remodeler, look no further than Northeast Ohio Home Renovation! You won’t be disappointed

Vlada Demrovski and his team did excellent work installing porcelain floor tile in our two bathrooms and laundry room in August 2018. He used the new TAVY installation system for putting ceramic tile directly over a vinyl laminate surface, avoiding replacement or additional layers of substrate flooring which can excessively raise floor level. After 18 months of use, no grout cracks or any problems with this method. Their work is clean, precision, beautiful, completed on time, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend; they listen and follow through. WTA-12/17/19 Hudson, OH

Amazing job! Vlada and Bethany did a total renovation for our kitchen and the end result was fantastic. They were both very helpful with guiding us through the design, colors, and which material to use. Installation went seamless and if there were any questions they were very easy to reach. I highly recommend Northeast Ohio Home Renovations for any home remodel!

We used this company for a bathroom remodel in 2017 and had a good experience. Apart from some minor plumbing issues that showed up a year or so later, I don't have any complaints.

We used them again for a much larger project in 2019. The larger project impacted much of our living space, and my opinion is somewhat less positive.

The project started off with an estimate that was not adequate to properly/fully complete the job. Some additional areas where we observed added cost included paying extra to paint the whole ceiling of an area where a wall was removed, which does frustrate me a bit to this day and adding flooring into an adjoining room that was part of the original estimate.

The project did take a bit longer than projected (a little on us, a little on things taking longer then expected to arrive or not getting included on initial orders, and some times where work didn't happen because no one was here).

My biggest beef is with some of the issues we've found in the years after project completion We've found leaks from improperly installed plumbing, leaks from an improperly installed disposal, electrical connections floating in insulation, and the texture of the ceiling where walls were removed look amateur at best.

Overall, I didn't have a horrible experience, and the results look good to this day, but it could have gone better and safety issues don't give me a lot of confidence.

We had a great experience with Element with regards to our bathroom remodel project. Ashley was a huge help during the design phase, and Sam (our project manager) was very responsive and helpful, including resolving issues and concerns we had along the way.

We recently worked with the NEO Home Renovation team on a full master bath remodel and it was the best experience we could have asked for! Communication regarding the project estimate, contract, and questions throughout the process was quick and clear. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and the finished product is everything we could have asked for and more. There were a few delays on our side (cracked sink, delayed flooring) but the project was still done on time and within budget. We look forward to contacting this team again in the near future for our upcoming kitchen renovation project!

EDIT: We hired Element again, so you know I thought they did excellent work. Details are below the original review.

Original Review:

My wife and I were very happy with the work Vlada, Phillip and the rest of the crew did in remodeling our master bathroom. They were prompt and finished ahead of the originally quoted schedule. We came in a few hundred dollars over budget, but that was due to decisions by my wife and I on different materials after we started. Vlada and Bethany were always available during the process to answer any questions we had. They took the time to get us exactly what we wanted, even if it was something that wasn't originally planned for. They facilitated the ordering and delivery of the tile, fixtures, vanity, etc... When the granite supplier called me with an issue, I let them know and they took care of everything to ensure we stayed on schedule. Their price was also very competitive with other quotes we received. We have plans to do more work around the house in the future, and would certainly work with Vlada and crew again. I would also recommend them to any friends looking to remodel anything in their home.

Update:
We hired Element to remodel / gut our second bathroom (including removing a wall), add a vanity to our half bath, and do a little work in our Kitchen in August of 2023. I would leave them another 5 star review for the second round of work if Goggle would let me. They were just as prompt and professional with me as the first time. They added an interior designed to help us decide what to order and make sure we had what we wanted. Sam, the project manager, was extremely responsive to any questions I had. We had one small problem with a leak in the Kitchen, but Sam had someone at my house in literally 20 minutes to fix it. Vlada came by to discuss it and make sure everything was repaired to my satisfaction as well. I would hire them a third time, if we have anything else we want done.
