I had a fairly large design build landscape/hardscape project that Groundsmith did for me. It included patio and landscaping around our house, pool, and barn. We also did some fertilizing and grass "rebooting". It was amazing how much I got done with one phone call. The suggestions and pricing were sensible and easy to understand. The leadership of Groundsmith has excellent values and it shows in how they treat their customers and employees. The crew was professional, responsive, on time, and addressed any questions or concerns promptly. I consider these guys my friends and look forward to having them take care of my landscape needs for years to come. Great Work Groundsmith!

I have been a GroundSmith customer for many years. I used Groundship for my homes landscaping needs. GroundSmith people do a great job on the cutting the grass, and annual spring clean of all of the beds. The show up on time and consistently leave my home better off than they arrive.

Love the GroundSmith team. Super responsive and they have done a great job on my yard and landscaping for years. This year they came through big time on snow removal and highly recommended the organization for all of your landscape needs.

Scott’s team is great! His crew has been mowing and treating our lawn for the last 3 years. They have also done a few landscaping projects for us as well. Last summer we installed a pool. Because of the construction our front, side and back yards were torn up. After construction was completed they got our yard looking back to normal in such a short time and their landscaping plan around the pool was great. They do great quality work and are very dependable. Our grass and landscaping look fantastic due to their services. They are truly full service. Great customer service and are always attentive to the customer’s needs.

We have lived in our home in Dublin for 10 years and I have had 4 different landscapers; GroundSmith has been the best! The customer service is fantastic, they quickly respond to any request and will communicate when issues arise. In the past I had landscapers skip a week or two and never let me know when they were coming next and then charge me for the missed the mow. If GroundSmith has a weather delay they let you know, they will also address any issues they see in your yard.
But there is more...we hired them to do a 60 foot paver walkway to the rear of our home from the driveway. I was so please with the work and level of detail I hired them to put in a paver patio and walkway to our new Hot Tub. Again, being thrilled with their work we had them build a paver fire pit. Our YARD looks awesome!
I then needed to fix my front concert walkway; I had them remove the old walkway and install a new paver walkway to the front door along with replacing much of the landscaping.
If you want a job done right hire GroundSmith. I enjoyed the personal service I received as I was dealing with a family owned business who wants to do it right. I was not just a number, I was treated like a friend.

Needed front garden beds cleaned up and mulched installed. Sent a request for a quote and got a phone call within 15 min. The team came out the next day, worked efficiently, and overall did an excellent job. Will look to use this company for future landscaping projects.

I tried them out for a year, not very impressed. The first crew that came did great, but after that they must've had the B squad out because they would tear up my lawn every time, not trim around driveway and sidewalk, etc. Even after bringing up the issue multiple times, they buzzed my yard in so many places the grass just turned brown and stopped growing (See pics).They also raised my price by 18% after the first year without any explanation, so be prepared for that. I also talked to Todd about quoting some shrub and tree removal and planting, but he neglected to ever get back with me or make an appointment to quote.

RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: I was paying $35 for lawn services and $8 for weeding, my increase went to $41 for mowing and $10 for weeding. That's an $8 dollar increase on a $43 dollar base. aka. 18.6% increase.

For 50$ a week you can get a service that you will end up paying more in buying lawn seed to repair your lawn and end up having to cut it yourself as this company damaged and ruined my lawn and never completed the trimming properly any week they came. The one positive is that the owner of this company is easy to work with and was nice trying to help when I called him but the actual guys that come out to your lawn and service it are in and out in 10-15 minutes and the care they actually put into ur lawn is nothing more than a “quickie” and then they leave. I had to trim numerous spots myself once they left week after week as they missed spots as well as this past weekend I had to purchase lawn seed for 70$ just to try to improve the tread mark damage their big mower made when they cut my lawn. 200$ a month is a good chunk of change for a 5/10 job, horrible just horrible employees working for this company. I wouldn’t reccomend this company to my worst enemy.

GroundSmith is awesome! They do great work and are super easy to work with. Big shoutout to Scott, the owner — he’s always willing to talk through questions, concerns, or bids . I really appreciate his honesty and helpfulness. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a landscaper you can trust!

We've been using GroundSmith for a couple of years and they have done an awesome job. Our property has been transformed from what it was just a few years ago. Another great thing is they take care of so many different aspects for us (landscaping, irrigation, lighting, lawncare, etc.). Everyone on their team is fantastic -- highly recommended!

Absolutely blown away by the team at Groundsmith! From beginning to end, this company has been amazing when we contacted them for a Christmas lights proposal & estimate. They design a customized plan, did an phot mock-up and itemized parts so we could decide exactly what we wanted (thanks Tyler!). The team arrived quickly and was very professional and friendly. We have gutter guards which made the installation slightly different than most houses, but they quickly figured out two potential clip options - showed me both and allowed me to pick the one I liked most. The end result was absolutely magical! The lengths are cut to perfection, cords to the timer are well hidden and the lights are all positioned perfectly with the exact warm white light I was hoping for! My family loves our Christmas lights this year and we are so happy to have worked with Groundsmith! Highly recommend this company! We love their team!

So there are a lot of lawn care companies. most of them will do a good job making your lawn look better than your neighbors.

However not all of them show a great attention to detail or listen when you make requests. You're in a cattle call and a speed through their job.

That is not the case with groundsmith. They are my fourth lawn care company since we took ownership of our home a couple years ago.

The two most important things from a lawn care company are thoroughness and communication.

Groundsmith is Head and shoulders above everybody else when it comes to those two things.

They are the only one to treat my lawn the same way I treat it when they come out to do services and make sure they hit every inch of the landscape. There's no question I'm getting what I pay for every time they come out.

Beyond that they're the only one that has ever actually communicated with me the way I request and helps plan arrival times and listens to my concerns which is invaluable.

You've got a lot of options to choose from I would suggest giving this company a try.

They do great work and are respectful of their customers.

Made several calls with office manager and set up 3 different dates and times with designer. No Show! Didn’t call or show up all three times
Would not recommend.....

Did not use them but have had lots of damage on my yard for over a year when neighbors had work done on their place. They are not considerate nor are their contractors. They drive oversize trucks up our asphalt drive and damage the lawn.

Please secure your trucks so they aren't dropping rocks and debris all over the road.

Shearer Patio and Landscaping just did our deck, patio and pergola which has a beautiful gas fire pit. This is our Happy Place. We highly recommend Craig and his crews to create your Happy Place in your backyard.

We used Shearer Landscaping last summer for whole yard overhaul. Craig and his entire team were neat and extremely professional. Now, we have the most beautiful yard in our neighborhood. They did everything from the fence, patio, and our favorite thing... the outdoor fireplace. We are on his schedule this summer for an outdoor kitchen. Next year, he will be doing our retaining wall. We highly recommend Shearer Landscaping!
