We had Reliable out at our house two different times and I would like to give a review. The first time we had a pipe break in our basement bathroom back in January of 2025. They came took out the toilet, took out the concrete and replaced the tile that had was broken. We had gone and bought a new commode and they reinstalled that. Excellent job. The young man that did it was very polite, very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. We didn't have to wait for him to show up. We were very pleased. So when we made the decision to have our clay sewer line replaced, we of course, went to Reliable. We had Adam and Jose. They did a great job. Very nice and respectful young men. When they were digging they discovered our line to our sump pump had collapsed and the water was running backwards which is why our sump pump was running all the time. So we added having that line replaced. It no longer runs constantly! They did a terrific job! We highly recommend Reliable.

Great company! From the start, Thomas came out and looked at everything that was needed and was able to get us scheduled fast. Justin was a pleasure to talk with while getting my wife and I financed. Jose was a rockstar at completing the job! Overall, very decent company will highly recommend to family and friends.

I called Reliable Basement and Drain because I had a small plumbing issue. I was pleased that they were able to schedule me for the same day. Reliable's plumber, James O'Brian, contacted me for details shortly after my initial call. James fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He also took the time to answer some general questions that I had as well as explaining to me what needed to be done. I really appreciate how neat he was. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

I called Reliable Basement & Drain because I needed my basement drain snaked and cleaned out, because my warranty company wasn’t doing their job by finding me a plumber to unclog my drain. Reliable, listen to what I was saying on the phone, then booked my appointment. David arrived early and explained my situation to me, took pictures while he was doing his job of sneaking my clean out drain. David thank you, for having the perfect personality for the work you do. David is polite, professional, and very thorough, and communicates well.

Andrew did an outstanding job cleaning out our clogged pipes. He was incredibly customer-oriented, efficient, and dedicated to resolving the issue. His hard work and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. Not only did he fix the problem thoroughly, but he also made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend both Andrew and the company—top-notch service from start to finish!

My time with them was not very good because they really ganged me on prices. They did not finish what they had started in clearing. My drain, they charged absorbing it amount. Just for the snaking which did not work. And when they left, it was not fixed. I called Saturday, and then they wanted to charge an emergency fee. So my experience with them is not very good. They were friendly, but still i'm all about results.Not about guessing on what might fix it, but after talking to the company, they agreed that what they did was wrong and they refunded the entire amount.Hence giving them five stars

We had water coming out of our utility drain in our basement. We called Shawn and he had Thomas and his crew out there right away the next day. Turns out we had a massive root from our tree that was blocking our sewer. I couldn’t believe how fast they finished the project. We really appreciated the communication every step of the way. Would highly recommend them!

I spent a good bit of time dealing with Justin over phone and email, asking him numerous questions about the work, and he was absolutely top tier. He never rushed me, and he patiently provided every bit of information I needed, ensuring I felt completely comfortable with the process and the pricing. He is genuinely a great employee. Super nice, highly knowledgeable, and a perfect example of excellent customer service.

This is the second time in recent months that we have had Reliable Basement and Drain Plumbing out for a plumbing issue. This is also the second time we have been lucky to have James O'Brien as our technician. He is a very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and likeable young man. The service was extremely quick and efficient. Reliable has been very reliable! I thought we would have to wait days for service, but he was able to come out within an hour of our call. Great Job!

Reliable Basement & Drain did an excellent and thorough job, was a pleasure to deal with - like family - and kept the conversation going, so I understood. I felt taken care of and completely confident in their abilities and their attitude. Didn't feel like I had to watch my step - or my back.

They diagnosed the problem quickly - and came to a conclusion no other plumber did...and it turned out they were right. All this at the best price I could find, too!

They had the knowledge and answers immediately when I asked questions (esp Thomas!); they have the long (family business) experience, know their stuff, and do the research. And it became obvious they "go the extra mile" when carrying out the work.

You could tell they want you to feel like you're being taken care of by family members. Loved dealing with Adam, Alec and James. Good people! And good old-fashioned personal service. AND from a LOCAL business. I highly recommend Reliable !

We had a problem with our upstairs bathtub. The water would not turn off completely. It is an older home with the original plumbing. We called Raymond’s and only had to wait 3 days for service. We called on a Friday and they were here on Monday day. Jacob did the service and he was awesome. He went out of his way to find the part that was needed checking with multiple places and then driving from Lorain to Lakewood to get the part. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He did an awesome job and would recommend them to anyone that needs their service and I would have them request Jacob. Thanks again for a job well done.
