I hired them to open my pool. They came the other day and 'opened' it... But didn't put ANY chemicals in and they broke the handle to the pump and didn't say a word about it. Also, the water level is so high above the height of the skimmer that the skimmer won't work. They refuse to return my calls after leaving messages. I didn't even know that they were here because nobody called ahead of time, or came to the door either. I'm beyond upset

We purchased a fiberglass pool from Aquarium Pool and Spa and it is being installed now. A bit later then we had hoped BUT no fault of Aquarium it was due to the record breaking rainfall that we had this year (late Spring early summer). The pool was delivered and they had the ground ready for it to go into on the date they said. They have worked on it everyday since. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly, informative and hard working. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew!!!! We love the pool and how it is all coming together. Would recommend them without hesitation. Karen Zinser

Aquarian installed our fiberglass Thursday sandal style pool in September 2020. Jim and the team are good people that work hard and are responsive. Overall we had a very good experience with Aquarian. We continue to use them for water testing and supplies.

Aquarian pools installed our pool 4 years ago and we have been impressed with their service ever since. Jim is always helpful and his team is top notch. Just today we had an issue and Tim who is one of the techs came out and fixed the problem. I could not be physically there and he actually took the time to show me what to do on FaceTime! Highly recommend this business. They are honest and reliable.

We have on ongoing great experience with Aquarian! I say this because once you are a customer, you are always a part of the family it seems. They support us with maintenance and needs for the pool as well as being great friends and neighbors. All of the contractors working on our project were pleasant, nice, clean and very willing to explain what was happening at all times. We had really bad luck with the weather and everyone stayed closely in contact with us to ease our minds and make sure we knew what was happening and when. The results are amazing!

I just purchased shock for my pool today from your store on August 4th 2024. We were told by the employee at your store J. Burkhart that the shock you have is twice as good as what you bye at Menards or Meijer's. This is a complete lie. I say that with confidence because I am looking at both pool shocks as I type this email. They both have the exact same ingredients.
    Sodium-Hypochlorite 12.5%
Other ingredients 87.5%. The price of your shock is almost double the price of other places. I think it is a real shame that you have to have employees lie to customers. Very dishonest place. If they are going to lie about shock what else will they lie about. Don't bye from this company.

Great people to work with. My pump died on Friday prior to Memorial Day weekend. Becky and Fred worked with me to get a priority appointment and my pool was quickly up and running. Nate and his partner were extremely professional and made sure the pump was set up properly instead of taking short cuts to avoid plumbing work. There were some questions with the bill and I am confident everything will be fine.

Having had my pool in place for 10 years I will only use Aquarian to open, close and service it.

My thanks to everyone for helping me out so quickly. I appreciate it!!

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. In the spring of 2022 Jim guaranteed our pool would be installed and ready to swim by Memorial Day 2023. They never contacted us again and we had to call spring 2023. They started construction on the “2week project” at the end of June and were not finished until October. There were minimal rain delays. Jim’s son is the “excavator”. Basically a big boy driving a toy as he didn’t know the basics of digging a hole or grading. Excuse, lie, and minimal contact later they closed the pool. We wanted then to open it this year for fear something would be wrong (pump already replaced twice etc). They came today and for the bargain price of $300 one man took the cover off, put the ladder back on, and put in 2 bottles of shock. Barely an hours work. When asked was told we have to do all the cleaning skimming etc and any additional chemical input unless we wanted to pay additional cleaning fees. WORST company ever and completely unethical owner and salesman

Before we handed over our down payment, I stressed that communication is very important to me. I asked them to not take the job if they couldn’t communicate. They took the check and job. They then did everything in their power to Not Communicate. Being this bad at communication takes work! We had multiple conversations with Jim, then the next conversation the story would change or he would never respond when a date came and went. While filling out our HOA App, Jim told me 3-4 weeks for install from time of Delivery. Our July delivery was in Sept and the pool sat in our yard for quite some time before digging began. We were bumped on digging because our Ops Manager said he was never told the dirt was leaving the site. He had no place to take it. 10 weeks later our pool was done, but never cleaned to swimmable condition. We had to ban the Construction Manager from our yard for asking us to leave work to meet him multiple times then not showing up , trying to flood our basement by saying we didn't need to connect the backwash hose at all, and turning on/leaving on our heater without telling us. Our pool school was lacking – the Tech had never seen our mechanics and we have no idea how to run it when the pool opens in the spring. Not to mention he was 30 minutes late for our pool school then seem bothered to show us anything. If you use them – get absolutely everything in writing. Like when you say you will take down the fence and they say no we don’t need it to come down - get that in writing or they will come in with hammers and destroy your fence that they said you didn’t need to carefully take down. In a time of delays and unknowns, we gave Aquarian every chance to be the pool company that communicated and did the best they could in the current economy, we wanted them to be the ones who tried their best to come out ahead. We knew it was going to be a long process and some of it out of their control, which is why we only asked for communication – a simple and inexpensive ask. Due to all of this, I would not recommend Aquarian, but I do hope they learn that communication is key in this world.
I will highly recommend the contracted concrete company and the electrician, both went out of their way on customer service!

Staff is extremely helpful and patient with new pool owners. They offer water testing and always seem to have what is needed in stock.

We recently had an in ground pool installed and can't say enough good things about everyone at Aquarian! They were polite, courteous, informative, and extremely knowledgeable. Not to mention our new backyard oasis is a dream come true! You can't go wrong with Aquarian Pools & Spas...they do a spectacular job!!!

Aquarian and their team of installers & reps did a fantastic job installing our new pool slide. Becky communicated with us through the whole process, and the crew was some of the nicest guys. Very happy is an understatement. Aquarian definitely has our business for life. 😊

We contracted with Aquarian Pools and Spas to build a fiberglass pool at our home. We have never had a pool before and our experience, from start to finish, was very enjoyable. Jim had great communication throughout the process which was about 4 months total. As new pool owners, we had many questions. There were various other sub contractors that they had to collaborate with, which is not always easy. We look forward to enjoying our pool with friends and family and would certainly recommend Aquarian for any of your pool and/or spa needs.
    Thanks!

I’ve waited a year to write this…This entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE. Concrete pour wrong around the pool, owner tried to blame everyone else and brought an “expert” side with him…who told him it was indeed, his fault. It took forever to get the pool finished last year, MONTHS after promised install. Auto cover installed a year ago is basically non-functional and a drowning hazard. Drop off the $1300 pool robot off that’s only a year old and non functional and it’s been 2 weeks, no word. Overall cannot recommend on any level.

We have had our pool for a little over a year now. We have been very happy with the product thus far. Jim and Becky have done a great job answering questions we have had. We always find it best to stop in to chat about issues or with questions as they can get very busy. Thanks again for the great pool and experience!

Aquarian Pools & Spas made our dream come true! Upon moving into our new lake house, we realized something was missing. The previous owners removed their small hot tub, but the good news was a pre-existing 220V power supply and paver patio remained. Having had a such a great in-ground pool experience at Aquarian Pools back in 2006, we decided to see what our options were. Becky and her family, owners of Aquarian Pools & Spas in Loveland, Ohio, took such great care of us back then, so we were confident they could help guide us now. Being located in a small Florida town, we had no clue how or if this was even possible. Becky changed all that and immediately turned us on to PDC Spas. Holy Cow! We knew nothing about spas, but were so impressed with Becky's upbeat positivity and professional guidance. Shortly thereafter we were on the production schedule to take delivery of our gorgeous new luxury spa.

Becky communicated with us every step of the way and kept us abreast of production and delivery. The spa made it to Florida early and in perfect shape. The local spa technician helped with placement and setup. Honestly, it blew our minds! The colors and design were better than we expected. After filling and starting the pumps, everything churned and all the lights cycled through colors, we just couldn't wait to try it out. We called Aquarian to confirm delivery and express our happiness. Since we were new to this, Becky promptly got us in touch with Ricky Ortiz at PDC to familiarize us with the control panel and some of the deluxe features. Becky helped guide us with chemical basics and just made it so easy to absorb. We are thrilled with our new spa, thanks to Becky for her expertise and the first class support and guidance of Aquarian Pools & Spas. What an amazingly satisfying experience!

From start to finish working with Aquarian was amazing. To be honest not one other company even bothered to call me back. I was In search of a safety cover and closing of my pool in a house I just Purchased this last winter. I must of called 20/30 pool people. Seriously not one call back. I only Received one other quote and it was mailed to me about a month later. I am So incredibly thankful for. I will always go out of my way to visit your location or reach out anytime I need Something. Thank you so very much.

A terrible experience, they told me I needed a new track without giving me the option of putting in a new coping because they were so behind this year on liner installs due to rain..so the new track is an inch lower so the liner doesn't go up to the original spot ru ked up under the coping. I was told that no one has ever complained before and that's part of the problem here in America accepting shitty work as the norm. Fortunately there are better pool companies out there.
