Constraction reviews in Norton, Ohio

Very kind went above and beyond GREAT WORK

I used A-1 Painting to paint the exterior of my home the end of last year and before winter it had already began to bubble and peel. I contacted them and they sent someone out and stated that it does need repairs however due to the weather we would have to wait until spring to take care of it. I contacted them in the Spring and it was as if everyone had amnesia about my services. To make a long story short nothing was done. I would not recommend this company..unless they only do work for certain individuals. I wish I was able to submit photos to show the quality and service I received.
* Your response shows that you never communicated with me. FIRST I never asked nor haggled, or mentioned the lowest price available. you gave me your price and I paid it.. You also did not come out 2 additional times as stated you came out once and Promised to give me a followup call which you never did. Lastly, the verbal warranty that was given to me was that it would last at least 5yrs because of the condition of the siding (which is not wood). Again I began having problems within THREE MONTHS of being painted and was told you would fix the problem which you never did. As a matter of fact, since you continue to insult me and refuse to stand behind the quality of work your promised, let me take my contract to my Attorney.

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job . I am constantly getting compliments on my house. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to anyone who needs work done.

Mike and his team are excellent.

Mike and his crew do a fantastic job. The church in the pictures is a 200 year old church located in Atwater Ohio and they did it such justice.

THANK YOU to Mike and his awesome team to make our home beautiful. Thru alot of weather issues and stepping around hundreds (literally hundreds) of plants they really came thru for us. Their attention to detail is amazing and is soooo appreciated. They are truly "A-1".

We had three rooms that needed major drywall repair and painting. Mike and his team came on time everyday and did a great job. We also had built in cabinets and shelves in the livingroom painted. Mike refurbished the doors and made them so much better. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Hello,
Mike and his team are awesome. Quoted me 4 days work and were done in 3 days. Clean, neat, polite. finished product was beautiful. They go above and beyond. My wife asked if he would touch up some areas around the house and they did that with no additional charge. I had them paint my deck, my first floor bathroom, the stairs going up to second floor and my front door with outside and inside vestibule.

Mike and his team did a fantastic job on my house which was a complete overhaul! They are very nice and trustworthy people. Not only does he have very fair pricing but he really cares about customer satisfaction and will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re 100% happy in the end.

Very thorough, very happy with all the stuff they did. That's including rebuilding a walk in closet. Building a shower stall for me painting all my rooms upstairs.

A1 Painting always goes above and beyond to give you quality work at a very affordable rate. I recommend this company to anybody looking for interior or exterior paint jobs or even any home remodels. They literally do it all. Thank you for making our home beautiful.

We’ve used A-1 Painting on several projects, including painting, repairing and replacing outdoor steps, adding garage doors and openers, installing a disposal — even cement work! They’ve been reliable and efficient on every job. The team always shows up on time, communicates well, and makes sure the work is done right. What I really appreciate is that they do much more than just paint — they handle a wide range of repairs and improvements. I haven’t found anything they can’t do! It’s great working with a company that’s dependable, versatile, and easy to coordinate with. We’ll definitely use them again!

Mike, the owner of A1 Painting, is extremely genuine, fair-priced, and knowledgeable. He’s completed multiple projects for us, including getting our home ready to sell. He did a full walk-through, clearly identified what needed attention and what didn’t (well beyond just painting)
, and ultimately saved us a ton of money by being honest and practical. Mike even took the initiative to choose the perfect interior color, and our house sold within just a few days. Since then, we’ve referred him to several friends and family members, all of whom have had the same great experience. He’s consistently professional, trustworthy, and never takes advantage of his clients.
Thanks for everything, Mike!

I’ve had nothing but good experience is dealing with A1. I have no complaints today’s times. It’s hard to find a good legitimate business that’s on time and has great work and very reasonable Michael Short I believe is the owner. He is an awesome young man who really seems to listen when you want something done. I would refer them always.

Mike at A1 Painting is great to work with. He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fair with pricing. He took the time to walk through everything, explained what really needed to be done and what did not, and made the whole process easy. The quality of his work was excellent, and he genuinely cares about doing the job right. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend A1 Painting to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy

Mike and Sean were great! Professional, personable, courteous and quick! They completed interior painting for an upstairs, stairway and downstairs (including kitchen) for me and I would certainly use them again. Mike was great at communicating with me and working around my baby and 3 large dogs to get the job done. It was also lovely that he handled getting all the paint, I just had to pick my color out at Sherwin Williams!

I have known Mike short owner of a 1 painting for many years. He has done all of my rental properties from painting to plumbing to siding anything you need done he can do.
