We decided to go with R G Thomas to pour our backyard patio after we searched on Facebook for recommendations in the area. R G Thomas was recommended by more than one person!

My wife and I can't say enough about how happy we are with the turnout. Why?

They came when they said they would.

They worked full days in as consecutive a fashion as possible with the weather- we never felt like our job was second fiddle.

The team was courteous, returned hellos and smiles, and was generally pleasant.

The end product of a backyard patio, and full return along the sides of the house is exactly what we wanted. They accommodated for last-minute changes as needed.

They finished the job with a full cleanup and backfilled and seeded the disrupted lawn to the right level to meet the patio (Honestly, I thought I was going to have to do this myself, it wasn't in the contract!)

If I had to offer one negative point, I'd say that communication wasn't super quick in the days leading up to the project (it was April, and they work landscaping, so... a reasonable excuse) .

If you're looking to plant mature trees on your property, this is the place to go. Great trees on site to choose from, and the equipment and expertise to get them properly installed.

David, Amanda, and their crews from Lucas Landscaping just completed a deck and paver wall project for our home. Can’t say enough about the quality and experience from this company. Very happy with the work and will recommend them highly for your landscape design project. They also worked with Eberhardt Landscaping to create a seamless project for us.

I was delivering party notices for my church when I bumped into the general manager and his wife. They live near Lucas Landscaping. They were both very friendly and helpful. I came back a week later to pick up a few things and looked over their entire property. There are now some areas of my yard that require more landscaping than I myself am able to accomplish on my own. I do plan on using them to correct a few of my problems. I am looking forward to working with them in the future.

Lucas was contracted to conduct several jobs on our property - spring/summer 2022. There were items of poor quality and not professional
1. The workers left their lunch trash in our foods
2. We created 1-entrance island and request that the island be built higher off the ground w/ good soil. Lucas only placed mulch over the island - per one of the workers. NO soil was added for future planning.
3. Other entrance island - extended island which was good. However, they did NOT pull weeds before adding additional mulch. Weeds appeared w/in 2 weeks of job.
4. Rocks were brought in, but they were not racked and arranged - just dumped allowing areas to be uneven and not fully covered.
5. 3rd island in back yard - again weeds were not pulled, nor was the island completed mulched. 1 person returned to the job to mulch, but still did not completely mulch this island. Weeds appeared w/in 1 week of job.
6. A lot of soil was brought in the back to LEVEL extension to back yard. The soil and seed were placed on the same day --- tell me how all the soil/dirt can have settled in with a couple hours before seeding. Seeding should have waited another one or two weeks. Of course, dirt is now settled and there are several uneven/level areas in our NEW Back Yard. Lucas shared they used soil/direct that would have weeds. I would have thought a Landscaping company would have used quality soil for a back yard and the price quoted.
7. We asked Lucas to pull three large shrubs running down the side of our house and they did. They were supposed to add soil to level the areas to the specs of the retaining wall we built. They did not add soil, they added only mulch.
8. Lucas did a great job on the west side island enhancement.

Lucas landscaping trimmed, pruned, edged, and mulched our landscaping greatly improving its appearance. I would highly recommend their company. They were efficient in their work, friendly and so polite.

Lucas did awesome work on a concrete/paver and landscaping job at our pond. Good creative suggestions and whenever there was an issue then their customer service was willing to go above and beyond to fix it. Their sales person Amanda was super pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend them.

I was very satisfied with the work done on my home and the overall service I received. Management was attentive to my needs and the crew definitely payed attention to detail!!

Had a last-minute family event and needed anyone to come out they were able to not only come out on short notice and shorthanded, but doing an exceptional job, very pleased with the results and their timely manner

Don’t call for a one time mow. I called to see if they can mow my grass a few times while I’m trying to sell my house and they said I have to sign a contract. They didn’t care to hear my situation or even want to recommend me a place where I can get a one time mow. Just felt like lady was really unprofessional but that could just by my opinion.

These guys are phenomal! I wasn’t sure if weekly lawn care was something I could afford as a single mom but as a small business owner myself I knew I had no time! They are definitely affordable and do a great job! From the owner to the workers they are great guys. There’s one guy who after every mow I can see him on my cameras wave and do rock fingers and it’s just something that amuses me lol. 100% give these guys your business
