I will never go back there again. There were flags flying saying so we stopped because I was looking for perennials. We looked at door which had a sign about calling for help. A lady came asked what we needed we told her. She rudely said we are not open for anything till this weekend.. WE WERE PAYING CUSTOMERS THEY HAD OPEN FLAGS FLYING, guess we weren't good enough to shop.

I buy everything from them. I been buying there for a very long time. Tried other places, they didn't seem friendly or knowledgeable, or the plants died. Here they are always helpful and friendly. They give me suggestions for the area I'm planting. Always have good luck with their plants.

Daytona is a nice garden center that offers a good variety of different plants that will satisfy everyone's garden needs including many other items to help you out with landscaping. They have the best price on flats of flowers anywhere! They are very friendly and willing to give advice when needed. I love shopping here!

Great selection of beautiful flowers and shrubs and hanging baskets. Have fuchsias long after everyone else is cleaned out of them. Would have been a 5 star rating but for the odd lady running the register loudly explaining how the "Free Masons" "killed Michael Jackson" "and Prince"....
Step away from the crazy.... not sure I want to send my friends to a place like this without fair warning! -
I love this shop.
Straight out of the 50's
They still have the old fashioned hand cranks in the greenhouse, to vent the roof. They also have a pile of Radio Flyer red wagons to cart your new plant babies around on while you shop.
Established in 1956 - it truly takes you back.
Founded by the Late Del F. Dayton - it is the original seed from the Dayton family legacy. Del's daughter Susan Dayton runs and operates the nursery now - she has an abundance of plant knowledge.
Family owned & operated for over 60 years. -
I had randomly called Dayton Flower and Garden Center to order a plant for a friend's funeral. I was in luck as they were the most friendly group of people to work with. We had nice conversations about my friend and they nicely helped me by delivering 2 plants to the funeral home for me and wrote up nice cards for them as well. Dayton Flower and Garden Center even went the extra step and went to the local grocery store to pick up our friend's favorite beer and delivered that to the funeral home for us as our 'plant'. Susan was friendly, kind and made a very sad time in my life easy for me to share my sympathy from Wisconsin. Thank you Susan and Dayton Flowers!!!

My mom took me here when I was a child back in the 90s , a staple in the community for sure. Beautiful flowers and the employees are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Been going here for years it's the only place I go to get a grave pillow for my dad. I have worked with the gentleman that owns it and his wife and both are great people. For the price this is the best quality you can get. If you are in the market make sure you see this place not the one closing down the road.

Best tree care money can buy hands down.

These folks did a fantastic job, they did some dangerous work safely, thank you Ron and your crew.
Another great job at a great price. Thanks again. -
They were hard to communicate with and my request was to remove the dead limbs of a very tall oak in my yard because I am scared the big dead branches will fall on the house during a storm. They came and removed a couple of branches that made no difference. I asked them to come back and explain. I had to listen to him talking for 15mins at a time again about branches. He came back and removed half a dead branch. He assured me all the remaining branches were alive, I told him I was positive they weren't but he refused to do anything else. Spring comes around and sure thing, by june my tree still has a lot of very big dead branches hovering over my house. Waste of money and effort.

I can't say enough good things about this company! We had to have a tree removed from our front yard that was damaged and a possible danger to fall and damage our home. The owner came out for a prompt estimate and put us on the priority list for removal. The tree was removed within days of the estimate. They did a fantastic job working around powerlines and all of our landscaping. The yard was pristine when they left, they even blew off the roof gutters and all around our property. I was highly impressed with the customer service. The owner keeps you well informed on the progress of what they are doing. They arrived on time and if there were any delays they notified us ahead of time. I would highly recommend this company for the care and maintenance of any existing trees on your property and also for removal if needed.
