Great group of guys! Has them come out and give us a 2nd opinion before going ahead and replacing our 30 year old furnace. Standard diagnostic fee with exemplary service. James, I believe his name was very upfront, honest and to the point. Explained every bit of everything for us in an easy to understand way. When his boss Mr. Porter came out to offer us a quote for replacement he was the same way. Very kind, courteous and honest. Straight to the point and not trying to up sell us on everything. unfortunately we did not end up using them for replacement due to us having to finance and since they are smaller company they don’t offer financing options which is totally understandable! If you have the cash on hand for a replacement or just need your system serviced I would definitely give Porter HVAC a call. We will be!

Called Porter after someone else was giving me the runaround about not being able to replace a part that's under manufacturer warranty. They were able to get my issue fixed and part replaced within a couple of hours and all I had to pay for was labor. James did a great work and took care of the other issues with the furnace that became apparent after the part was replaced. Would definitely recommend!

George is absolutely top notch. He is always thorough and good to work with. He finds an issue quickly and gets it fixed - technically very good. We appreciate how he communicates what is going on with our system - great people skills! The combination of technical and people skill is what makes George one I feel I can trust and rely on. That's great service!

Sammy came and hour earlier than expected and got our furnace going again on this 12 degree day. For a very reasonable price to!

July 8, 2025 Update. I recommend the Annual maintenance package, Scott came out and was very instructive. He found a wasp nest in the air intake (YIKES) and pointed out a FYI concern about a structural matter of the house, easy fix! He was prompt and courteous. Shamy is my GO-TO company for my home HVAC needs. NICE!!! Thanks Good People at Shamy.

The Service Technician's name is Scott, he did a wonderful job explaining what he was doing and asked me how we look at our HVAC systems. Through this discussion he suggested that I consider a Annual Maintenance package. I thought it was a good value. My Father in Law were customers of Shamy so we will "hang our hat" here for future HVAC needs. Thank you Scott and to Shamy for taking care of my wife's mom and dad. Now the Spring/Summer tune up is covered!

As always, the summer A/C tuneup and check went off without a hitch ... a week earlier than scheduled! Mary, from Shamy, called and said the tech, Scott, had a cancellation in my area asked if I wanted to go a week early. Yes! Scott is a real pro! I trust Shamy with all of this work in my house. They've never let me down!

The service was great, called them and within 2hrs William showed up from Shamy Heating & Air Conditioning, 20min later the furnace was working good. Thank you.
