Plumber showed up and it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing. He blamed it on the old well piping in the house when it was simply just a different PSI rated pipe. I had to go get a part for him after I explained he didn't have the right one. He said he would come back and never did. He left me without water as he cut my pipe. Don't trust this company, they are not owned by the Coblentz family anymore.

Terrible company. They promise an estimate in 24-48 hrs. It took two weeks . The job was to repair or replace a shower faucet. When they did provide an estimate it was for $ 3282.00 !!!!
Who do they think would ever pay that amount for that job? This must be their estimate if they don’t want to do the job. They won’t do it for a reasonable price but they will do it for an outrageous price. If they decline the job , they say they will refund the service call fee of $75. They are not declining the job , they will do it for $ 3000! So this must be their way of keeping that $75. I was amazed at the lack of integrity at this company! I hired someone else who replaced the faucet for $500. The job took them 2 hrs from start to finish and was well done . My advice is to avoid this company . -
Great experience with Henry. He took the time necessary to explain the pros and cons of the water softner system I am looking to install. He was friendly, efficient, and informative. Much appreciated. This was our initial meeting.

My water heater went out on a Friday evening so I was without hot water for several days. The Coblentz team came after the weekend and installed a new hot water heater for me. I had been looking for an honest and reliable plumbing company to have for water issues and I really feel like I can trust this company. They came in and worked hard to replace my equipment and were very thorough and did a great job!

Bret was just great!!! Along with fixing immediate issues, he gave me direction dealing with other issues down the road. I really appreciate Bret and Coblentz Plumbing.

just had a plumber come to my house. he wanted to charge me $387 to replace a $10 flapper. he also wanted to give me a free house inspection. I said no thanks but he said his bosses will be mad at him if I don't take the inspection. I said no. he even admitted that they want you to accept the inspection because they always find something wrong. he tried to sell me a $1000 toilet because he said he wasn't sure if home Depot stocked that flapper. I said can't you just look up the model number at home Depot website. he said he could and then told me it would cost $387. nearly impossible to find a reputable company anymore. had to pay them $75 for giving them the opportunity to rip me off. stay away from them.

The technician that came out was great and polite. I had a plumber start the job and then he bailed on me and I was trying to get them to make sure it was up to inspection and to fix anything so the conclusion was they won to rip everything out that are very paid for and redo it and then they won to charge me $15,000. That’s right I said $15,000 absolutely obscured and I’m a licensed electrical contractor and I have never quoted anybody that kind of money except for a very large rewire project.

This company charged my mom $656 total to install a $100 bathroom faucet. The total repair time was 30 minutes. Please keep your relatives and loved ones away from this company's predatory behavior.
EDIT: In response to your clarification, it would be more transparent if you tell people how much you're charging them hourly for the actual labor (minus parts) up-front. You do not itemize these separately in your billing. You can try to justify your ridiculous pricing, embellish the description of your services, and attest to your own professionalism as much as you want, but the fact is that your itemized billing would have looked like this;
- Parts: $100
- Labor: $556 (30-minute repair)
More than $500 for a simple 30-minute repair is absolutely insane.
I really wish that we had read your other 1-star reviews before making the mistake of doing business with you. It seems that this is not an isolated or uncommon customer experience. -
The Coblentz “technician” (a.k.a. plumber) who came to our house was phenomenal. I trust that they have other excellent “technicians” but my recommendation is: when you need a plumber, call Coblentz and ask for Henry Davis. He was great!

I recently hired Coblentz Plumbing (John Becker) and couldn’t be more impressed with the service. From start to finish, they were prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained the repair options clearly, and completed the work efficiently — all at a fair price.
What really stood out was their attention to detail and respect for my home. They made sure everything was clean and tidy before they left, and even followed up afterward to ensure everything was working perfectly.
If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled plumber, I highly recommend Coblentz Plumbing. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs! -
What a fantastic company and technician! I called after hours. Matt arrived asap and kept me informed throughout the repair. He had a smile on his face the whole time even at 11pm. Everything is working great and we couldn’t be happier! We will be using Coblentz for any and all of our plumbing needs!

Randy did a very professional job on replacing the plumbing underneath my Kitchen Sink. It runs like new now. He also tested the Water and check my other Appliances. He was able to give me some good budget numbers as I do future projects around the House. If you are looking for a good Plumbing Company for your Jobs around the House I would highly recommend this Company.

Bret did a great job! Very courteous and professional. Explained everything thoroughly and worked efficiently to complete the job. The work was completed to my satisfaction.

Coblentz Plumbing came today and roughed in a shower, Lav and toilet in a basement for us. They got finished ahead of schedule and were very professional and nice. A lot quicker than I expected to excavate, install the drain pipes and back fill then re-concrete. Bret and his team were awesome and knowledgeable. Great experience!

They charged me $500 for a $25 part.
After paying over $6,000 for plumbing work, I had three independent plumbers review the invoice. Every one of them was shocked at the overcharges.
This was an emergency. I chose them because I believed they were locally owned. They are not. Coblentz is owned by a large corporation, and their pricing reflects it.
Everything is calculated by corporate software with automatic markups layered in. The result is massive upcharges that have nothing to do with the actual cost of parts or labor.
When you’re in a crisis, you trust the company that shows up. In my case, that trust cost thousands.
Do your homework. Get a second opinion. And think twice before hiring Coblentz. -
Bret was great. Walked me
Through everything and explained how everything worked. He also went through the house inspecting all our main plumbing. Super helpful and professional! -
John was absolutely fabulous!!! He was professional, timely and explained everything in great detail. He offered multiple options to resolve my plumbing issue and get me where I need to be and up to code.
