This company saved the day for me! I went to another place that was only interested in selling me a whole new furnace and a/c that I wasn’t financially ready for. I was so stressed but thankfully these guys came out and gave a second look. They suggested I get a new furnace as well but let me know I could replace things bit by bit.(I have a very old setup) So I started with my broken a/c unit. The financing plan they offer is great. The techs are friendly and compassionate. They did quality work and explained everything to me along the way. I appreciated that they treated me like a human being and not just another number. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They are incredible! I’m so grateful I gave them a call.

I never write reviews (good or bad), it's not really my thing. However, I have had multiple experiences with Thompson now and, I have nothing but great things to say about how they handled my issues with my Carrier Furnace. I probably did know a little more about my issues than some folks would and, was able to explain what I THOUGHT was wrong and, what I already did to try to fix my issues. That being said, all of the staff I have spoken with on the phone have been professional and, assisted in any way possible to help. Lastly, Nate has been the tech. at my house each time and, he's great at what he does ...even though he's a Browns fan. No need to go with anyone else in the Youngstown area.

Tim was extremely pleasant to work with. I made any emergency call while out of town and themostat stopped working with 90° temperatures back home. Tim took the call and was at my house within the hour of the call. Had the problem fixed within 45 minutes. He explained everything to me in laymans terms so I understood what was wrong. I really appreciate all of his help.

After waiting 36+ hours with no heat, 2 no call, no shows in one day from the contractor our home warranty company scheduled for us with a rude owner who hung up on me... I called Thompson’s to see if they could help.

The lady who answered the phone was so nice. Nate called within minutes and said he’d be here in 30. He arrived on time! He was professional and friendly and was able to fix the problem. He was very informative of everything he was doing. The house was back to being so warm before he could even walk out the door. We are so appreciative and will definitely be calling here with any future needs!

Thank you to Tim for fixing our furnace so quickly. It was late on a Friday night when our furnace stopped working. Tim was here within an hour and fixed it.

Can’t say enough good things about this place . The person on the phone showed a genuine concern for our issue and got us a technician both times at extremely late notice . The technician was professional and knowledgeable and their prices were very reasonable and fair . The service was just excellent .

I wanted to say thank you to your team! I was scheduled for Nate to come on 5/16 to hook up my AC unit…But my wife has surgery a few weeks ago and the first day home from surgery that weather was hot and sticky.. She said please put the AC on because she was uncomfortable and I told her the AC doesn’t work we have them on the schedule in a few weeks.. So I pick the phone up the next day and call your office at 8:00am to say we needed to move up our schedule appointment. The receptionist was so awesome and said yes let’s get this done asap and within 2 hours Nate shows up and gets the AC hooked up and we were running and the house was cooling! Had a mini split 2head system installed by another company and they could not get it to work correctly. they tried for 4 months, changing parts but still could not get it to work I called Thompson explained what was going on they had no issue with coming out even tho they did not install unit parts would be covered under Warrenty. But I would have to pay for service I thought that was fair enough In just a couple days we were able to get togather ( this is at a hunting cabin so no big rush ) they sent there tech Tim. He was very knowledgeable about mini split systems With in a few hrs had the issue figured out and corrected !!! Install wiring issue. After 4 months system works great. Called due to central air unit blowing warmer air. They were able to get someone out same day! Grateful for that. due to it being 90 degrees with 3 kids during the summer. It was a very pleasant experience from the first call to the end of the process. Everyone was polite, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They were able to fix the problem during the visit as well!

Very professional company to do business with. Have been a customer for more than 30 years. Just had to replace my original HVAC system. Tim was outstanding to work with and he handled the project from start to completion. A very knowledgeable and thorough individual.

I called yesterday to haveva leak repair in a mini split unit, and at first ggey said they'd be out, call thf office, then called back and asked, is it a self install? I said yes. They replied, sorry if its not one of ours we dont service it. This is bullcrap. You all do thr same job BUT YOUR BIAS CAUSE ITS NOT YOUR PRODUCTS YOU SOLD TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF. Your in a profession to help people, NOT BE BIAS.

Recently I needed an emergency repair for my furnace. I called Thompson Heating and Cooling and it was the best decision I could have made. Danielle answered my call in friendly and courteous manner. HVAC specialist Nate was dispatched to diagnose the issue and arrived to my home in less than 90 minutes. Nate thoroughly explained what needed to be repaired as well as fully servicing my furnace and providing a heating maintenance checklist listing. I highly recommend Thompson for their excellent HVAC services. They are professional, knowledgeable, timely, and very reliable.

These folks are top notch! We've had them here for checkups several times and they're always on time, are up front on the fee, the techs they send are professional and friendly. We had Nate yesterday who was awesome, even with our dog and in 2020 during the Covid pandemic the owner came himself. Highly recommend!

I called them when my new thermostat wasn’t working because the wiring instructions were actually wrong. I called today because my air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The office staff and techs are awesome. They explain things in a way as to not seem like they talk down to you. Prices are fair and honest. I recommend this company so much. Hard to find a honest company that respects people not profits these days and that is them. Awesome honest people.

This company is the top of my list. They are extremely responsive. They came out even though it was after 5 pm and had my unit back up and running in no time! Very reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended.

My furnace started acting out 3 days ago, it's 12/06 & 20 degrees. Had four different techs from four different companies out, three of them told me I need a new furnace ranging from $6,000 to $7400. & All said It couldn't be fixed. 1 tech (Gault) went so far as to SNIP my wire disabling my unit (20 degree's!!!!!! ) saying it's a carbon monoxide issue, he waited until I was upstairs cut, replaced panel. Finally I called Thompson, they sent Nate. He told me my furnace could be fixed no problem for about $500. He couldn't guarantee years but I understand that, at least get me to spring, perhaps summer. They also have me scheduled for this Monday. I can't say enough about how appreciative I am for Thompson & Nate, they don't know me, I've never used them but he, they went above & beyond. I lost my husband in April, in the middle of a complete remodel. Realized I couldn't trust anybody but found it pays to shop around ! You can stop looking once you've found Thompson heating and cooling, I guarantee it. And out of all the estimates I received for new furnace, they came in least expensive!! This has been a terrific day & happens to be my late husband's birthday ☝️🙏. Thank you Jesus for Thompson Heating and Cooling.

Hot water tank when out on Christmas eve call at 2 o'clock said technician would call me 4 phone call and 4 hour later the answer service got ahold of the tech said they don't do hot water tank tech let the answer service call me to tell this very unprofessional wound not use if that how they treat customers
