I cannot say enough good things about Ciminello's! Tristan, the designer nailed the design, and I did not change one thing that he suggested and am so happy I didn't. Mario the projected supervisor and his team were incredible craftsmen and artists. They were extremely detail oriented and perfectionist and very hard workers. I am beyond pleased with how everything turned out and highly recommend Ciminello's to anyone thinking of having landscaping and hardscaping done.

We had an excellent experience with them and especially with Andy. He made a design that fit what we wanted and needed, the team showed up when they said they were going to, kept the worksite clean, and finished in a timely fashion. The craftsmanship was outstanding!

The Best in the Business!

This is the second house we have used Charter Oaks for tree pruning services. We were impressed by the quality of their work both times. Their expertise was apparent. Our property was cleaner after they left than before they arrived. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the service. We will definitely use Charter Oaks again in the future.

From the beginning, Charter Oak was responsive and timely. During the time when we were walking our property with Ruskie, for the estimate, he was approachable and easy to talk and shared his expertise readily. On the day of the work, the 3-man crew who came to our house, was only interested in the safety of our home, making sure that they got everything done accurately and they were even open to our questions and cutting off an additional branch here or there. They even left a few cuttings of the trunk for a keepsake (the tree had a special meaning to the family). After that day, the stump grinder came two days later (exactly when we were told he would come) and completed his work in very short time with no mess left behind. Matter of fact, throughout the entire process ever worker made sure that they cleaned up and tidied up like they weren’t even here!!

Amended ~ in the autumn of 2022 I had occasion to call Charter Oak to come back out and do more work on our property. I call for a full business week and left messages multiple times and NEVER got a response and I could never get anyone on the phone. To date (March 2023), no one from Charter Oak has ever contacted me! So I called Joseph’s Tree and they were prompt and courteous and answered all my questions and even corrected a few errors that Charter Oak made.
So now I would recommend Joseph’s Tree if you are looking for a tree service company!!

Charter Oaks has been a phenomenal company to work with. I called many others, and they were scheduled weeks out or did not show up on scheduled dates. When I emailed Charter Oaks, I had the estimate back the next day and the job was done within 2 business days after that. I needed to have a tree removed to complete another scheduled project and they understood the urgency and did everything to accommodate. They had the tree dropped, the stump removed, and everything cleaned up within 2 hours. The yard was very clean when they left, and our neighbors have already commented on the work that was provided because it was done so neatly, quickly, and professionally. I look forward to working with Charter Oaks in the future.

My overall experience with Charter Oaks was great. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and pleasant to speak with. The crew did a great job of removing my two mature white pine trees and cleaning up afterwards. Several days later a gentlemen showed up to remove the stumps and he did a great job also. I'm a first time home owner. I was nervous about how expensive I know tree services can be, so I shopped around for a few quotes before getting the best one from Charter Oaks. Not only did they give me a good value, but they are utterly fantastic to work with. Every single person I interacted with was courteous, professional, and genuinely seemed like they wanted to be helpful. I and my property were very well taken care of every step of the way, and I never felt like they were just trying to get money out of me. We had a relatively easy job - but Charter Oak was responsive and very well priced. We got quotes from four tree service contractors. Charter was competitive and ultimately that is why I chose them.

The work was done well - and they didn't drop the trees on my house (which is what I expected). The reason for five stars instead of four is that they guys who came to the house to do the work were friendly and considerate of the lawn and our neighbors.

We were very pleased with our service by Charter Oaks. They responded with a detailed quote within 48 hours. The work was easy to schedule and completed within a few weeks. The tree they serviced was unrecognizable when completed. I didn’t think it could ever look that good, and I was impressed with the skill involved in reshaping and thinning to make it look years younger. They were conscious of our sprinkler system and used heavy mats to protect our lawn. Their clean up of the yard and our roof was exactly what I would have expected and communication with the home office was quick and efficient. As a side note, we had our tree fertilized and treated for scale. At that time they noticed several landscape bushes were heavily infested with a leaf miner. I thought they were just damaged from the cold winter. They taught me how to recognize the infection and they are going to treat the area. I appreciate their experience and expertise and plan to use them for any future issues.

We were thrilled with our experience with Charter Oaks!! Service was fast, friendly and affordable. Within a week of calling for an estimate (for some dead wood trimming from a large silver maple tree in our backyard,) the service had been performed. The tree looks great and we couldn't be happier. Also, the price was extremely fair. I had 5 companies give me quotes for the job, and Charter Oaks was the least expensive. If you need trees or dad branches removed in Columbus, call Charter Oaks! Charter Oaks was amazing from a customer service standpoint as well as actually getting the job done. They were on-time, communicated clearly, and very reasonably priced compared to other quotes we received. I also really appreciated they didn't destroy our lawn when removing a pretty large dead king maple. They did a great job cleaning up. I would absolutely use again and recommend their services.

We had asked for wood chips to be delivered to be used as mulch. We were told that we would be contacted to arrange delivery. We have not heard from Charter Oaks, so I am modifying my review from a 5* to 4*.

A large birch tree next to our house starting splitting today. The predicted storm tonight with possible straight line winds may have meant the tree could end up on our house! I called Charter Oak around 2:00. Sent them pics and they agreed it might come down. They dispatched a crew who arrived at 3 pm. They are completing the job now by removing entire tree. Amazing service! I highly recommend them!!

Charter Oaks has worked on our 2 acre wooded home lot two times. We would recommend them to everyone. They did a great job both times and were very easy to work with. I especially like the way they are very specific and clear about the scope of work. The crew was always professional and friendly.

I had two trees that were ruining my driveway and walkway. I used Charter Oak earlier this year to trim one tree and they did a great job. When I decided that the trees needed to come down, I called. Charter Oak. They gave me fair price. They cut the trees, ground up the stumps and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and profession, and even left me some pieces for my fire pit. They came highly recommended by a family member, and I was truly pleased with their work. I have recommended them to other family members as well. If you're in need of tree services, Charter Oak is definitely at the top of my list.

Charter Oaks Tree and landscaping is the best!! They were quick to respond to my estimate request to remove our 55ft tree, and did the work exactly as they described. I checked their reviews, as well as the BBB rating (A+), and decided to give them a try. We got estimates from other tree services, and Charter Oaks was actually the least expensive! One estimate we received was more than double that of Charter Oak's. The staff was very informative, courteous, kind, considerate and professional. Their clean up was impeccable.
