I am a Buyer's agent and I work by Client referral only, with no database marketing... this means I stay in business as long as the result of my client's purchase is positive and remarkable to the point that they will go through the effort to connect me with their family/friends months/years after their purchase. Chad is the only engineer I will gladly recommend f - I get excited when I encounter a structural or engineering question/issue/challenge because I know my client/network has a competitive advantage when they work with Chad because they receive better information, education and advice than the alternatives I have seen in the last 10yrs.
So when people ask me about Chad, I tell them the truth... he is certainly not the best looking guy, but he keeps us in business by doing the best work.

Great service. Did the structural, roof, termite, mechanical, electrical and plumbing inspections on our house. Not only did they do a great job, but gave us tips on ways to take care of our house. Highly recommend!

As a Real Estate Associate, I understand the importance of informed and satisfied Buyers. When I personally recommend anyone to one of my Clients, it carries a great deal of weight because a portion of my relationship and reputation will include the experiences Clients had with those I have recommended. AEI remains at the top of my list of recommendations; I have always been pleased with the service(s) they provide to my Clients!

This is the second project with which Chad helped us. The first involved a water leak under our foundation. With his help we were able to navigate the insurance process in a way that the insurance paid for the interior piers we needed due to the leak. This saved us thousands of dollars.
In our current 2 story home we wanted to remove a load bearing wall on the first floor. Chad showed us what we needed to do and how to properly support the upper story with a LVL beam and posts, as well as properly reinforcing the foundation to support the redistribution of the weight. I am confident in the results in the modifications we made due to the recommendations and involvement of Chad. He was available to guide me when we needed to make changes to the original plan or I just had a question.

They were there at the preset appointment time. Had several experts for all different areas of the home pre purchase inspections. Each expert talked to me about what they found wrong in the house, or more exacting....in our particular case, what was right with the home. It's good to get a feeling of "The home you're purchasing really doesn't have any major problems. These are the things we did find that need attention." They were very thorough in the inspecting and I felt confident that nothing was getting missed. The companies professionalism really showed up in the quality of inspectors that were sent out. A good deal for some great peace of mind! Thanks, AEI !!

Chad has been A+ on several projects of ours and we will keep coming back to him. He has done house inspections, made drawings for piers, helped follow up with pier companies, and made approved drawings for removing walls in our two story house. He is always very positive and goes the extra mile. Would highly recommend!

After having non structural licensed home inspectors in my home, I called AEI for a structural inspection. Chad's knowledge provided me with solid recommendations of needed work. A lot of money was wasted before. I will use Chad and AEI on every purchase from now on so that future buyers know upfront that the house has been looked over by a certified structural engineer. So glad I did not follow the advise of the generic home inspectors.

This company is professional and knows what they’re doing! Chad has been in this business for over 40 years and gives detailed reports with expert advice. If you need someone you can trust who truly cares about people, this is the company to use! Thank you for everything and making sure our home had a thorough inspection.

Last year I bought a home built in 1998 and it was only my second home purchase. Because of these factors I wanted a very extensive home inspection before purchase and was recommended AEI. Their website states “assurance you need to make confident, well-informed decisions.”

The inspection was over 20 pages of small issues like washer cap missing or light won’t turn on. Overall the cost of inspection was 1200 dollars. My wife specifically asked about windows and a backyard door that seemed to have been repaired and wasn’t closing easily.

The report had zero mention of water issues or possible warped wood/water stains or anything like that. No mention of the door/flashing.

3 weeks later my wife noticed the door was harder to close and the wood floors were buckling. It didn’t take the restoration company or insurance adjuster long to spot water coming through holes outside the backyard door, flashing missing, and windows without good seals. Over 50 thousand dollars in damages and repairs. All wood floors in the home had to be replaced. The backyard door took 2 months to come in so we lived on concrete floors. I would have never bought the home if AEI would have pointed out these issues.

I wrote multiple emails and AEI finally responded that it was not their fault and if I wanted a more extensive inspection I should have paid for one! I paid 1200 dollars and would have paid more if they advised! I wanted my money back because their contract protects them from any liability. They refused and would not call or meet with me.

Very disappointing experience with AEI and a waste of 1200 dollars!

Chad was very knowledgeable and reassuring. We were extremely worried that our house was going to start crumbling around us. He reassured use that our house has good bones and just needed a little foundation repair. Thanks Chad for being amazing at your job. I would use them for any structural engineering needs. We will also hire them on top of a regular home inspection in the future when purchasing property.

I had an inspection done several months ago on my home stating there were no foundation issues with my home aside from normal settling despite 2 contractors telling me I needed foundation repair. Within a few weeks, cracks started getting larger, then the tiles in my kitchen started separating and cracking, followed up very shortly with my fireplace separating from the ouside wall, the gap between my exterior stone veneer and siding has gone from less than an inch to about 3 inches wide, amongst many other issues. It seems very clear that I do indeed need foundation repair. I'm quite sure the estimates I get this time will be much larger. I'm only giving 2 stars because I should've trusted my gut feeling when I saw the signs rather than a professional opinion.

We had some structural issues with our house, and had AEI perform a structural inspection because we needed professional advice. The report outlining the needed repairs was detailed and helpful. The needed repairs were pretty significant, but the report specified all the required work. As with any major project, there were lots of questions along the way. Chad was helpful through the whole process, answering questions as they came up. I highly recommend AEI.

True professionals! They scheduled me in quickly, met me at the property at the scheduled time and were very thorough with the inspection. The report was completed promptly with great detail. I have used them twice now and will definitely use them again when I need another inspection,

Love this team and trust them with every transaction with my buyers, even with my own personal home. I recommend and refer them anytime I get the chance.

AEI was so pleasant to work with. One call and the following inspections were scheduled, structural, electric, mechanical, plumbing, roof, and chimney. They were all there on time, each person was milling around the house checking on what they were there for. Each inspector stayed and showed me & the realtor exactly what they found, backing everything up with detailed, zoomed in pictures. They answered all our questions and explained things we didn't understand. Then in a day or so a very detailed report, including all of those pictures, came from each one.
Having AEI coordinate all of this made the decision to purchase this home with confidence. Buying a home is the biggest purchase any of us make, and the comparatively small amount for AEI's services was well worth it.

Hands down the most thorough home inspector in Tulsa. Punctual, thorough, ethical and reasonably priced. Had it not been for our inspector taking the time to be thorough and explain repairs, we would have never known there were multiple fire hazards (including a gas leak at the shut off valve on the fireplace), a roof that was down to the fiberglass threads, plumbing back-up and rust inside HVAC units. We thought the home we were buying was in perfect condition... Eeek! In our case, AEI may have very well saved the lives of our family.

I'm a real estate agent and really appreciate the attention to detail, friendly demeanor and thoroughness this team displays. They went over everything with us and were upfront about the good and the bad. I'll be using AEI as much as possible. It's obvious these guys love what they do and care about their clients.

Daisy was amazing for our first experience with AEI. My son just got under contract for his first home and she worked us into their busy schedule so we can make an educated decision regarding the homes foundation. Thank You Daisy 🌼🙏🏻!

AEI was wonderful. They were extremely clear, precise, and timely in delivering their report. I am a regular homeowner and hired them to do a structural engineering evaluation due to some sagging floors and cracking corners. Not only did they give the evaluation, they provided detailed plans for fixing that are easy to understand and practical. The representative who came to the house was very polite and answered all my questions. The phone representative was also happy to answer any questions I had prior to the appointment taking place. I felt completely confident going into the appointment and I am extremely pleased with the results. If you're wondering if this is the right company for you, it is. Call them.

AEI Inspections provided exceptionally thorough structural, EMP (electrical, mechanical, plumbing), roof, and termite inspections on a property that we were currently under contract on during March 2025. During these inspections, each of the professionals discovered multiple issues that the property owners had not disclosed. The cost of these issues was quite substantial! Not only did the professionals communicate and show us those issues during the inspection, but their reports were extremely detailed-oriented. We were grateful for the expertise the professionals had (three of the team had over three decades of experience each), as well as the clear communication they provided!
