Called to talk to the owner for a business opportunity and the lady that answered the phone was rude and hung up on me called back to see if it was a mistake and she stated it was not

-
Great experience with getting my septic tank replaced.

Worst experience ever, I would never recommend using them. All the manager wanted to do was argue and made no sense at all. They want to charge extra and not warranty the work performed. Their initial work was sloppy and fast, guess that is why they wanted to charge again.....Use MULLIN PLUMBING, they stay untill it is fixed...As you will notice, the owner only responds to the good reviews and had nothing to say about the poor ones.

Just called and talked to Angie...she was funny, seemed honest and explained what the charges were up front. I made an appointment for later this afternoon and am looking forward to seeing how it goes. Rated higher than Mullin Plumbing and less expensive than Aspen Plumbing. Who knows how to pick a plumber? Will keep you posted! Hitting 3 stars cause it is making me choose some...don't want to put one or five so I am picking the average!
UPDATE
Ok "Nate" showed up when he said he would, did what I asked him to (Old house has its quirks), didn't try to tack on any charges, didn't upcharge me and overall - 25 minutes after arrival I paid less than I was told I might have to pay originally!!! The two problems are fixed and he is gone and I am a happy customer! Thanks "Angie" for the fun phone call and for sending out someone who knew what the hell he was doing. Bring on the laundry! -
I feel price gouged. Gentleman arrived told my wife water heater required thermal coupler and a leak fix. Charged $335 with parts and labor. Calls me back with a new quote for additional part with another $300 quote mentions the unit replacement would be $2200. The unit is 8 year old Bradford and white.

Expensive. Work was completed, but dissatisfied with service and company.
Called Horizon for emergency service, and although the work was ultimately completed, I would not recommend them for any emergency service, as they seem to take advantage of the situation. When I placed a service call, they sent out someone to give an estimate. He "quoted" me a price, based on the amount of work he believed would need to be done to complete the job. When the work was actually being done, it was discovered that the fix was not going to be so complicated. In fact, half of what was "quoted" as possibly needing to be done, wasn't done because it wasn't necessary. Despite the fact that half of what was quoted to be done wasn't done, the company refused to take payment for anything less than the original amount they quoted (which, again, was quoted based on the amount of work they believed needed to be done). I spoke with management, who stood firmly behind the decision and came up with many excuses to defend it. The company refused to provide a detailed invoice on my "quoted" estimate.
Unfortunately, shady pricing wasn't the only ordeal I was subjected to. The job was completed, but rather poorly. I had to argue with management to get them to send someone out to take a look at and fix their mistakes. Among the glaring imperfections was a botched cement job that required them to re-pour cement. The job site was also left filthy with no attempts made to clean up anything before departing. Had I not called to argue, the company would not have taken responsibility for these oversights.
I would personally not use this company again, nor would I recommend them. Furthermore, I wouldn't wholly trust all reviews placed on Google. Some of these 5 star reviews were posted by employees of the company. For example, Angie English, who placed a 5 star review, is in management and the individual I argued with regarding the issues I experienced. Heed with caution.
