The technician Rich has been exemplarily so far. The job is not competed as of yet but that is no reflection on him. The scope of work is not simple and is larger than what a scheduled half day service call could complete. Plus our home insurance company is involved and approvals has taken longer than expected. While here so far Rich has been a great tech. He was very informative of what he was doing and why. The why is important to me. He has a great personality and is extremely professional. I have never had a service tech out before that worked as quick and efficient as Rich has. He was friendly to my family while keeping his momentum of work moving forward. I liked the fact he was not on the phone every time he turned around like I've seen with other companies. Also he was as clean as I've ever seen too putting plastic wrap on the floor from the time he came in the front door to anywhere in the house he was working. He also wore gloves and his face mask the entire time he was here which again was unlike the previous companies. He cleaned up his mess, which he kept minimal, before he left. Rich is clearly a go-getter and is an perfect example of what other service technicians, in any field, should be modeled after.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. Brandon was courteous and professional in setting up the appointment. Communication was timely confirming our appointment the day of and the day before.

Robert was right on time. I appreciated his early arrival. He explained every step of the way, what he was doing, in terms I could understand. He located the leaks and provided a temporary solution until the repair work can be completed.

I will highly recommend American Leak Detection to others, and certainly use your company again if I have a need.

Everything was above my expectations.The customer Rep. Stacy was great was able to move up the appointment which was especially helpful for me. She was very professional and extremely efficient. The technician were also very professional they identified the problem right away which relieved me from the stress I was having over this problem. They didn’t stop there they went about their other checks to make sure no other problems existed.I appreciated the knowledge and professionalism they provided.

Our plumber was Rich, he was fantastic! I honestly can not say enough good things about him. He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the damage the leak had caused. We appreciate his integrity and passion for his job. He was a constant professional and kept a very clean area while working. I was extremely impressed. But overall the work he did was high quality.

Ishmael came to my house twice now through ALD. He is wonderful. Really, I had four plumbers before him and he was the only one that found a resolution to our issue (they couldn’t access our cleanout). I can’t say enough great things about him. If he did other plumbing work I would hire him immediately. He’s so friendly, knowledgeable, communicates clearly, and works very hard and efficiently.

I don’t know what you pay him but you should pay him more. He is 100% why I will come back to ALD in the future and I will recommend you all.

Chris with American Leak is absolutely, without a doubt, the most qualified technician we have ever encountered. A restaurant in our shopping center was having issues with several drains backing up. After 3 plumbers failed in finding the problem areas, Chris came in and figured out within 30 minutes exactly where the clogs were located and flushed out the drains. Now all the plumbing is working well! We were amazed how fast he was able to solve a problem that 3 plumbers could not figure out. American Leak is more expensive but...they get the job done right. We would have saved more money if we would have reached out to them first...and of course a lot less frustration!

Gee was on time, called before he arrived and worked very efficiently. He listened to my concerns. He explained what he was going to do and completed the tasks. Amanda was professional over the phone and was able to set an appointment for the following morning. Thanks!

Drew and Celso were very professional to work with on some complex plumbing issues that my house had. My house needed some extensive drain & slab leak repairs and Drew was very knowledgeable in this area with knowing how to detect these leaks and get them repaired. He and Celso dealt professionally with these issues and always kept me informed about progress and what was needed. I would recommend both of these plumbers.

I've had American Leak Detection out to my house a total of 5 times now I believe, and these guys have all been fantastic! I had to have work done on my foundation, requiring a static leak test before and after. I'm not great with names but all the employees have been great, they are on time, helpful and do a great job explaining what they are doing. Once my foundation work was completed, when we had the static test done again we unfortunately found out we had a leak caused by the foam injection. So, I had to reschedule with ALD to have the leak located, and they were able to squeeze me in much sooner than I'd expected, once the leak was located they also managed to come back out within 2 days to get that repaired. These guys did a great job and I couldn't have asked for anything more, keep up the great work folks!

After two other leak search companies were out here and failed to find our leak, we called American Leak Detection. Kelby arrived and immediately found the pool leak. Not only that, he scuba dived the entire pool inch by inch to confirm no other leak. We will ALWAYS use this company for future leak issues. We was very impressed by his knowledge and concerns.

I was delighted with the service here. Robert called before he arrived to let me know when he would be here. He was here when he said he would be. He explained things to me throughout the process and he found the problem. He was so thorough he made sure there were no leaks anywhere else and showed me what was going on with another issue I knew was a problem but he showed me and explained to me the extent of it. I knew I had a leak, I thought a national company would help me. I am not at the location and never got a call each time they were there(1100 the first and 675 the second visit) . I had to make multiple calls. I even had to call and ask for a quote to fix the leak 1700 later they wanted 3000 a day to fix it. No explanation of how they were going to fix it or where except the reports they sent me that didn't explain everything. I called a local company who found the leak in a different location than what ALD did. Lesson learned

We had used ALD in the past and remembered the superior service so called them again when had another leak under the slab. Skyler and Tim came out, detected the leak and then submitted their bid. While it's not cheap (and isn't going to be no matter who you call), for the superior work they do, it's well worth the money instead of getting someone inexperienced who is going to tear up your house and cost you more. Skyler came out and repaired the leak and filled and cemented the hole expertly. He managed to do this while only having to go through 2 tiles and not the entire floor. And he cleaned up my bathroom better than I do! Excellent work.

My water meter was running all the time. The technician came found the leak under the slab in 30 minutes. Good job! Those who are in the office are nice and professionals. They charged only what was agreed pay.

I could barely hear water flowing in our hall bathroom and fearing a slab leak I called American Leak detection for help diagnosing our problem. Gabriel came to the house and found the leak and suggested rerouting the hot water line above ground from the sink to the tub through the bedroom wall (on the other side of the bathroom wall) for several feet all within the first hour of detection. Gabriel and his coworker Seth came back a few days later on appointment and efficiently resolved my leak issue within a half day. Great guys, welcome back to my house anytime! We're very happy with American Leak Detection and their great service and solution to our problem! The sheetrock repair was well done by contractor Kurt a few days later. Nice job and we're relieved that our solution wasn't a whole house reroute which would have been our worst fear

They came out to my house and never put a camera down the drains to check for blockages that may have existed in the pipes causing my house flooding. But they gladly charged me $400 to tell me good luck in finding my problem.

I will NOT recommend these guys to anyone, period.

The office was extremely accommodating on my schedule. I had to change the appointment several times and they were very nice each and every time. We had to have a whole house leak test done, when the technician came out, I believe his name is Kenny, he was very nice and professional. He did a great job. This is the second time we have called ALD and they have been wonderful both times. Would highly recommend.

They seemed great and I was tricked. The technician kept saying he’d take good care of me but that was a lie. Our leaks were so bad that the ac ducts needed to be repaired. I informed them of when the HVAC company was coming so we could get the holes filled asap. They came out to fill the holes and reattach the water heater and that is when I was told there was another messed up duct the technician never told me out. So I had to have dangerous holes with small children and no hot water for another day plus I had to call an HVAC person again. I told them I was very upset about this and was told they call in the morning with how they could make this right. They never called. I got the duct fixed and told them to come out and fill the holes and attach the hot water tank. They tried to not fill the holes that day, thankfully they did but the technician made it clear he was annoyed he had to stay late to get everything done. My husband gave them a check but they were supposed to prorate a day that the technician left early so I stopped the check and told the technician I needed a new invoice and they would need a new check. I waited a few days for them to get me a new invoice to pay then I was threatened with legal action for nonpayment. When communicating my unhappiness with the company the worker interrupted me to say but we’ve fixed your invoice so we are good. I am truly appalled at the company’s lack of decent customer service. I also believe I was lead astray, after multiple new leaks discovered in the ABS pipe I asked the technician multiple times if we should just replace all the pipes and was told that was not advised but after speaking with multiple people I believe we are living in a ticking time bomb just waiting for the next leak. I do question if everything was installed properly with the hot water tank, before they took it off I never had water pressure issues, since they put it back on it’s never been the same. Another smaller but also annoying thing is that they used and clogged my toilet multiple times, one time being while I was trying to get ready for work, taking up my only bathroom for 15 minutes, making me late for work. Lastly, on the final day they were here working on filling the holes, we came in after they left and went to use the toilet and it was set up to spray water all over the place when flushed. Would never use them again or recommend them to anyone!!

I would highly recommend American Leak Detection for hard to find leaks. From my first contact with Matt on the phone to schedule and get estimates to Colby calling on his way and letting me know when he would be there and being extremely and friendly while at my home, put my mind at ease. They came highly recommended from a plumber friend of mine who had used them before and another friend of mine who owns a car wash who had used them before. I will admit I was not looking forward to the expense, but in the scheme of things, paying them to find the leak so it could be fixed was MUCH cheaper than digging up and/or running a new main water line. My water meter is 150+ft from my house. They were able to locate the leak within and hour even though I couldn't tell them for sure which way the line ran from the meter. Thank you ALD for your service.

I have a lot of waterlines running through my property, I was really dreading the thought of having this leak found. There was probably 100 places. I thought it would be but where he found it wasn’t one of them! They tell you it’s so much an hour and after that, it an additional per hour rate. Honestly, I expected this to be a nightmare.
I appreciate the fact that he found it in less than an hour , marked it off and I have to say that was incredible and very much appreciated! I would recommend this company to anyone with a leak.
