I didn’t have the best experience this week with Mullin Plumbing. I found a ceiling leak in our living room, and after looking at our upstairs bathroom we thought the toilet was leaking since there was a bit of water on the ground around and behind it. The technician didn’t think that was the cause, and proceeded to cut a hole in our living room ceiling, go to the store for a part, and replace a part of a pipe just to say it was actually coming through the roof. I was charged $500 for the hour and a half. After getting a roofing company to take a look, we discovered the issue was the line connecting to the toilet all along. Easy/cheap fix and no need for a hole in my ceiling. I gave 2 stars because they did come back out and fix it (they were going to charge me, but i asked if they’d drop the service charge since it was a call- back). But I will definitely choose someone else next time. Now off to find someone to fix my ceiling…

The Mullin's employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. The clean up after themselves. Would use them again. They placed a water boost system.

Jr. was good and very polite and very delicate to what his work job was. I did ask about the membership and I did ask about the discount for today. And he was pretty busy, and I think he just forgot all about it. So can you tell me about the membership and can I still get a discount? Uh, for today's service..

I called Mullin Plumbing to get an estimate for a whole-house re-plumb. I requested a morning appointment and the individual I spoke with set up an appointment for a Tuesday morning. On the Monday prior to the appointment, I get a text stating that the service person would be there sometime between 8am and 6pm the next day (not specifically in the morning). I didn't think anything of that since it appeared to be a 'canned' message. The service person showed up at about 3:15pm.
He quickly went through the house, asked a couple of questions, and looked in the attic. He was here a total of about 15 minutes then charged me the service call fee plus one hour of work. $300.00. He stated that if Mullin's was chosen to do the work, the one hour fee would be removed from the final bill. He left at about 3:40pm (he was in his van doing something in the driveway for about 10 minutes.
A few days went by and then on Friday, I called TWICE asking for my estimate. Each time I called, I was always told I would receive a call back. No call back. All other companies that I got estimates from had an estimate to me within 1 to 12 hours. I needed this estimate because I needed to remove part of a built-in piece of furniture that was in the way of accessing some water lines. The individual that was helping me remove this furniture was to be here the next day (Saturday) so I had a decision to make. I could not make a decision without the estimate. And each company I worked with gave me different info on what needed to be removed on that piece of furniture.
No estimate received on Friday and no one called me back. Called again on Monday... again... someone will call me back. No call back. Same thing on Tuesday. No call back. I even told them on Tuesday (ONE WEEK AFTER THE SERVICE TECH WAS HERE!) that I now want a refund. No estimate provided, so I want my money back. Again... someone will call me back. No call back.
Finally, on Wednesday, 8 days after the service tech was here, I finally receive an estimate. It was a dollar amount... .no detail, no info... Just a final dollar amount for the work.
This is customer service at it's worst. I will never do business with this company again. $300.00 to get a piece of paper with a dollar amount emailed to me.

UPDATE: Received a message via this review about a week ago that they would call me to discuss my negative experience. Still no call. Still waiting. And now I see they've removed their response that stated they would be in contact with me. Consider twice before trusting this company.

Great job, explained everything and answers questions. I had a pressure test done to have a gas meter set and connected to a pool heater.
Highly recommend. Both techs i have dealt with were very helpfull. I will use them in the furture. THANK YOU

DO NOT HIRE!
The church had Mullin fix a gas leak near/in the kitchen. The church had used then for years.
Took the longest time for them to complete the project.
But the worst thing is the final clean up. It never happened. They used heavy equipment to remove dirt, then scratched concrete retaining walls in the process. Left it mostly unrestored to it's original condition. Heaps and piles of dirt everywhere, grass growing on the new piles that were piled ontop the original layer of grass. Mud and water backed up into the church as they heaped dirt on a drain way.
They left large chunks of removed sidewalk on the church parking/drive thru area. A brother drove over it with his truck runing his running board. I had to get it with a forklift and figure out what to do with it before more ran it over. Not sure who is running the show but definitely don't hire. Hire a smaller company that cares more for their customer. Never would I recommend them ever.

Service was outstanding. Explained what needed to be done. Moved my Wednesday appointment to Monday so I would not be without water for three days.

Installation went very smooth and he also was going to come back and replace the part that was broken on the new faucet. I would definitely recommend them.

Hot water install. Prompt and courteous service. Great follow up for some additional adjustments needed. Al way on time!

Worst customer service, not once, twice! Not have all tools to do the job and have to used customers without asking. Rude and not knowledgeable technician, with 10 years of electrical experience (per tech words) make it wrong connection in control box. Never respond on the week ends, need wait till Mon to schedule emergency.

$290 to unclog my toilet. Snaked toilet took a total of 20 minutes. So an $89 service fee and $200 dollars for 20 minutes to snake the toilet. Said there were roots charged me $290 and my toilet was clogged the next day. Total waste of almost $300.

Brenden and his partner worked very fast and very efficient and was very informative about my issues , they made sure the work area was clean when they left 👏

The technician was knowledgeable and did a quality replacement on the part he replaced (spigot/sillcock). I thought there was possibly a slab leak with the amount of water outside and wish leak testing would have been performed to verify, it was not. I was assured this would fix the problem. Was told to monitor and see if everything dries out and they would come back if this wasn’t the fix. Wish it could have all been done at once.

He came in, introduced himself, went to work. Short time later he said it was done, new valve, no leaks. Five stars.

Timely and communicative. Andrew was fantastic. Came on a Saturday for an emergency I had with the hot water heater. Thank you for fantastic service and speediness.

Horrible experience. We had a clog in our main sewer line, and the guy who came out could not find the access point, snaked my shower for whatever reason, left a massive mess in the shower (which did not look like this from the backup only after service was rendered), and disparaged me in front of my wife because "I thought I knew better than him". I called the builders to learn where the access points were, and came home from WORK to try and assist. I went above and beyond to be helpful to the technician, only to get insulted, billed 110$, and told to call somebody else. The other plumbers that I called, went through the kitchen access point and found the main access almost instantaneously without any trouble. I utilized Mullin plumbing for a hot water heater replacement in the past, but I will never be bringing my business to them ever again. I filed a formal complaint and I expect my refund.

Ive never personally used their services but today the company I work for did and the gentleman who showed up was completely rude and unprofessional to both security and the maintenance staff, he was upset over the company policy of not letting contractors in with out an escort if they haven’t done the back ground check, once again this is a company policy it has nothing to do with security or maintenance we don’t get to make those kinds of decisions. After seeing that employee act the way they did and say the things he did I can never recommend your services or use them myself for fear that somebody like that may come to my house and act the same way.

We have used Mullin Plumbing for at least 12 years. They have always been fair in price and quick in service. Andrew was our plumber today. He was fast, friendly and informative. Thank you.
