Water Damage Restoration reviews in Norman, Oklahoma

On November 3, we were hit by a tornado. ServPro quickly handled the water mitigation, setting up equipment before removing sheetrock, lifting the damaged floor, creating a vapor barrier and anything else to prevent future damage. We greatly appreciated the team of Aaron, Tyler, Jesus, Chase, Luis and Santos for all their hard work.

While on vacation, a family member discovered our house was flooded due to a broken valve on the hot water heater. We contacted ServPro, they explained the process and immediately got to work. By the time we got home, the mitigation was well underway with many fans to dry out walls, floors, cabinets, couch cushions etc., and the soaked carpets removed. They worked quickly and diligently to assure everything was carefully packed up and taken to their temperature controlled storage facility then finished removing damaged floors and base boards, checking walls for moisture and removing wet insulation. They left the house very clean and covered everything that did not need to be removed with plastic for protection so reconstruction could begin. This was a big undertaking and they did a great job! Everyone on their team was very friendly, professional and helpful and always stopped to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend them! Thank you to Kenrick and DJ for overseeing the project, to the team Austin, Luis, Denenne, Chase, and special thanks to team leader Patrick.

We could not be more pleased with the professionalism, timeliness and thoroughness of Servpro. Given the situation we experienced with a fire, it was reassuring to work with a team that truly cared. Austin, Kyle and Luis were timely and efficient in their work. Kendrick was great to communicate with on a weekly basis. Hats off to Austin for leading the team at our property. He kept us updated through the process on a daily basis. If you ever have to go through an event like a fire, this is the team you want working with you. Great job guys!!!

Aaron and Brian are the best. Amazing how much work they accomplished in short amounts of time. They worked around a demanding schedule, showed great professionalism, and kept a positive attitude the entire time.

The lack of transparency during the scope of work was lacking. We asked about costs or charges for things being done, and were told they couldn’t give us a cost until the job was completed. It was implied it wouldn’t matter and we felt they trying to force us to file a claim with our insurance( so they could inflate pricing). If you need to use them for water damage make sure to remove all of the base boards, carpet padding, and move all of your own furniture to keep from being excessively charged. We had no choice but to use them as an emergency circumstance with the job starting at 10:44 pm on a Wednesday night and ending (by there choice not ours) at around 3:30 pm on that Friday. We were charged for a full two days worth of work. If I had a way to give a negative 5 star rating I would. Also the team supervisor DJ was very condescending while taking to him on the phone to discuss things that we were overcharged for during the job. This company is a scam.

After posting the initial review above, the owner Michael Whittle did contact me. After reviewing the statement and listening to my complaints about behavior conducted by an employee and the overall invoice, he made many corrections. I appreciated his willingness to correct the many issues.

Servpro was on the scene within a couple of hours of my call to assess and ameliorate the flooding in 3 rooms and hall caused by a running toilet that didn’t shut down when it should. All personnel were extremely courteous, personable, and mindful of our situation and schedules. Very thorough and professional. We will continue to use their services when needed.

Patrick Chase and Trey were awesome. Very professional thorough and friendly as well. Came out almost every day for a week when my kitchen and master bath/closet got water damage. They did a great job and tried their best to save anything they could as well as cleaned up well at the end. Highly recommend.

Darrell Taylor came out to check for mold. He was so friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything. We were very impressed.

If you have the misfortune of a flood in your office, you need the good fortune of having ServPro Norman handle the restoration and cleanup. This happened to us about 2 weeks ago at 50 Penn Place, and ServPro has had a huge crew in the building ever since, working like madmen to get the place back up and running. Tae Gibbs was in our office on day 1 and has worked tirelessly ever since, taking care of every detail. He and the crew are working long days yet they are pleasant and act like they really enjoy their work! ServPro and Tae have made this bad situation much better.
