Tree reviews in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Clearing lines for OGE. Asked them to be as”gentle” as possible while trimming large elms under oge lines. Did their job with little damage to my trees. Appreciated their consideration while during their job to protect power lines for best service in case of winter storms!

They are cutting trees for OG & E. They came into my yard and totally stripped my two remaining trees on the south side. They came through a few years ago and killed one of my trees. It took about a year to die then it just fell over. The ones they recently stripped will be dead within a year. There was a crew of about 6 and 5 set around my table smoking and talking while one was up in the trees destroying them. Worst tree service ever!!!

These so-called tree experts consist of a crew of Mexicans who don't speak English and are probably all illegals. They know NOTHING of trees other than to cut them down and chop them up. Leaving home I drove along the back of my property and found them not only tresspassing on my property but they had entered through my gate that was posted NO TRESSPASSING and had proceeded to cut down every tree along the inside of my fence, removing the wind row I was growing and then they tore out about 30 yards of wire fence with their mini-dozer. I've called the police and plan to press charges for criminal tresspass and destruction of private property.

Came to trim trees for OGE and left hundreds of pounds of stumps in our backyard. Spoke to a supervisor named Francisco and he was quick to get a crew to help us out to get them to the curb. Thank you for taking the time to do this as we are unable to move them. :)

After coming home from work Feb 8 2018 at 4:30 pm I found my entire back yard stripped of all trees and a few stumps left, and had no Idea What happened. My neighbor had called me earlier stating that tree company Named DAVEY was cutting down my trees. I thought maybe they were clearing the power lines. but when i got home they were completely removed inside and outside my yard and only a couple were left half cut down. I then found a notice on my door that they had made a mistake on the property address and wanted me to call them ASAP so they could RESOLVE the mistake. Called them twice so far and have not reached anyone as of yet. I was going to work out a good deal with them but since they won't answer my calls it is only going to make it harder for them.

Sad OG+E uses this company.
Damaged a post/gutter dragging out limbs through a gate. Supervisor didn't knock, just opened the glass door and pretended he tried. Luckily I was by the door and followed him out to his truck, he said he called his boss who based off some photos said that the scratches weren't fresh. Usually contractors go the extra mile to fix their mistakes.
Beginning to wonder if having a monopolistic power company is such a great idea. Who's going to tell them no? -
These people were subcontracted by OG&E. Now, I recognize that utilities can come on to your private property. They, however, gave us no advanced notice when coming to trim the trees behind our house. They instead "knocked" (not rang the perfectly functioning doorbell) in the morning when everyone was asleep. We own two large dogs that will defend their territory. We have a beware of the dog sign posted. They checked to see if there were any dogs present in the back yard before proceeding too open our gate. All of this happened without telling anyone. They were dragging branches out through our gate. What would have happened if we had let our dogs out to use the bathroom? They could have bit one of the workers or got out!
The supervisor spoke with my mother and apologized. While I understand they have a job to do, I don't see how this apology will fix their procedures for the future. I would hate for someone's pet to attack someone or get out because they don't give advanced notice or ring the doorbell.
When they finished the job, they didn't even close our gate properly. Fortunately for our dogs, I checked to make sure they did and fixed it. When I confronted them about it, they said the gate was left just like they found it. I told them it wasn't and they insisted that it was. I don't like being made out to be a liar.
Bottom line-- they are not professional.
If you are you are concerned about pets, don't use them. -
Private property apparently doesn't matter to them. Cut down 4 of our trees, damaged our lawn and left the stumps WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. Didnt even knock on the door to warn us. Also dragged both neighbors trimmings into our lawn, again without permission. Didnt even stop when we protested.
I get that OG&E commissioned you, but they never warned us or asked permission to set foot on out land either! -
While I cannot speak on the home services that they provide, I will speak on the trailer loading and debris hauling. We passed a white ford truck labeled with your logo with a trailer loaded going down Drummond road and literally had to go into the ditch to avoid all of the limbs hanging over into our lane. This would certainly be an issue with odot as well a serious insurance liability

Had an appointment scheduled a week out for someone, anyone, from the company to come by and give an estimate on 2 trees. A week later, on the Friday they were supposed to come, no one showed up. No one called to reschedule. I know they didn't come by cause I was home all day doing housework. No Call No Show means they are now on my DO NOT USE list.

An OGE representative told us in February that we would need to have one tree removed and one trimmed for electrical line clearance. On July 8, the Davey team showed up unannounced at 7 a.m. to do the work. Foolishly, I assumed they knew what was to be done. When I returned from running errands, I found they had removed several trees and mutilated others. My yard will never be the same again.

Definitely not arborists with any care for the trees. The way they trim these trees is a crime. This looks like a tornado went through. So sad and a disgrace to the city

Last week a man from Davey knocked on my door and told me he’d be trimming the trees on my fence line so they’re not so close to the power lines. Today I opened my back door to EVERY SINGLE TREE CUT DOWN. I now have no privacy between my yard and the neighbors. This CANNOT be legal, what an absolutely dishonest, lazy, and disgusting thing to do.

I want you to see what this company did to my house and yard. None of these limbs are mine. They were contracted by OG&E to trim around the power lines in Midwest City. On Feb 28, 2024, they dumped a whole truckload of limbs (that aren't mine) in my front yard. These limbs have officially been there for a week today. I do not have a chainsaw. The limbs go through my entire yard, even in between the houses. Some of the limbs are 40-50 feet long! They are trying to say that I have to call sanitation and have them pick up these silver maple limbs. I do not have a silver maple tree. But guess what, even if I had the $55 to pay sanitation to come, they won't pick this up because it's too long and all the way up in my yard. Their claw cannot reach that far. So far, I've talked to a family lawyer friend. I'm filing charges for illegal dumping with the MWC police department. I've called the city code enforcement, and tomorrow, I'm filing a complaint with the cooperation commission. I need help. How can they just do this to someone. I could get a ticket that would go to my landlord and cost me my home. If they did this to me, then they did it to someone more vulnerable than I. Elderly, single mom with kids, etc. This is not right. All these earwigs and ticks that they have dumped on my yard, and they didn't even trim 1 limb of mine. Not 1! I want the manager of Davey to drive by my house and see what their workers did. I would fire them! Speaking of fire. In about another week, this will be a huge fire hazard. Please help me. Someone listen.

They showed up on my porch ringing the doorbell and yelling “hello” at 7:30am stating the neighboring property requested service nearly a year ago and they were just now getting around to it. The property owner has been deceased for several years so I’m not sure who requested it, but it wasn’t me.
They drove their giant truck THROUGH MY YARD, leaving ruts in the grass. They completely blocked my driveway leaving me no way to get out without driving through my yard. My kids had to park their cars at the neighbors house and walk home.
They left the biggest mess with branches and limbs all over, which will require picking up before we can mow. I am so annoyed and frustrated with the unprofessionalism. They stood out there doing nothing but smoking (during a burn ban) for at least 10 minutes.
I did not receive a phone call or any notice in the mail stating they would be on my property for 3 days. I’m not sure why they didn’t drive on the neighboring property instead of mine, but I’m not happy. -
Thumbs up kidder tree service!!
-
Did an excellent job on keeping the tree from hitting my house!!
-
They gave me an estimate that was 3 times more than other tree trimmers.
-
We had a very large tree removed and stump ground. They did a great job and were the most affordable option we found.
-
Great experience! Been in business for 55+ years. Very good price, professional and courteous. Knew what they were doing and advised me that I could keep trees that were in good shape. Removed one half of a tree that had died, and trimmed up the rest. Cleaned up everything when they were finished. Highly Recommend.

Blanchard’s tree service was hired by my neighbor to cut down tree and they damaged our fence. The owner of the company said he would have it repaired, but never did. It has now been 4 months and I have reached out multiple times.
