I started using Wortman several years ago when they were able to fix my aging heat pump on a very hot summer day. Last year I decided it was finally time to replace it and my gas furnace. They did a great job. and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I'm enjoying lower utilities and I didn't have to wonder if my AC would work this spring.

Virginia gave me estimates for a new hvac system and they beat all the other companies' estimates. She answered every question and was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Just got my first full bill and it was 166.38 for the month of July! The cheapest ever and it was run 75 during the day and 72 at night the whole month. Went from a 13 seer to an American Standard 16 seer system and it's already paying dividends. Also, they didn't push expensive systems like some of the other companies did. We wholly recommend Wortman.

The service advisor was excellent. He originally put my unit in and all the ductwork 27 years ago. He is always been very friendly very prompt and very accurate. Altman, it's truly one of your best assets

Terrible experience. Had an appointment for a simple A/C service. Was scheduled for 1 pm which I made a few weeks in advance. They never even showed up. They did call between 2 and 3 to say they were on the way and asked what Size air filter I needed. But then never called again to say they weren’t coming or even to give an excusE on why they didn’t show.
I tried calling back 5 times to find out where they were and the calls would go to a voicemail that was full. So I couldn’t even leave a message to cancel.
I took off this afternoon from work to have this service. How does this place have such a high rating?
Never trying this place again. I recommend you don’t use them either.

UPDATE: Serviceman came to my house last night around 6:30 p.m. He apologized for missing the earlier appointment. Cleaned my outside unit with no problem.
ORIGINAL: I replaced my entire air and heat system through Wortman in July 2019. I love the new unit and haven't had any problems with it, but in April 2020 when I called for standard maintenance the coronavirus had happened and I was unable to reach them until early June. At that time I was informed that Wortman is now bankrupt but employees are trying to honor the service contracts. I was very appreciative of this and despite the fact I had to wait a month for an appointment, I understood and was willing to wait. I called Wortman yesterday and confirmed the appointment, which was supposed to be at 8:30 a.m. today, but no one ever showed and or called to reschedule. I basically waited a month for nothing. I called them at 10:45 a.m. today to let the scheduler know that their employee didn't show, I'm on my way to work, and no one is at the house. He did apologize, but I can't help but feel duped for waiting a month to be stood up.

Service Tech, Eak, was Excellent. Very knowledgable and answered all my questions during my Fall Service. He was also very polite and personable. I will request him in the future. PS - I am very happy with my system that Wortman installed a year ago!! I have saved hundreds of dollars on my electrical bill this year with a new, more efficient system! An A+ experience all the way around with Wortman!

First time to use Wortman Air and I'm glad I did. They are extremely knowledgeable in the area of HVAC systems. When they came out to the house I was impressed with they're professionalism and knowledge of the system. Had great attitudes and willing to go the extra mile without being asked!!

We are happy we contacted Wortman Central Air when we decided to replace our system. Virginia recommended an appropriately designed system for our home's needs. Her professional expertise and answers to our questions were excellent . Choua lead the installation and did efficient work as well as did Willie. The owner Bob came by at the beginning of the job. The removal of the old system and installation of the new was completed in a single day. The job cost was very reasonable. Wortman's work and equipment have been high quality and performance. They have exceeded our expectations..

I have used Wortman for over 15 yrs and have found them to be dependable, professional and very responsive to my needs. My most recent experience involved several service calls to find and fix all the problems - Benji was my service person and he was great! I would recommend Wortman highly.

My AC needed to be serviced per an inspection report. I was able to schedule a service call easily and without much wait. Ahmad was our technician. He was curteous, fast, and did the job right. He documented exactly what we needed in order to show that the findings of the inspection report had been corrected. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Choua, Willie, Zach & Hugo, were a great installation team with wonderfully positive and engaging dispositions. The install was projected to take 2 days, these guys stayed late on day one and were finished by 10 am the next day! Good work ethic and positive attitudes! I highly recommend Wortman Central Air Conditioning Co.! From Virginia in sales to this team of installers what a great experience. They installed the highly rated American Standard Heat and Air unit (Consumer Reports, 2019) at a great price.

Our 41-year-old unit quit in mid-August. I asked 3 different companies come to the house and give me a quote. All were prompt and courteous. However, the lady from Wortman was more interested in helping us get the best system for us. I felt like the others were selling me, and she was asking questions and trying to pinpoint the best solution. Fortunately there was an opening the next day, and two knowledgeable young men had a new system up and running in the afternoon. They thoroughly swept up the mess (our HVAC system is in the center of the house). Not a scratch on our hardwood floors! I am so glad I called Wortman! It’s rare anymore that a company earns a perfect score, but Wortman did. They’re awesome!

Very efficient and pleasant with knowledgeable professional technicians. Needed a new central air. Got 4 estimates and Wortman was very competitive. They installed the original unit that lasted over 20 years. The work was accomplished as scheduled and on time.
Followup city inspection was accomplished last Friday. I was impressed with the intelligent questions Eak asked the city inspector. He was clearly trying to get a more precise understanding of the city's requirements.
Overall Very Pleased with this experience.

Wortman has been consistently excellent, both in customer service and value. I have used them exclusively for seasonal checkups for years, and they provide timely, courteous service with knowledgeable technicians. This week, Ahmad (25 years' experience) diagnosed an internal malfunction in the upstairs cooling system that wouldn't allow the system to cool below 78 degrees. Despite their busy schedule in the July heat, Wortman was able to get parts/labor and solved the problem in less than 24 hours. Fabulous company who always takes care of their customers.

I was very pleased with the service that I received. Virginia showed me a few different A/C systems that would meet my needs, and was also able to get me 2 separate rebates. Tyler, David and Colton did a great job with the installation, and were professional and courteous. The crew chief David demonstrated the new thermostat, gave a thorough explanation of how the new system performs and made sure that all of my questions were answered. I highly recommend their company and service--Great job!!

My experience with Wortman Central Air was great on all fronts. The sales team took their time to understand my needs, built a custom plan based on my needs and implemented it to perfection. They mentioned early on that once the work order is final that there wouldn't be any additional charges for things. I was skeptical at first, but they stood by it. There were quite a few additional things that needed to be taken care of and they never asked for another dime. If you need anything related to heating and air, I highly recommend giving them a call!

I have received amazing care from this company. Any time that I have had questions they have been very prompt to answer. They replaced my complete Heating & AC System and it feels so nice in the house now. The crew put in a 12 hour day the first day to ensure we had heat that night as it dropped to 24 degrees that night. Very professional crew and excellent workmanship. Highly recommend them.
