Well my daughter is still waiting for them to actually do some work they stay for an hour then don't show up for weeks. This company is a joke and I'm sure all these reviews are bogus.

I am thrilled. I left an e-mail request on Urban's web site. Half an hour later, a courteous repair man was at my door. Problem solved quickly . Good price. I made a good choice.

I used this company to install my NEW furnace and A/C with 10 year warranty August 2016, call on Feb.23 2018 due to condensation problem in my furnace, the lady pick up the phone and take down all my information,week later some guy called me to booked appointment the week after at1:30pm, it is okay and I wait, on the same date of the service the guy called me around 12:00pm say he won't able to make it, he will call me the next day to set something up, that call never come, after years........end up used different company fixed it,
They are small company only 3 or 4 person works there, the Dad, Son and some other guy smoke like its no tomorrow. YOU CAN NOT TRUST THEM WHEN YOU NEED SERVICE.
The lady who will pick up the phone (the owner's wife I think) always gives you a run around.
We put this post out to let every one know our bad experience with this Urban heating and cooling.

Wrong main gas valve installed..should be slow opening not fast opening. This error compromises all seals and heat exchanger. Had to replace the furnace. Very rude on phone..since they must enjoy adding insult to injury. Any HVAC GUY should know that mistake could have blown up furnace. Not cool to witness blowback. Jeez

Urban Heating and Cooling took care of the installation of all heating/cooling components for our new home construction. Excellent service, reliable and easy to work with. They installed an air conditioner over 20 years ago in another home and were glad they were available this time too. Thank you once again to everyone at Urban - especially Kris, Ryan & Steve!

This goes back to 2004 when I wanted to replace my 30 year old furnace. The owner gave me a good price for a Rheem and at that time Consumer Reports rated this product very high. Unfortunately not any more. The good part is this furnace has never had a single problem. The bad part is the quality of the installation. I came home one day and the furnace had been left sitting on my driveway. I dragged it into my garage until one installer showed up. He dragged the furnace through my entrance and proceeded to bounce it down the stairs into the furnace room. Later I heard this pounding and the installer was using screwdriver and a hammer to cut holes in the furnace. Very unprofessional. Then the owner's sun showed up and the problems started. I told him I did not want the automatic humidifier as I had the house inspected for rebate pruposes and as this new furnace constantly brought in fresh air from outside there was no need. The owner's son got upset and said that the price quoted was too low and said I didn't need an intake pipe as he didn't use one and it was unnecessary. I said the furnace requires this. They were packing up to leave in a hurry and I said not so fast. They had not sealed all the duct work and you could feel and hear air leaking all over the room. I took him ourside and showed him where the installer had damaged my aluminum siding with his hole saw. No offer to fix the damage caused.

At that time there was no internet or website and I checked years later but their website did not allow reviews.

A few years ago I took up an offer from Enwin for a new thermostat in return for allowing them to control my temperature at peak times. When the electrician came to install the thermostat he looked at my furnace and told me that Urban had not replace the wiring for this furnace as it had a two speed fan motor. I had to pay them $100 to replace the required wiring.

Rude, Argumentative, Incompetent. Fortunately the furnace is great.

I had another company come out to repair my furnace on 4 different
occasions. The problem did not go away in spite of putting in many
new parts that did not solve the problem.
When Ron Mclean from Urban was called he spent some time on the
problem and finally resolved the issue and I now have a furnace that
runs perfectly again. I have never seen a technician with such a fine
work ethic and determination to solve a problem that other companies
could not. I am not only grateful to this company on their superior skills
but will confirm they will far exceed your expectations.

A few weeks ago you may have noted that I wrote a review on Urban heating as I was becoming frustrated with an installation that took place 2 years ago. I have to say that after I reached out to the Urban team they responded as quickly as they could. They came out to the house and quickly corrected the situation and got me up and running. Great follow up and a real positive experience.

Urban Heating responded promptly when we needed a speedy replacement of a broken hot water tank. The serviceman was excellent. He installed the new hot water tank quickly and left the work space with no garbage left behind. We have used this company for over 25 years and have always been pleased with their outstanding service. Thank you once again

Very quick to respond. I had a leak in my furnace and they showed up the next day to replace it. Very reasonable rates. Seems like a family run company which i always support. Everyone was professional and so far had no issues. Everyone was polite that i spoke to.
Definitely recommend Urban for furnace replacements.

We dealt with Kyle, he was professional and friendly. He came out 2 days before our appt. because in his words, ",It was too hot to be without a/c and he was in the area. We have a geothermal unit and not everyone can work on them. Thank you Kyle!

Good luck getting any warranty or repairs to your units. We have had nothing but problems with heating and cooling. Had to call another company to repair our furnace and air conditioning because he wouldn’t return phone calls or show up. We have spent thousands of dollars out of pocket. Replaced a furnace motor last year. Unit was only 6 years old. Multiple issues with a high end furnace and central air. I wouldn’t even give this guy a one star rating. Now we have no choice but to buy another unit this year. Stay away!!!

Furnace died the other day during the cold front. Called and booked an appointment to get an estimate to get our furnace and AC unit replaced. They never showed up. Don't waste your time. Apparently they don't need the business.

Kyle came out this morning to fix my heat pump. Kyle made me feel confident that he is going to fix it where others couldn't. After couple of hours out in very cold weather, hooray 🎉, it was fix. Kyle was very professional and respectful. Nothing but high rating for this company. Looking forward to working with them again.
