Had an overall great experience with J & F. The quote was very reasonable to trim two trees in my backyard (half of what a different company quoted). The arborist that did the assessment seemed knowledgeable and honest. They were able to schedule work only 2 days after the initial assessment and did a great job. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Lots going on at our household in preparation for a remodel for our mother with Alzheimer’s. J&F Tree Service went beyond the call of duty and came out right away once we figured out that yet another tree needed to be removed. Their work was over and done in just a few hours.

I would without hesitation recommend anyone J&F Tree Service Inc and their crew for any tree removal large or small. Professional, personal, quick, clean and efficient. This is the 3rd time we have used their service and I will call them out if we ever need a fourth! Outstanding job!

We had originally hired another tree service and they called us the morning of at the last minute and told us they couldn't come out. We
were very unhappy as we scheduled way ahead of time to come during our vacation. We then had to scramble and called a couple tree services and explained our situation and they all were booked out at least a month. We then found J & F Tree Service and they sent out someone immediately. His name was Dan and he was very friendly and accommodating. He did his absolute best to work us in during his workers busy schedule. We were totally amazed that they went out of their way to fit us in the same day we called fir help! The team was very quick and professional and finished topping 2 trees and cleaned everything with all professional equipment, all within an hour. We will highly recommend Dan and his crew at J & F Tree Service to anyone who asks us for an excellent tree service!

I noticed some branches falling in my yard after a recent wind storm. I asked a friend of mine for a recommendation and he suggested contacting J & F Tree Service.

They came out for an estimate and gave me some good ideas about how to handle the issue. When it came time to do the work, the team came out and got right to it. They made quick work of the job and left after cleaning up.

It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their trees.

We are very pleased with the service we received from J&F Tree and would highly recommend them! After speaking to their office to request an estimate (really nice woman, wish I could remember her name to post here), Dan called back very quickly and came out to provide the estimate (he was great too!). Later that day the crew came out and got the job done perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the result of the trimming of the trees over our roof and cutting back another that had some dead branches. They left the area clean and the price was reasonable. It was an easy process with exceptional service and made my day to get this done so quickly. Thanks Dan and the J&F team!

I contacted J&R Tree Services almost a year ago, got a quote and even had someone come out to mark my trees. They scheduled a date last August to trim my trees. Waited for hours for them to arrive, just to receive a call cancelling my appointment and that they will call back to reschedule. I am still waiting for my call back seven months later.

Update: J&R you probably can’t find my name because your estimator did not write down my name on the estimate, when I offered my name to make the estimate more accurate, he declined.

Furthermore, it’s interesting how your own staff are leaving reviews.

I had a maple tree that grew too tall and started blocking my solar panels. I called J&F who were very pleasant to work with on the phone. They came out and removed the tree and the stump in the same visit VERY quickly. The tree surgeon was very precise where he fell the tree, managed not to hit the house, very impressive. Then they cleaned up nicely and even made sure not to trample my wife’s flowers. Great job! Really pleased with the entire experience.

My husband and I had a tree removed and several trees trimmed and princes. We also had a small hedge row taken out in front of the house.

I have used J & F Tree Service for 3 jobs and they will be the first that I call in the future. Jon was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. It was clear the crew knew how to trim trees such that they maintained their shape and were not damaged. They were carful not to step on other plants (I have many) and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Pricing was very fair. i would highly recommend J& F Tree Service to others.

Dan and his crew were amazing! I will never have to look for another tree company again!! They did a great job removing two trees for us and trimming two others. The price was quite reasonable. I seem to recall their bid came in lower than others but at the end of the day, what sealed the deal for us was their communication, professionalism, and responsiveness - Dan especially! He took the time to talk through and understand the results we desired with the trimming and I never felt rushed. He is very kind, knowledgeable, and experienced. The crew cleaned up well and got the job done quickly but with attention to detail and safety. Thank you!

Excellent response time with a fair quote. They tested some new equipment which will only improve the service in the future as the gain some experience with it. Highly recommend.

Had two dead Noble firs and one Doug fir removed. Doug Fir was previously topped and in close proximity to structures. J & F’s crew did a efficient and safe job of removing and cleanup of all three trees in a shorter time than was estimated. The cost was very competitive as well. Highly recommended.

Our experience with J & F Tree Services was fantastic and we strongly recommend them. Even though it was rainy and the day before Thanksgiving, Dan walked our property with us giving input into which of our trees were still viable and which needed to go for safety reasons. It was fewer trees than we’d feared. He’s extremely knowledgeable and explained the pros and cons and the possible consequences for the surrounding trees. He developed a bid for the work right then, and we were delighted that it included each piece of the job priced out and explained. His crew was able to come out the next week and took down all 7 trees just as he’d described in only one day. They stacked the firewood in the shed, and did an outstanding job with the clean-up. The professionalism and attention to detail of J & F Tree Services is exceptional. We are very glad we found them!

I did a very positive review after work this summer. At that time the new heavy machine they had damaged our driveway (see current picture). I communicated with them (phone calls, text, mail) to let them know about the damage and make sure they protected the drives for new customers. I have heard absolutely nothing back after several months. It's important that a company both do good work and that they reply to customer concerns. I'm very sorry, but can't really continue to work with them.

Prior review: This is the second time we have had J&F work on our trees. They did a great job trimming a number of large trees. I appreciated Larry's work as he estimated what we needed to have done. Carlos and the team were responsive to my requests and very thorough in cleanup!

The owner (John) was able to visit my home the same day that I called for an appointment. He provided welcome and expert advice on my tree situation and gave me a very reasonable quote. His team was able to come the very next day to remove a dead tree, remove a problem tree, and remove large branches that were crowding the roof of my house. The team also cleared away some old wood debris and afterwards did a thorough cleanup of the grounds. They did an excellent job, and the yard and trees have never looked better.

I called to get an inspection and the owner (John) called me back right away. He was able to come out within the hour and was very knowledgeable and personable. As luck would have it, his crew was in the area and had just completed another job. They were able to come out that same day to do the work. John was very reasonable on the price and they got to work right away.

The crew were very fast and efficient in their work. They did a great job with the removals, cleaned up everything (including some extra brush a had), and were done in a few hours.

I requested a quote to remove a tree in my backyard on a Sunday evening and got a return call the next morning. John came and quoted a very reasonable price and I immediately accepted it. The crew came midafternoon and removed the tree without any problems, in spite of the tight quarters. I am impressed with their professionalism and recommend them highly.
