I hired Peter (from Peter's Tree Service) and Tyler (from Lawn With Care) to remove15+ limbs from an immense Douglas Fir tree in my neighbor's yard. The goal was to remove all branches overhanging the deck. They did an amazing job! There is a narrow space between the deck and the fence and each limb was lowered precisely so that neither my deck or the fence was compromised. They also provided advice to shape & maintain the Japanese Maple in the front of the house. I thoroughly recommend their services!

I have an 85 ft. elm tree nearing the end of its life with a large branch hanging over the neighbor's yard. Peter talked with both me & my neighbor to answer our questions and recommend the best course of immediate action to address our safety concerns. He was able to work me in between larger jobs. I was away from the house when they arrived (they arrived much more quickly than I anticipated). My neighbor said they were a very pleasant and polite crew who were efficient and cleaned up very well. I plan to have the other branches trimmed soon.

Peter was great! In addition to doing a free assessment at our church, I called Peter to take down two large standing dead alders, in addition to a large fir stuck in a crook of two other trees. He was quick, very reasonable, personable, and obviously very knowledgeable. And he's a dog guy!

Peter is fantastic to work with. We've had them out multiple times for different projects and they always do an incredible job. They turned a large and pretty gnarly looking pin oak into a good looking tree and gave us better house clearance. They've also done pruning on all our other trees and made them all look great. At our previous home we had many Douglas Firs that needed limbing up, health monitoring, sometimes tree removal and removal of dangerous branches.
At our new home they removed some decrepit arborvitae. We also had trees that the prior owner had maintained poorly so he looked them all over. He then limbed up some Douglas Firs and fruit trees (apples and a pear tree).

They are very good at identifying problems, working to save trees when possible, and dealing with them efficiently when it's not possible. On-time, very transparent, efficient and great work as promised.

All three guys listened to me re being careful about not damaging my water feature just under the Aspen trees that were removed. They also asked me whether I thought the trimming of the Mt Ash was adequate. They cut the log rounds to my specification so that I can split and burn them in my wood stove once they dry in a few years.

General tree has applied pre-emergent for weed prevention for us since March of 2016. It is applied once in the spring and once in the fall and is the best thing we have every done for our yard. An investment that we will never give up!!! Not to mention that the people that do this application for us are dedicated to us and the maintenance of our yard. They are excellent!!!!!!

All of the staff that we dealt with were very professional, knowledgeable, and provided detailed answers to our questions when asked. The Tree Trimming/Pruning crew that arrived at my home were on time and 3 very nice young gentlemen who provided us with details prior to and following the trimming/pruning process. I have been using General Tree Service since about 1987 for monthly service on my landscape. I have seen many changes through the years. The person overseeing and doing most of the planting on my property for many of those years was Larry. He retired this year. They just removed a sick 60' tree from the backside of my property and did a very good job. But I have noticed some things have not been kept up as well during the past year as in years before. I think this is due to transition of personnel and me needing to communicate with the new people in charge of my account. That being said they could be doing a better job letting me know when personnel change and keeping the lines of communication open. I am hopeful things will improve this summer. In the past I would have had no hesitation to recommend this company to others. Now I am in a "wait and see" mode. I am optimistic that they will keep things together and that the quality of their service will continue to be dependable and noteworthy.

Paul promptly gave us a cost estimate to prune two magnolia trees and Mike did a great job with the pruning. Reasonable price and great people. Highly recommend this company!

To my amazement, the President personally intervened to address my concerns regarding an additional invoice I received in error. With remarkable efficiency and care, he promptly resolved the issue on the very same day.
