The crew did a fantastic job on a 100 year old silver maple that required some specialized equipment and navigating overhead power lines. They were communicative and respectful. The tree looks great, healthy, and is clearly responding well to the prunning.

We are very pleased with the service provided by General Tree Service. They are responsive and professional. We were particular pleased with the observations Rhena made about mites being very active in some additional trees, and the visit by Juan to inspect and offer a solution. We highly recommend General Tree Service.

Paul was very kind to come look at the mature trees in my yard and give me very helpful advice. No labor was needed at the time, but he still came out and was friendly and helpful. They will have my business when I do need work done.

The crew did a great job removing broken/dead/crossing tree branches from a large fir tree. They came on time and did a great cleanup job. The crew was professional and friendly. I was very happy with their service and would gladly recommend them.

GTS is not inexpensive, but their personalized service, competence, professionalism, communication, attention to detail, follow-up and reliability is excellent. We have been working with them for years and they just keep getting better. Mike works in our garden and supervises others who do as well; it always feels like a “hands on” consistent approach that means so much. We never feel like we are “being serviced” by random strangers. Iris is the garden designer at GTS and her design work and help on miscellaneous projects has been stellar. Other staff whom I have never met but have just talked to on the phone have all been great. AND their employees all seem to enjoy working there and most have been there for years! They seem like kind of a model for how to run a successful business. Five stars!!!

They did a great job of taking down two of the trees along our driveway. They were very careful and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional arborists.

General Tree/Savatree always does a great job of pruning our trees. They’re pleasant to work with, communicate well, and are very tidy! We’ve been using them for years!

General Tree Service did an outstanding job taking down three trees in decline. One was an 80 foot Western Red Cedar that was in my back yard, that was not easy to get to. They showed up on time and finished when promised. Their crews are top notch, I highly recommend General Tree Service.

General Tree Service is a great company and did a much more than satisfactory job for us. We needed to have five invasive trees removed from our back yard and poisoned to stop their roots from continuing to grow. Two years later and no roots have appeared. General Tree Service did an excellent job for us. You can trust their work.

I met with Juan to go over the work I needed—deadheading a lilac; removing an invasive plant; pruning 3 overgrown shrubs; and shearing and topping a very large hedge. Juan was very responsive to all my questions and very thorough in his assessment of the work to be done.
The actual work was done by Bryan and Pete. They were extremely pleasant and easy to talk to, and did an excellent job in a very timely manner.
I have used General Tree Service for many years, and am always pleased with the quality of their work and with all the people in the company with whom I have worked over the years.

My experience with the people coming and spraying our trees was excellent. All the folks were good and explained when I had a question. I am not going to have my cedars sprayed any longer since it is not helping and the limbs are dying. So I am just going to let the trees die.

General Tree did tree work (trimming, thinning, getting rid of dead branches) at our home on July 18th. They did an outstanding job on the work and the clean-up was superior. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone that needs tree service.

This is the first year I've had fruit on all three of my trees. There were so many, sadly some went to waste as we're old and don't climb ladders. Our tech is always so kind and efficient. She makes sure our dog Frank is safe and secure. Next year I hope she gets some of the fruit if there is any on her visits.

The people from General Tree did a great job on our trees and they were freindly, polite and easy to work with. We had trees in our yard that had grown too big, but we didnt want to remove them. General tree was able to trim our trees down to a manageable size and they look much better.

Have been using GTS for a couple of decades now, they do a great job on everything from periodic wellness treatments, to pruning and trimming, to planting services, and of course major removals! Great communications, prompt, friendly, expert! Most notably, in the last two years they've brought back three of my shrubs from the brink of death, two after the big freeze last year, and one 30 year old azalea after the 116 degree heat we had a couple of years ago. All are now thriving and look great!

Tree trimming crew was very careful not to damage area around the trees. They followed the arborist instructions and those from my wife. Very courteous and excellent clean up after completed.

I have been a customer of General Tree Service since 1987. This year this company was sold to SavATree. In past years, General Tree always quoted me a monthly fee for monthly landscape maintenance. If I had anything extra that needed to be done during the year, like plantings, they made me quotes for proposed services and they were always reasonable.
The service has always been great. Since SavATree has taken over, they are now sending me invoices, "piecemeal" instead of one invoice every month. When they took over, I suspected they would raise my prices. I believe they have but since I am paying each time they come out, it is too soon for me to figure out if my average monthly service price has gone up and by how much. I suspect it has gone up.
So far the work is still the same. As far as I can tell they have kept my same team that is handling my account.

SavATree did a fantastic job of cleaning out the dead branches from 3 of our giant Douglas Firs. The bid was very competitive, the arborist was very knowledgeable, the crew followed all safety measures and protected the garden below. They cleaned up very well. All the mess was chipped up and taken away. I even used the deep-root fertilization service These trees need to live a very long time. Thanks for great service.

I had General Tree, out of their Beaverton location, come out a few weeks ago to trim back my Cypress Trees. Ben and his crew did a great job. We discussed my goals and Ben and his crew went to work. They achieved the look I wanted. They were on time, friendly and cleaned up after their work. They did their work for a fair price. I will use them again in the future.

SavATree appears to have done a great job. Thinned , trimmed shaped a maple and plum tree. Hoping to get more fruit from our plum. We shall see. Over all pleased with the work that was done. My only complaint would be lack of communication setting up a date and time frame. We were not in a rush, just wanted a date in the future and I needed to call back to get a date and then a time frame to be home. That was only complaint. Thanks for the service will be calling again in future.
