We are really happy with the quality of all the work done by David and the team at Preferred Landscape Services. They re-built a large retaining wall and re-sculpted and planted the rest of our yard to match our new landscape design. It was a large job and David kept us updated with good communication the whole way through. Leo and the crew were hard-working, respectful, and tidy. The entire team was easy to work with and we love the results. Thank you!

We have used Preferred Landscape for many large and small jobs for over 10 years. They have installed several paver walkways, a paver patio and French drains that addressed significant water issues around our house. They also installed a sprinkler system with a zone for grass and one for a drip line. Dave is always friendly and professional and has been able to help us problem solve drainage issues, while making our landscape look great. His crews are experienced, timely and clean up after finishing a job. We highly recommend Preferred Landscape Services.

Replaced landscape, lighting around pond and pathways. Timely and quality workmanship. Needed to adjust the lights after installation not an issue with the contractor because lights were installed in the daytime.

From the first meeting, Dave was super easy to talk to and supportive of our project. In just a few days, his team installed a retaining wall in the back, laid a paver patio near the front door, and revitalized several landscape beds with new plantings, river rock, and edging stones. We needed to change landscapers and needed to move quickly. They were out to our house within 3 days reviewed the needed services and special projects that come up each year. They are very professional and give us great confidence in their work.

Preferred Landscape has done our weekly maintenance for a few years now and they have been great. They take the time to walk around and make sure all areas are clean, weed free, etc.

Recently I needed a trench dug for another project. They came out and said it might take a couple of days and they bid for that. It took them less time than they thought it might and they charged accordingly for it. I was impressed by their efficiency and quality of the work once again.

We had Preferred Landscape Service pour a concrete sidewalk from front to back and also added two sections of fencing and a new gate to our property. David is very professional to work with and got us bids in a very timely manner. His crew did an excellent job!! We are so happy with the work we are having more fencing replaced and another new gate added!!

Dave is very down to earth and personable. You can tell he is very transparent and honest with his clients with clear and prompt communication throughout, so we all were on the same page on our project from the beginning and all the way through as we made adjustments to our original plan. We had a drain ditch repaired by this company. They workers arrived on time, were polite and informative and did a great job. Our driveway was cleaner when they left then when they arrived. The ditch is doing its job now so the water issue we had has abated. Hoping to get them back for another project soon.

We had an appointment this morning with Geronimo to go over concerns with our lawn. He was very knowledgeable and went over several options with us. Some were things he could do and many were things we can do for ourselves. After taking his time we decided to try the things we can do for the time being. When I offered to compensate him for his time he smiled and said he was happy to do it. When we have a bigger project we will absolutely call him. If your looking for a good job at a fair price he is you man.

We have never had an irrigation system previously until we bought this home. I could tell the system was older and a mishmash of heads and zones. Having zero knowledge of irrigation systems, I took one company’s offer for a free inspection. Of course they gave me a quote and it was 4 figures. So I called Preferred. Based solely on our request, Preferred sent Jose who started fixing everything immediately. Super friendly and efficient. And the price was quite reasonable for doing everything I asked to be done! I highly recommend Preferred Landscaping!

They have been consistent and dependable. I can always rely on them showing up at their designated time to clean, mow and service my yard. They fertilize in the fall and trim back my bushes and plants when needed. The communication is very good as well and my yard looks nice. I am very pleased with the work done.

We had some concrete and synthetic lawn installed in our backyard. Dave and his crew have been so wonderful to work with throughout our landscaping project. Dave made some suggestions that actually saved us money, and during the project, when we had some changes we wanted, Dave completely worked with us on costs and ideas. Their prices are reasonable compared to other quotes we got, and the team always respected us and our property. We will definitely hire them for future projects, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality landscaping at a reasonable price.

Very happy with our patio extension. It was done quickly and expertly. It was exactly what we wanted. My only concern is where the patio meets the lawn some sod had to be removed temporarily. When it was replaced it was higher than the patio creating a tripping hazard. I have already tripped more than once. I would like that fixed.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't very good. I think the problem was mostly communications. Some of it was my own fault for not being more clear. Their foreman had a strong accent and was difficult for me to understand. I never received a written estimate or invoice and lost(apparently) the text I received with the estimate. As a result, I didn't get all the services I thought I was getting and paid a premium price. All of this could have been avoided with better communication.
