Reviews of local pros in Damascus, Oregon

I have used Electro-Wire for since I purchased my home over 30 years ago. The home had old knob and tube wiring and it has been completly rewired in and they have also wired the additions over the years. They have always been friendly and easy to work with. Great customer service and prices. They offer solid and smart suggestions to consider when wiring that have been beneficial to the projects. I highly recommend Electro-Wire

I had purchased a new dryer and it would not connect to my old late 70's home wiring, and feel fortunate to have contacted Electro-Wire for help. Leena came out, determined my wiring could support the newer four wire plug, then installed the plug and even installed the dryer and vent hose! Electro-Wire's pricing is extremely competitive, and Leena's knowledge is superior. NOTE: This is a FIVE STAR company, and the single star Google review you see is a mistake from a party residing in Los Angeles.

I’ve hired this company twice to come out and do some pretty complicated electrical work/fix some shoddy work a previous homeowner (and contractor I hired) did on my new house.

Communication and work quality/attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I got exactly what I needed both times and will absolutely hire them for future projects.

Leena, the business owner & lead electrician, knows her stuff and is great at scaling/helping to prioritize immediate needs vs long term goals/future-proofing your forever home.

Fast friendly service and EXCELLENT prices

Great price and quality work.

They are on time, efficient and affordable. My thanks and appreciation to the Beck Electric team.

They have always given us a good price and great work.

Excellent work installing my EV Charger outlet, a NEMA 14-50 in the garage. Efficient, mounted my charger unit, and extremely satisfied with the final price. 10/10

Beck Electric was AMAZING to work with. We just bought 1950s home and the came in to update fixtures, fix AC, and replace outlets. They were always on time, and did beautiful work!

I've used ProDan twice and both times have been great. They've demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and keen safety awareness. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Trustworthy company.

We basically built a house on top of our house and Prodan Construction took in the challenge. We love our finished home and still bring them out for small projects whenever we can! They do great work!

Prodan Construction did an excellent job for us. They listened to our needs/desires about our attic & garage remodel, communicated well with us throughout the process, and worked with us to keep the project within our budget.

We hired Prodan Construction to remodel 2 bathrooms, replace all our interior doors, install carpet in 1/3 of the house along with baseboards. They were very helpful in helping make sure we always had a working bathroom while assisting to save money by purchasing all the fixtures for both bathrooms at once. Their subcontractors for tile, electrical , carpet and plumbing were amazing. They helped us save money were we could (countertops remnants and doing the painting ourselves) and yet made sure we were able to get the custom cabinets for our bathroom that were exactly what we wanted. They finished earlier than their timeline predicted even with some delays in getting our doors from the manufacturer. They communicated well about when they (or the subs) would be there and worked around our schedules. It did take about 6 months, but that is because we couldn't do both bathrooms at once.

2021:
Fantastic contractors!
I've really struggled to find honest, hardworking, fairly priced, general contractors that have good communication. Prodan checks all these boxes.
They are excellent communicators, easy to work with, and own up to their mistakes (on the very slim chance it happens).
They have handled two manufactured home demolitions, asbestos abatement, a fence build, water utilities work, and some electrical utilities work for me. Without a doubt, they are my go-to guys for anything.

Update 4/26/2025: I'm still pleased to be working with Prodan. They've helped me demolish five manufactured homes and one stick-built home, rebuild a concrete retaining wall, lay new asphalt parking spaces, wood decks/stairs, gutters, manufactured home skirting, wood and chain-link fences, repair and install new electrical services, and install new sewer and water lines.
Joe, Mike, and Emily are all fantastic to work with. They do quality work, are always professional and kind to my tenants on-site, they keep me well informed about what’s going on, and I never have to worry about unfair prices. I can’t say enough good things about them.

We just wrapped up an in-ground pool removal project with Prodan Construction and we feel genuinely grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Joe and Mike on the project. Exceptional quality of work, safety conscious, experienced, knowledgeable and personable. Joe and Mike worked both smart and hard making sure the end result was exactly what we wanted. They sought out opportunities to save us money, saved us from making some mistakes with our decisions, and gave us some solid advice for finishing up the project.

Joe only uses subcontractors he knows and trusts to do their work with the same care and integrity that he does. They proved their personal and professional integrity over the course of the project over and over again. I'd hand Joe the keys to my house without a second thought. Give Prodan a call, talk with Bryan about your project and hire these guys-- you'll save money and be completely satisfied with the results. We look forward to using them for all our future projects.

I hired Prodan Construction to handle the demolition of a house in Gresham. From the beginning they were very professional and thoroughly explained the process. They gave us a detailed bid and handled the Asbestos sampling process quickly.

When the project ran into an unexpected glitch, Prodan did everything they could to help us, with creative solutions and workarounds. Although we chose not to move forward with the demo, through no fault of Prodan's, they were extremely understanding, and worked with us to wrap up loose ends.

I highly recommend this company, and would definitely use them on any future project I may have.

Highly recommend, they do excellent work.

Always professional when called to do service work on my apartment.

Always on time. Very professional. I extremely happy with their service.

Great customer service! Went out of his way to help, making sure he was providing the correct and best answers.

Able to get to my job on his schedule in only a couple of days. Showed up on time and fixed my problem .
