Kenney could not have been more professional! We had a gas range delivered by Costco and they refused to install it citing bogus reasons like, "your flooring needs to be completed under the range" when a previous range was in that spot for over 20 years. Kenney came, assessed the situation, and helped install a new gas supply line and install our new slide in range. He explained everything and helped to troubleshoot a height differential in our countertops. Seamless service and super friendly. We will definitely be referring Kenney and this company to all our friends and family. Thanks guys!!

B&G has done a number of things for me over the years, from re-piping an old 1925 house to cutting concrete and putting drain lines in the floor of a basement. Sewer repairs and everything in-between. Most recently Kenney came out and fixed a drain issue under a kitchen sink that has been fixed wrong a half dozen times before by others, re-did it from top to bottom and I think we finally have it right this time. Also switched out a couple of shut-off valves and a hose bib just to make sure. When he asked for a review I realized how much the entire team has done over the years that I had never done so and felt I must give them all a thumbs up. Thanks to the entire B&G organization.

Had the B & G guys out today for a challenging dishwasher install and they did such a great job. Especially considering the tricky nature of the job. Great people that did a professional job in reasonable amount of time for a great price.

After purchasing a new kitchen sink, we called B&G to install it. Kenny was on time and installed the new sink quickly and it works well. The bonus is that he recommended re-configuring the pipes under the sink because supposedly the earlier home owner installed them wrong. Now our garbage disposal does not shoot a gross fountain of food and foam into the secondary sink anymore. Thanks Kenny!

Very please with the repair service done by Kenny & Chris. We had issues with our toilet which involved the float that goes up & down instead of the “ball type” float which we could have changed. They found some other issues that needed repair &/or tuning. Service was done in good time. They explained what was done. We have used their services previously & were very pleased then.

Highly recommend B&G Water Heaters. Kenney & Kyle were great. They were knowledgeable, professional, & upfront. Not only were they a pleasure to do business with, the price for the work done was very very reasonable. Definitely will be using them again for any of my future services!

We hired B&G to install mini-split heat pump/AC units in our home. They used the highest quality products for the installation and provided us with all of the information about using them and the warranty. It took them less than a day to complete the project. They were incredibly efficient and conscious of the pets in our home. Support this outstanding local business by hiring them for your next plumbing or AC project.

Thank you B&G for your you hard work!

Fair warning do not do business with this company. The technicians were not prepaired not only once, but twice when they came out to the property. I had another company come out that wasn't able to do the job do to a difficult location, but they located, and marked out the potential issue spot. B&G's tech wanted to go off those marks. I asked them if this was wise and that there was a mistaken locate that was done early that resulted in an expensive repair due to a data line that ran close to the issue, and that B&G would be responsible for using the previous company's locate, though also in the same breath told the B&G tech we had no problems and would prefer if they did their own scope, and locate of the issue to ensure better success. The Technician lied about the situation said that we were threatening them and combative to his supervisor. When I spoke to the supervisor he didn't want to hear the other side of the story was extremely rude, unprofessional, and denied the job.

B&G re-piped my entire house, replacing 63-year-old galvanized pipes with modern piping in just two days for a very reasonable price (cheaper than anyone else that bid the job) and they were professional, clean and responsive. The result is that hot water comes to my facets in seconds rather than minutes. I can't imagine asking for more than B&G provided.

Seems like all of my emergencies since I lost my husband have brought me to my knees. This started out the same way then I called B & G. The voice on the other end was kind and helpful. He had time to help me and sent 2 lovely young men to rescue my day. They were polite, efficient, very personable and they figured out what was wrong very quickly. Even though it was a Saturday the cost was very reasonable. Thank you
    B & G, Happy New Year!

Excellent customer service. I had an issue with a couple faucets and these guys came out the next day to fix the problem. I highly recommend and will be using this company in the future. Thanks Ryan and Rob.

Having previously hired B&G for a toilet repair and sink faucet installation, we called them again for a leaky outside hose spigot and interior faulty shutoff valve. After an initial mix-up on scheduling, they arrived Monday afternoon ahead of schedule. Asher and Joe couldn't have been nicer. Asher explained what he thought would be the best fix for the problem vs. a more extensive (and likely more expensive) option. Thanks B&G!

I was moving into a new place having just arrived in Portland. The two plumbers who came over were friendly, efficient and went the extra mile.

While they were waiting for the water heater to drain down, they actually helped me move some of my furniture. This was totally unexpected and very much appreciated!

I tried to tip the helper and he was embarrassed and said, "you do not need to do that." Well, the good thing about being me is that there is a lot I do not have to do - and there are things I get to do. One of those things was actually tipping this kind person AND taking the time to write this review.

While I did not hire this company, I am grateful that the management company did ... bodes well for the future that they hire quality vendors.

Have NG water heater that the pilot light keeps going out. Called and they came out that evening. The 2 gentlemen was very nice, checked everything out and figured it was just not getting enough air in the room. I added a new vent in the wall and it has helped. Since they didn't do any 'work' and they knew I had 3 other companies out already (all with different explanations that cost me over $1000) I think they took pity on me and didn't charge me. Really appreciated and will be calling on them when it is time to repair or replace it.

B&G Excavation and Plumbing fixed our home water pressure problem. We had 3 other plumbers attempt and fail to figure it out. B&G tested the water pressure on both sides of our water line (at the meter, and at the house), flushed the water line to clear any sediment, searched for a buried PRV, found it, and adjusted it. Problem solved. They came prepared to replace things (PRV, shut-off valve, or water line) if needed but proceeded methodically to avoid unnecessary work. I highly recommend contacting B&G Excavation and Plumbing.

Our gas hot water heater sprang a leak on a Friday evening. We called the company that we had originally got the tank from, and they could not come out to the house until Sunday. We called B&G and they came out early Saturday morning. The brought and installed a new heater. They were very professional, knowledgable and courteous. We would recommend them to anyone.

First time using B & G. Needed a small job done on a toilet. Very happy with the good service and work done. Kenny did a great job of explaining what the problem was and I appreciated that. It's nice to know I have a plumbing company I feel I can rely on and trust for any future problems.

Amazing! I called inquiring about a water heater repair and felt he thoroughly explained my options. He even offered to come by just to take a look. My husband and I decided to purchase a new one and have it installed, and he and his son showed up within the hour. They were really friendly; installed the new heater and hauled the old one away. I'm so happy my family won't have to start our morning with cold showers. Thanks for showing up on a whim, even at 9pm!

We had tile installed in some bathrooms which required us to remove and disconnect two Toto toilets. We called (George Morlan plumbing recommended them) on B&G to reinstall the toilets and to look at another toilet that was in need of repair. Both Kenny and Asher are journeyman plumbers. They both showed up on time and were very professional. They explained everything they were doing. They seem to really know the Toto toilet brand, which was helpful in the reinstall. We also then replaced a 35 year old toilet with a new Toto that they were able to get to us promptly and were able to get it installed at the same time. Not only would we use them again but would not hesitate to recommend them.

Instead of fixing our wate heater, they wanted us to completely replace it. Kept pushing things like our water heater is strange and we will always have issues with repairs. Said the part we needed to fix it was next to impossible to get and would take 2 weeks, all while pushing a new water heater on us. Our water heater is not strange, we got it from Home Depot and is only 4 years old. We started looking for the part ourselves and noticed that we could have it the next day. That's when we realized this company was scamming us. We called another company that was able to fix it the next day for $250. This company did no work and charged us 195$. They did say they wanted to charge us $390 for the labor of looking for the part.
