About 10 days ago I called Cutting Edge about getting a landscape estimate. The voice mail message said to contact them via email for a faster response. They never did respond.

Not interested in working with a company that will not respond when I have taken the time to contact them.

This is the 2nd, YES 2nd, time I have used Cutting Edge Landscape & Design. Not many folks will repeat business with a company that fell short of expectations, CE exceeded mine ! Nick, Justin and the team executed the process creatively, expertly, on time, and within budget. The neighborhood has an HOA and they cleaned up at the end of each day, keeping disruption to a minimum.
If you're on the fence (they do fences too !) about choosing Cutting Edge, do it, you'll dig (pun intended) the results !

We had Cutting Edge do a major remodel to our backyard. It was quite unusable prior to their work. We had a block wall & beautiful fence installed, as well as soil & sand brought in to level the yard. These people know what they are doing, are very professional & when they say they will be there, they are. Amazing & wonderful company.

HIGHLY recommend! We were looking for an overhaul on our smaller front yard. I looked up local landscapers w/ design experience. Cutting Edge Landscape & Design was among the top suggested, so I clicked to find out more. Compared to other companies, I found their website precise and easy to follow. I especially appreciate their preferred contact method, by their contact us/ email platform. This allowed the owners to respond to me faster than leaving a voicemail at their office to be returned later. After a few emails back and forth with Nick about the scope of work we were looking to accomplish, he personally drove by less than 24 hrs later to give us quote on the discussed project. Nick, Justin and all their crew members were so nice, honest, fair, hard working, and followed through with our new beautifully transformed yard. Our family can now sit and enjoy the outdoors! What can I say other than, Ron and his crew are THE yard transformation specialists. Very professional and very proud of his work. Ron sold me when he told me if he couldn't help on a project within my budget he would tteach me enough of the lingo to protect myself from being ripped off by another, scalper/ scammer. This guy not only won my business but also won myh vouch.

Maybe the designing is good, but this guy does not know how to complete a project.

Ed did a paver patio for us. He was very professional and did a great job. We are ready for the next section to be added on. We will be calling him back for that.

Have hired them for a number of jobs over the years including paver patios, fence, retaining wall, sod, and landscaping. Always had a positive experience. Price and timeline were as quoted and they provided good ideas about design and details.

Perennial Landscaping is my go-to landscape maintenance company in Eugene. I needed my house pressure washed, the yard cleaned up and mulched, and I was struggling to find someone to help me. I called Perennial Landscaping and I was put on the schedule for the next day! Perennial Landscaping is professional, reasonably priced, and very helpful!

We had Ed do sod for us. I got 4 other quotes and he was the most affordable. He did a great job and finished the job as planned. I would use him again if I needed something else done and would recommend him to my friends and family.

Ed created a paved courtyard and low defining walls for us and a curved, paved path. It's beautiful! Ed was wonderful to work with, had creative ideas for us, worked hard and completed the project ahead of time. We would absolutely hire him again.

I'm a repeat customer and as always Perennial Landscaping did great work!. We had a big job - paver patio, retaining walls, sod installation - and the work was done on the timeline and for the price estimated. We're so excited to plant our summer garden and enjoy our new backyard.

I hired Ed to begin a landscaping project for me last spring, 2021, to build a flagstone walkway with ledge stones meandering through my backyard. I wanted the end project to give it a “park like” feel with the idea of eventually having him put in a water feature for me this spring.

Not only did he do an excellent job last spring, but this year he out-did himself! This year’s project included building the most amazing pondless water feature in the corner by my terrace with natural boulders that were already on my property. In addition, Ed completed another walkway along the perimeter of my back fence line and installed path lights to illuminate the border at night.

The end result was beyond my expectations. My backyard looks like a beautiful park now. I feel like I’m living in paradise! Last year, I jokingly told Ed that one day my yard will be featured in “Sunset Magazine”. After the amazing job he did this year, I think that could be a real possibility!

I highly recommend Ed Vario as one of the best landscape designers in our community. He’s punctual, efficient, imaginative, and creative with his ideas. I give him 5 stars+++!

Ed did a FABULOUS job! He was professional, courteous & delivered what he promised! In addition to taking out the grass & putting in pavers/patio, he also took up old pavers & leveled that area & then replaced. I chose that option to it didn’t cost a lot more New pavers pretty close match, looks a bit different cause of rain. Pictures worth 1,000 words. See below.
