Baxter Plumbing & Rooter are AWESOME!!!
We made an appointment, given ETA, received a courtesy call ‘they’re on their way’ and they brought equipment ready to work, and did a terrific job on our gutter drain issues needing cleared, and finding our drain lines weren’t connected to the street but are setup as a ‘dry well system.’
(The gutter installers had left off one drain spout due to plugged drain hole and all rain last week went into one dry well creating a very small bubbling brook :))
Thank you to all, Brena in the office & the experts, Scotty & Lenny for their great service and expertise!👏👏👏
I highly recommend Baxter Plumbing & Rooter for exceptional work at a reasonable cost! Five Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
I hired Baxter Plumbing for two jobs. One was a tub and shower install and the other was a toilet install.
On the toilet install I requested that they use a flange spacer for a better toilet seal. However, when I replaced the toilet last weekend, I noticed that they did not add the spacer as I had asked.
I called the office to ask for an adjustment to the bill and Tracy was very rude. I told her that I had done research online about how a spacer is a secure way to add height to a recessed closet flange and she sarcastically said to someone else in the office - Oh, he went to the online messaging boards.
She then told me that despite my explicit request, the plumber knows what they’re doing and they would not adjust the bill.
She also told me that I should have combed through the invoice within 30 days to ensure that the part was included.
I’ve also had issues with our bathtub creaking and settling - which has caused a gap between the tub and the grout. So I checked out under the tub and noticed they didn’t use mortar when they set it - which it clearly states to use in the manufacturers instructions.
Overall, I was offered a half hour of free labor on the next job. Unfortunately, it was too big of a headache for me to justify using them again. -
Absolutely the best! Very respectful and professional. The plumber was on a different level than most . He was extremely knowledgeable and I learned more in 20 minutes about my plumbing than I did 20 plus years as the homeowner. I will definitely use Baxter plumbing again.

My second post.
Baxter pluming showed up and did a great job. The Plummer that arrive was very nice and professional. My first impression was not so great because of how they schedule there appointments but as far as quality of work go’s I can’t complain. I would recommend them.
My first post ;
I had my first appointment scheduled for today after waiting a few weeks for an appointment. Baxter would not give me a appointment time. When they called today on the scheduled date for the fix I was in the shower but I was able to call them back within 10 minutes of the missed call. Yes only 10 minutes. When I talked to them I was told that because I did not pick up the phone when they called they rescheduled the plumber to another job. By doing this they make the costumer feel as if they are now being punished. So we had no idea what time they would be showing up and if you miss there call they bump you off of the appointment. Not very professional. Not a great way to build relationships with there customers. I was told that they will try to send someone out to our job today if they have time and if they don’t come today then it is many days out before they would have time again. Let’s see if they show up and if they do a good job. Stay tuned for part 2. -
Woke up this morning and our toilet wouldn’t flush. We only have 1 bathroom in our house. With a 3 year old, that is potty trained, we needed this fixed today. I called 10 places, and when I called Baxter Plumbing they were able to get a technician out this morning. I was expecting them to come out around 12 or 3, and they were able to show up an hour after getting off the phone! Travis was very professional and explained everything in terms that I could understand. The price was very reasonable too! I’ll definitely recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing services!!

We had a delightful experience in working through Baxter. We contacted them about clogged drain issues and to our astonishment they came out that same day. Travis did a great job working with us. He was pleasantly attentive as well as thoughtful and patient in explaining our situation. He was thorough and efficient in the work he did. Baxter hit the bullseye in every way regarding this service for us. We could not be more pleased with their service.

Baxter's arrived and fixed our emergency super fast! We had called to have them fix our HOT water streaming off the underside of the kitchen sink. They replaced two valves and connecting hoses. Well done fellas! I would recommend them if your kitchen floor is suddenly under water!

I explained in detail that I needed to snake the main outet. I was quoted $160. I repeated the quote and asked if that was correct for snaking the main outlet not just to show up. I was assured that was the cost price by Tracy. Scotty showed up 1 1/2 hrs later. But instead of snaking as I had requested, he took my hose and ran my hose down the main outlet in an attempt to clear the line. When it looked like things were running good, he told me he would charge me $160, for using my hose and not snaking it. He told me in order to snake it, it would cost me $226. I told him I was quoted $160. He made several excuses blaming the office secretary for the different price but added that other clients also told him of being quoted a different price, that this wasn't the first time he heard this. I told him that then the office staff should know the correct prices. He blamed the secretary for being ignorant. Claiming that the $160 was if he snaked the toilet. I told him that I specifically asked for the cost to snake the main outlet. When he asked me who told me the quote, I told him Tracy. Turns out Tracy is the owner. Being as I had out of town company, I finally agreed. I told him it usually needed to be done 100 feet. He did maybe 50. Then tried to manipulate me to have him run a camera down the line which would be an additional $ 350 more in addition to the $226 to snake the line claiming that I propably needed to excavate and lay new piping. I paid the $226 in protest, advising that quoting one price and then charging another makes them liars and they should adhere to what the owner quoted me. He then showed me on his laptop the price sheet he has for the various jobs. Funny how the person who quoted me the $160 doesn't know those prices. He advised me that he'd have Tracy call me. She did not. I called Peterson's Plumbing who refered me to Baxter to let them know that they bait and switched me. They advised they would no longer be referring Baxter to other clients.
In response to Tracy's comment.
Tracy, the ONLY way that I would know your name, is because you told me your name when I called and then told me your name again when you called me back to advise that the plummer was on the way.
Scotty DID tell me when I protested his wanting to charge a higher cost, that I wasn't the first person to tell him that they were quoted lower, that other clients also had told him they were quoted a lower price.
You did bait and switch. And that's on you. -
First, I never write reviews. I've had to use Baxter Plumbing about 3-4 times this year for two of my rentals. These guys always come through for me. When you have a rental, you don't have the luxury to wait so they always try and fit me in.
My renters are always happy with the results. Priceless! -
Baxter has been our go-to plumber for two decades. Most recently they repaired a broken water main for us. The job took only about half a day and the workers were friendly, efficient and responsible. We had to wait several days to get them here, but that's common with all the trades in our area. Baxter will always be our automatic choice for plumbing services.

They were able to dispatch someone same day and dispatcher was very communicative. The gentleman who came out was courteous and finished the job in a timely fashion. The bill was accurate for the time he was here and parts involved. Apart from the pipe bursting in the first place, the experience was a good one.

I called Baxter Plumbing in a bit of a crisis; both toilets, upstairs and downstairs, started leaking at the SAME TIME. Paul the plumber came immediately and was elbows-deep in the problem in no time at all. He was so thorough and so effective, and also super polite and amiable! He told me that the downstairs toilet had been leaking for quite some time and showed me the spot where it had stained the floor, and explained what he was doing to solve the problem. He also fixed it so that now it flushes as soon as you depress the handle rather than holding it down for 3.5 seconds exactly. He showed me how the problem was the same upstairs and what bits and bobs he was replacing and why. Despite the embarrassing state of both bathrooms, he remained meticulously professional and never displayed any kind of disgust or judgement. And the price was great, too!!! All in all a 10/10 experience, would recommend.

I had the best experience with Baxter Plumbing and will not only use their services moving forward for my plumbing needs but I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber in the Eugene area.
Booking the appointment was super easy and the woman who helped me (I think her name was Kelli) was so kind and efficient. The plumber showed up on time, immediately went to work and solved the leak immediately. The payment process was easy and the fee was affordable. I am so happy I have finally found a reliable plumber! Baxter is the best! -
My wife and I called Baxter Plumbing after reading the great reviews others had left. We were not disappointed. We had scheduled an appointment and then were pleasantly surprised when we received a call telling us that they had a plumber that was in our area that had finished a job early and they wondered if they could send him right over. Aaron arrived within 15 minutes and did a masterful job for us. He was very professional, polite and engaging. We are impressed with the whole operation from the office staff to the technical work. We highly recommend Baxter Plumbing. Thanks for a great experience.

I have been using Baxter Plumbing for many years and they continue to provide excellent service. The techs are knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. It is obvious that the culture Mike embodies with his team is one of mutual respect and that carries over to their customer interactions. I certainly will continue to call on them for any future issues and highly recommend Baxter Plumbing to anyone seeking outstanding service.

I have never used their plumbing services.
That being said, when one of your employees is driving one of your company vehicles with your company logo on it they are directly representing your company. That means that when they merge him properly and nearly cause an accident on the beltline in Eugene, it is effectively saying that you do not have properly trained drivers operating your vehicles.
That is the reason for this bad review. If you come back with a snarky response, I’m going to upload the dash cam footage from my vehicle to this review. Just accept it And move on. -
This is the second time in a few months that I have called Baxter to resolve problems we caused . In both instances they were on time, extremely professional and completed the job perfectly . Special attention was paid to keeping things clean and sanitized.
I highly recommend Baxter for any plumbing needs. Tank You

Paul listened to our concerns and ideas very patiently. He then provided his expertise on what would be the best solution. He is always friendly. We've never had to have Baxter Plumbing come back to fix a problem.

Baxter Plumbing reached out to through another plumber who had called them and explained my ordeal. They were right on top of it.
I explained my sewer problem and had someone there in about 15 minutes. Great Job Done!!!! -
I had them come out to diagnose and repair a leak from our upstairs bathtub. One of the plumbers was very snappy and difficult to communicate with. They cut a hole in my ceiling and charged me $200 and left me with no answers and a big hole to repair. I ended up having a contractor friend come and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue. I called and spoke with Tracy the owner about my negative experience and was met with an argumentative response from her. I hate leaving bad reviews but I received very bad customer service. *Edit* I knew she would reply on here and further argue with me. Putting words in my mouth and discrediting my experience.

I started working with Baxter about five years ago at my residence and in my commercial kitchen about two years ago. Jack and James arrived just in the nick of time to save my bacon again today.
The professionals at Baxter offer ready solutions that are both wise and cost-effective. This team addresses issues without complaint and have never returned to correct their own work. They are a pleasure to work with, trustworthy and super efficient.
