I have been hiring this team regularly for many years. Their work has always been impeccable, and communication for scheduling, etc is always clear and easy.

I don’t like doing this, however I have to give a detailed and not at all positive review here.
I recently bought a new-to-me house, and hired Maid Brigade to do a one-time cleaning before I moved in. I took possession of the house just the evening before the cleaning was scheduled and had a chance to look inside. The previous owner had left the place virtually spotless, MUCH cleaner than I had expected. However, it can’t be TOO clean, right?
Maid Brigade proceeded to “do their thing” the next day, and I moved in just a few days later. I got an invoice immediately after the cleaning was done, and I was surprised to see that the invoice was $125 MORE than the minimum amount in the quote, when the house appeared to be NO CLEANER than it was after the seller moved out.
Now, after living in the house for 3 days, I’ve noticed blatant cobwebs on the blinds, handprints on the windows and bathroom mirror, and every time I sweep the kitchen floor I’m picking up shards of broken glass from a shelf in the refrigerator that was lost when the sellers moved out.
I’m wondering if Maid Brigade did anything at all inside, let alone whether or not they did enough to warrant charging me more than the minimum I was quoted. COMPLETE waste of money, but I guess I’ll live and learn.

I cannot recommend enough Maid Brigade for your house cleaning. They have been with me for a couple years now and I’ve just been amazing work.

The team shows up when expected and cleans as expected! They have become like family, even attempting to teach my dog and I some Spanish. Alas, my dog seems to be learning more! I always find that they have cleaned beyond my expectation!

We have been having Maid Brigade come help keep us tidy for a few years, and they have always been nothing short of great. Always doing a thorough job. Would wholeheartedly recommend them.

For context: 2 full-time working parents, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 4 different team sports, and some neurodiversity, in an inner Portland older house with 3 toilets to scrub. And a partridge in a pear tree.

We have been with Maid Brigade since 2019 (maybe longer!). The team that comes now is the same every time and they are consistently excellent. They know our patterns well enough to know if we forgot to do something like set out new bedsheets and so can follow up. Luis is gregarious and proactive, checking when he can to know if our needs are different any week, and Mercedes and Juana will only discreetly check on additional tasks if they are sure I am not busy, on the occasions I am also working from home—they are very careful not to disturb if I seem at all occupied. When I am working from home when the team has come, it has never been a problem. And they always quietly wish us well on their way out.

The baseline cleaning: bathrooms are scrubbed, mopped, counters and mirrors; kitchen counters, sinks, stovetop; bedrooms vaccuumed and a light tidy but not embarrassingly so (if I left shoes out, they are neatly aligned; but laundry is not folded or moved). Rest of the house, vacuum and mopping. My favorite add/on is the per-bed fee to strip the beds and change the sheets (GAME CHANGER and so worth it); the monthly “extra” that MB offers is also a nice option for those once-a-year tasks. New features are automatic texts the day before letting us know what time window to expect the team the next day… but the office staff has always been thoughtful and expeditious with their communication regardless. On the few occasions we have had to reschedule, they have worked with us to find the best solution.

As a parent who works outside the home (and as my job has gotten more demanding), our MB team is sanity saving and worth every penny. Having a MB support crew doesn’t replace everything, like, my kids still contribute and we all do chores around the house—it just means I don’t have to sacrifice time with them to do *everything* else. Best of all, my home is clean and smells nice, my bathrooms get mopped and toilets get scrubbed, and I have a crisply made fresh bed waiting for me every other week.

Love the team at Maid Brigade. The staff is so friendly and communicative. I feel very supported by Sarah and the office team. Respond quickly and work with you on what you need.
