We had 3 Large Alders cut down on our property. There was a ton of very large rounds. I called NW Wood Splitters on a Tues they came out on Thursday. Very quick. They were here from 8am (right on time) to Noon and split and stacked all of it. I'm guessing about 30+ rounds. They worked like crazy, non-stop the entire time. Afterward cleaned everything up as well. They were very friendly, forthcoming and answered any questions we had. We now have a mountain of neatly stacked wood. I would highly recommend them!!

Northwest Wood Splitters helped me fully prepare for winter, fast and efficiently! The guys came to Vancouver, WA, and were here promptly at 0800 as promised to help with some logs we had in a pile needing split. In 2 hours, they prepped, lined up, and then split a chord and a half of firewood - then nicely stacked it on my rack! Their reasonable rates were less than removal of the wood or renting a splitter of my own. I'm very pleased with the outcome and recommend them highly!

Scott and his team cut up a very huge downed tree for us. He is very kind, honest, and fast. He made sure it was all the right size for our fireplace and even cut some rounds and nice pieces for me to make things out of! I can’t say enough good things about this company. I will call them again next time and recommend them to everyone I know!

They were great! We had a very large tree that had come down last year and we needed the wood chopped up. They were great communicators and were able to fit us in quickly to the schedule. They were punctual and had an accurate quote. You can tell they know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

These guys are great, I had a tree fall across a neighbors yard and they worked with both of us to get the tree removed without me needing to do anything. They priced the job the next day and had it all done within three days even with the difficult circumstances with the giant snowstorm that just happened this year (2024). Would definitely use them again, they are awesome!!

I was very satisfied with every part of the job that Scot McMullan and his son offered to me with cutting up my 120 ft. Fir tree that I had to take down with the snow storm. He was able to come out in less than one week and cut up many 4-5 ft. rounds that the tree cutters had lowered to the ground. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. There was an enormous amount of wood, but he made light of it with his knowledge, skills and strength. His wood splitting machine is fascinating to watch and he even took the time to explain the parts and how it worked. I will use his services in the future when needed and highly recommend his company to all who need two splitting.

Had a fabulous experience hiring Scott and his son to split several trees. Communication was excellent and they were actually able to come a few days early. Smart, conscientious, efficient, and talented- very pleasant to work with- and they built a beautiful stack of wood for me. Their equipment is superb, too. Hire them! We had a huge downed tree that was cut into rounds waiting for me to split it. Waiting...and waiting... and waiting. After 3 years of this, we decided to call this company. They responded to my inquiry quickly and were at our house working within a few days. Scott and Ryan are a great father-son team that really know what they're doing and move fast. They had the whole thing done in one day. It was a huge job. They moved the huge rounds, split, them, stacked them, and did a great job cleaning up. Our yard looked 100% better when they left. If I ever need any tree work done again, they'll be the first people I call.

Scott is incredible to work with. We had an urgent problem that needed addressing and Scott was extremely kind and thoughtful in talking through our options and what a solution could be. Plus, he was willing to jump on the task to get it done in record time.

While we ultimately went with a different solution and didn't use Scott's services, I can tell this is a great company with a strong commitment to helping people out. Thank you, Scott!

Scott and his son came to split many large rounds from the trunk of an old Douglas Fir tree, as well as logs remaining from the ice storm we had a couple of years ago. They were on time (a few minutes early, actually!), extremely efficient, and hard-working the entire five hours they were here. On top of that, they were very pleasant, helpful, and flexible. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs wood split or any of the other services they provide!

What a great group of people! They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left my place cleaner than when they arrived. Scott also stabilized the hand rail to the stairs up to my place just because he couldn’t pass up a chance to make an improvement! The downed alder is now stacked attractively in my yard, waiting for winter.

Northwest tree splitters did SUCH a great job helping us out after these recent storms. We had several large fir trees come down that were split into log grounds by an arborist, but absolutely covered our entire property. We had challenging access issues to our backyard, and their team was so helpful and hard-working. It was a giant job, but they did great work!
