Scott and Ryan did a great job splitting wood of a dogwood we had to cut down. They are pleasant, fast, efficient, on time, cleaned up well afterward and made sure we were happy with their service, which we were! All around satisfactory and I would recommend them if you need some wood split!

Amazing wood splitting service by NW Wood Splitters llc..

I had been trying to find a proper wood splitting service in SE Portland but no luck.. one tree service company quoted me 500 dollars which was totally out of my budget. I contacted Scott at NW Wood Splitters and asked if they would cover the SE Portland area.. they said yes and we agreed on the day, time, and rate.

The team got to the location on time and said it would take an hour to finish the work. They were very kind and understanding. In one hour they split all the wood, set the pieces aside and cleaned the area. This all cost 190 dollars!!!

I don't recommend services very often but today I am making an exception.

Scott and Ryan, plus their amazing team of strong guys, did a fantastic job of splitting and stacking a HUGE amount of wood. Starting with a tree falling on our house during the January storms, then the aftermath of several trees removed to prevent them falling, we had a lot of tree rounds to deal with. Scott checked in frequently to make sure they were doing what we wanted, stacking where we wanted. Very happy with their work!

Scott was incredible! They got us on the schedule immediately with almost no wait, gave a very clear quote with an option to have a guaranteed flat rate, pivoted mid-project when I had a special request, perfectly stacked the wood (it’s so secure!), and left everything neat as a pin. On top of all this, Scott exudes kindness. He was a delight to communicate with at every step, and we will recommend him to everyone we know! This is the sweetest company. Highly recommend!!

Scott and his crew arrived on time and even though they had to work through a rainstorm were fast and efficient. They took care of my tree rounds and put them where I asked. Plus came in under budget! I’m looking forward to using all that firewood. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

Scott McMullin and his team did a fantastic job splitting the wood on our 100-year old maple, that had to be taken down. They did a beautiful job cutting it down to firewood size. Along with that, we asked for a few pieces to be custom cut for yard art and they delivered! Really happy with the work they did!

These are the guys you’re looking for! Professional, tidy, and work quickly. For the time I would have needed to rent a splitter myself, ended up spending not much more for NW Wood Splitters help on the job.

Northwest Wood Splitters has the expertise and equipment to do the difficult job of splitting tree sections into firelogs. They work hard, efficiently, and can produce multiple logs at the same time, using equipment too sophisticated to rent. They turn a homeowner’s job that can take days into hours, and at a reasonable rate. The fact that they are the rare company doing this work in the Portland area does not make them unfair. They are, in fact, considerate, polite and extremely reliable. A pleasure to work with.

We recently had a downed tree from a winter storm . The team at NW Wood Splitters responded as soon as I called and we were scheduled within days . They split and stacked our wood beautifully. I would highly recommend them. They were done in a few hours in what would have taken me days if not weeks to do myself.

Scott did a fine job splitting wood today. He had a great piece of machinery that made the work go fast.

I called Northwest Wood Splitters to split up cut rounds, from a tree that fell during the January storm. They scheduled the job within a few days, and had all of the wood split and stacked in less than 2 hrs. Very friendly, hard working team. I highly recommend them.

Quick and easy to set up appointment, came when the said they would, and made quick work of 1.5 cords of wood. Very professional and friendly as well.

Had to have trees cut and rented a splitter several times. Was way too big of a job for us. They arrived ahead of schedule to get set up which I appreciate. They worked consistently and quickly, did a wonderful job. We highly recommend this company.

We felled a large tree that produced more rounds than this tired body could get through. The remaining rounds sat there for a minute and finally called in the pros. Scott and his boys came through with the wood splitter…and made quick work of it. Produced a split cord of wood in less than two hours.

Scott and Ryan were awesome. They did a great job moving, splitting, and stacking the tree that fell on my house. First they had to move all the rounds to the front of the house, then split them, and then move the wood back to the back yard and stack it. They did all that in less than four hours.
