We used true green lawn care for about 8 months. It was truly a disappointment. Each time they came out they were here about 5 to 10 minutes. Sprayed our yard and left feedback on why our yard wasn't thriving. Even blamed it on dog urine and theres not a dog that lives near us or is ever in our yard. We spent somewhere around $1000 to have the worst looking yard in the neighborhood. I wanted to leave their little true green flag out to warn people not to use this service. After this experience we tore out all our patchy, brown grass and put down rocks. They will promise you the moon and do nothing but rip you off

My grass is better than my neighbors and that makes me feel good and my neighbor has a landscaper and my lawn is still better

Have requested Nutsedge control in my lawn for 6 weeks. Trugreen has come out 4 times and spread broadleaf control. Broadleaf control does not kill Nutsedge!
After making another complaint call to their service center two days ago, (you can't reach your local Trugreen office; everything goes thru the service center which is pretty much worthless), I was told a local technician would contact us within two days. Finally a service tech showed up with product to treat the Nutsedge today. This company has actually reduced me to tears with frustration.

Communicate well and service techs very polite, knowledgable. My lawn looked so much better after the first application, so the lime application, etc.today with aeration soon will help.

Renae is such a nice man taking the time to talk to my husband how to fill in our bare spots.

I appreciated Jasmine checking in prior to starting treatment. She was pleasant and asked if the back yard was accessible. I was glad to have lime placed today.

Terrible customer service and a worthless guarantee policy. They “guarantee” your satisfaction but when you complain about the color of your lawn and numerous weeds despite treatment the branch never responds. If you want a lawn that looks lush, green and weed free like their website claims go elsewhere. This company does not provide the service they claim to.

Since using TureGreen Lawn Care service, my plants and shrubs stay healthy and do not show the tell tale signs of being infested with mites/other insects or disease. I appreciate the recommendations they give to help improve the health of my trees and shrubs.

It has been discussed but not reported with photos (until now) of the grass seed that was thrown beyond the lawn into the flower beds. These photos are examples of how full of grass the edges of our flowerbeds looked until I pulled the grasses out. The single plant photo is the type of grass that was growing from the seed. It's excellent grass seed BUT NOT in the flower beds please!

Today Evan was very concerned about the grass seeded into our flower beds as it was noted on the report he had for us today.
I appreciated his concern. He did a good job today & has when he was here before.

We've noticed LESS crab grass & our kawn looks the best it has looked in years. Thank you.

My yard is still a work in progress. Things are going in the right direction. I will reserve my jumping up and down and throwing a party as we get closer to next summer. I want to make sure they have taken care of all the issues and the lawn is completely brought back to life.

Paid for a service that we have seen no benefits from! Notified true green that I now have burned section in my lawn and my lawn is full of weeds! They scheduled a trip out to investigate and the employee did nothing (my son was home and watched him.) The employee noted during that visit that he shut our side gate upon leaving and put no product down to remedy my valid complaints. Why am I paying top dollar for a service that has encouraged and added new weeds through out my lawn and also created a noticeable burned sections from being fertilized? I have reached out many times to get this resolved and finally cancelled since they have been ‘all talk and no action!’I’ve used you years ago and was expecting a fertilized lawn with no weeds and burned sections.

True green has reached out MULTIPLE times to apologize but there has been no effort to fix the damage or removal of weeds. I’ve since cancelled services, and they keep calling and are sending me to collection for $500 for irrigation of the lawn. I finally told them to offer me a refund for lack of service and for their lies since there is no plan to fix the damage done to my yard/ grass. I gave them permission to send me to collection as I will not be giving them a dime more and now have to fix the damage their incompetent company has done. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! I paid for about 5 months of service. DISASTER!

Terrible customer service. Don't fulfil their promises. I had to go back after their treatments and apply my own treatments to pick up spots that they missed. The lawn looked good for a couple months then started turning yellow in many spots. After they did the aeration and reseeding, my lawn had many bare patches where the aerator made the holes. They guarantee a nice lawn but when they didn't meet their promise on my lawn, they refused to give me a refund or fix it. I told them to stop all services until we could figure out what was going on with my lawn, but they still sent people out and charged me for services that I didn't want. I'm not happy with this experience and wouldn't recommend anyone to go with them because it's a waste of money.

Terrible service that doesn’t live up to their promises. Paid for a year of their top tier “Tru Pro” service, expecting some care and attention to the needs of my lawn. Instead, at each visit they spent no more than 3-5 minutes rushing around spreading fertilizer or weed and feed with a drop spreader. At no point did they assess my soil condition, . At each visit they noted on the invoice that they “noticed moss and broadleaf, which should start to clear up in 7-21 days” but they never did. They also overcharged me for a 1200 sq ft lawn when my lawn is only 600 sq ft, which means they’re also lying about how much fertilizer they’re applying at each treatment. In two of the early services they even mentioned that they “do not recommend overseeding to fill bare spots until late fall” but then proceeded to do my overseeding service in June, in which the tech grabbed a couple handfuls of seed and threw them randomly across 2 areas of my lawn.

They also rushed the service intervals, and when they do come out they don’t give adequate notice to make sure the yard is ready for them. Most of the pre-service notifications come the evening before, after dark, mid-week, so there’s no chance to get out and rake leaves or make sure the lawn is trimmed before they arrive.

My first service was at the end of March. The service interval was supposed to be every 6-8 weeks for 9 regular service visits plus 1 overseeding service plus 1 aeration service plus 1 line soil enhancement to be completed in 12 months. Instead, the first 4 visits were 4 weeks apart, the next 2 were 6 weeks apart, and the last 3 were 2 weeks apart, and all were completed before Thanksgiving.

All in all, the only improvement to my lawn is it’s a little darker green. But still just as full of moss and weeds as when they started. This company does not provide a service, they’re a cash grab. They don’t provide any maintenance, just fertilization, so you still have to do 100% of the maintenance. For the almost $1k I spent for 8 months, I could have paid a landscaper or gardener just a little more to handle everything and actually improved my yard.

My lawn was very sick and full of dandelions as a mist full of dandelion seed had flown into our neighborhood a few years ago. Plus, the lack of water and over weed prevention at the time when I could no longer care for my yard on my own. I needed help and I didn't know where to look for help. I jumped into my lap top and researched the web. It didn't take long to find "True Green". I called and explained the situation to them, and we came up with a game plan to get the lawn back into shape. It's not perfect yet, but it is by far better than I had hoped and certainly better than I could do on my own. Thank you, for helping me rid the dandelions', and are beginning to give me a lawn that I dream about. Curt F

We’ve used TruGreen to treat our yard for over twenty years. They have given consistently excellent service and our yard is healthy and beautiful.

These guys know what they're doing. They removed some stumps, pruned several trees, transplanted a few trees and did a whiz-bang job-- including cleanup.

SavATree was hired as a contractor under PGE to remove a hundred or so trees on a property owned by a federal power station I work at. PGE was installing a new transmission line at my station.

I met the foreman onsite and had great communication throughout the project. They did exactly what they were asked to do and out of 100+ trees felled - only one went the wrong way. A substation perimeter fence was accidentally damaged. SavATree sent one of their fencing subcontractors out the next day and the fence was repaired better than original.

Absolutely a stand-up A+ company to work with and great communication throughout. The cleanup was MUCH better than expected. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they couldn't be bothered to show up on time. Not worth my time or my business.

I have used SavATree several times. They are great - efficient and clean up afterwards. I am extremely satisfied with their work and recommend them very highly.
