We were so impressed with the crew and their work. They did a beautiful job pruning the trees along our fence line and left the yard much cleaner than when they arrived. Plus, they moved a heavy table we couldn’t move on our own out of the cut zone and retrieved numerous balls (and a hula hoop!) from the top of a nearby gazebo… our kids were so happy to have them back!

Everyone we spoke to/ worked with was professional and very friend, quick scheduling and a very fair price. 10/10- highly recommend.

I definitely picked the best tree service to trim our street trees this year. A crew a of five showed up and did a stellar job on my two trees in a little over an hour. The entire crew was professional and courteous. I will definitely use Monkey Man again.

So thankful for Brooks and his team that took care of our little forest. We have 4 100-foot+ Douglas firs, some western red cedar, a couple of spruce trees and one tired, old Mimosa (Persian Silk). They removed dozens of dangerous, hanging branches left over from years of storms, trimmed back excessively long or overloaded branches and educated my wife and I about monitoring and caring for our beautiful trees. Sadly, we will have to remove our Persian Silk as she is old and suffering from rot and mushrooms, but the whole team gave us great recommendations on what we might put in her place. They were professional, efficient, fun to learn from and most of all, they cared about our property and our home. Well done Monkeyman "Tree Geeks" - we appreciate all you did.

Communication is the key! This company has that down. From the moment I requested a quote to the day of service. Katie in the office was friendly and super helpful, David who did our quote was prompt, knowledgeable and a great communicator. The day of the project the Crew 1 notified me when they were on their way, went over the proposal before they began, brought me out half way to make sure it all looked good, asked questions and when the work was completed had me do another check. They cleaned up and were always respectful, so totally appreciated.

We had several trees pruned, crowns reduced, and dead branches removed. The crew was knowledgeable and on time. They did quick work and even offered advice on some items I was taking care of. I was also alerted to a concern regarding a neighbor street and passed along the recommendation to my neighbors. This was my second experience with Monkeyman’s and it was very positive. I will definitely call them again for future needs.

Great experience. From the beginning with coming out your home - giving us a realistic scope and cost- thereafter schdueling confirmed via email and text. To letting you know they crew was on its way and would arrive in 15 to 30 mins. Very impressed with the communication - super professional - above anything I have experienced in the service and trade business. But MOST important the crew did an excellent job - when they ran into any issues during the job - they communicated with me and my wife - and let us know any impacts and adjusted per our priorites and guidance. Super nice crew. Would highly recommend Monkeyman’s Tree service - will certainly tell my friend ! Last but not least we feel that we can see the sky (looks so much better) and that the tree are much less of a threat coming the next ice storm. Had enough friends sharing stories over the last few years about homes being damaged by their or their neighbors trees! We might be without power again this winter but we will hopefully have our roof intact! Again thank you to the entire monkeyman’s crew!

Everyone at Monkeymans was great. David provided good council when he came by for the estimate. Banks and his crew were swift and thorough with the work. Katie and Kendra were communicative via email and text with details and scheduling. Good company that we’ll use again!

Monkeyman always does great work! They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. All of the requests I needed for our trees were completed as asked, checked in throughout the process to make sure it was looking correct to my expectations, and all done in a timely manner. Will always hire again.

Randomly picked this company off of Google and suffice to say I picked a darn good one. From front desk young lady (I forgot to ask her name), to David who came out to give the estimate, to Nelson and his fun crew, to the gentleman who ultimately ground down the stumps, I couldn’t be happier with the communication, the turnaround speed from call to quote to service. Yall are phenomenal and exceed expectations when it comes to customer service. Way to go!

This was our second experience with Monkeyman, and both have been excellent. Brand and his crew knocked out a long list of pruning tasks to reduce risk of wind damage, protect our house and shop, maintain views, and improve fruit production in one day. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and professionally through the day, were pleasant and interesting to deal with, and finished on time. Will continue to work with them happily.

Very Happy with the service I received. The arborvitae are trimmed nicely and the overhanging cedar tree branches were removed. I was impressed by the excellent job of cleanup. Everything looked great when they were done. The crew was courteous, on time and on budget. I will use this company again in the future.

Monkeyman completed a big project on our Sunny Grove condominium grounds this week. They were very responsive and clear with us on the permitting process for have dead trees removed and on who to get in touch with at the city. They were very thorough about completing the work, with great competency and professionalism, that we had agreed on. They were friendly and easy to work with... the best we've worked with in my 8 years at this site!

We had a medium size tree removed and the job went exactly as planned. They were very easy to work with. Showed up on time. Very good communication regarding scope, cost, scheduling, etc. Had a lower minimum than other companies. Would definitely use them again

Marcus and crew did a great job. I appreciate the ccareful clean up of all branches, even small ones. The stump grinding the next day(1/16) was also done really well and thank you for the friendly service.

Miguel, the owner, responded immediately when I called & came over the next day to remove an enormous Royal Palm & an Alexander Palm. He was meticulous…. there was no damage to the pool deck or to the hedge & shrubbery below, or to the landscape lighting & sprinkler!!!!! The clean up after was outstanding, minimal evidence that a tree had been removed!!! Miguel & his team do excellent work!! He has pruned trees in the past for me & is always consistently delivering great service.

I'd never heard of this company before until one day I was driving along Highway 212 in Clackamas and saw their van. The driver was driving within the speed limit, and driving respectfully and carefully, and based on that I decided to check them out. All the web reviews were terrific, so I gave them a call. We needed to have several trees felled to avoid them falling on our house.

The office staff was friendly and helpful, and I scheduled an estimate. Matt came out shortly thereafter; he was friendly and very knowledgeable, and based on his suggestions of what needed to be done, we hired him on the spot. I really appreciated all the text/email updates that we received from the office.

Maui (loved that we have Hawai'i roots in common!), and his crew came out within a couple of weeks (we hadn't been in a hurry), and did a fantastic job for us. They were friendly (I only got Nelson's name...he was great!) and worked hard all day long. In all, seven trees had to come down, and the guys did a terrific job of stacking the wood for us and cleaning up afterwards. They appreciated the brownies I made for them, too. Brownie breaks are always a good thing :-) ! There was a lot of equipment up here during the day, and the crew was respectful of our property with all of it.

From my first call to when the truck and equipment left, everyone from this company gave us exceptional service. Before they left, Maui made sure that we were happy with the work that he and his crew had done. I wish I could give more than five stars; in my mind, this is a fifty-star company. The entire process of working with Monkeyman's Tree Service was very easy. They did a great job pruning a tree and some shrubs in our yard. We were very happy with the overall service and the work they did.

We needed to have a Japanese Maple pruned and a large cherry tree removed. We got 3 estimates and went with Monkeyman’s. The crew left a couple of hours ago and we could not be happier with the job they did.

They showed up within their arrival window and were gone in less than 3 hours. They were extremely quiet for a crew using chainsaws and other equipment.

I have never seen such a thorough clean up job. It’s like they were never in our backyard or had a wood chipper in the street.

We will definitely use them again.
