Bryce and his team are literally the best. They are quick and clean up so well behind them. They have great availability, are so kind, affordable and trustworthy. I have recommended them to everyone I know.

Bryce has grounds stumps down at my old house and then at my new house. He is easy to work with and does a great job. I definitely plan to call him again when the need arises.

I couldn’t be happier with Brice’s work! He was well educated, had the best equipment, and was all about safety and clean worksite. I was tempted to rent a machine from depot myself. After seeing what he did, and how far down he dug, there’s absolutely no way the rental machine would’ve done that, it also would’ve taken me days to do what he did in an hour. He has the big guns!!!!

89 feet of 30 year old hedge stumps! Very Good Stump Grinding took a couple of hours to grind them to almost nothing! Incredibly reasonable price, very quick scheduling of job, cleaned up after!

We lost three conifers in the ice storm and winds of January 2024 leaving three large stumps, two of which uprooted. Bryce and his associate brought two sizes of grinders to the job, one for the largest stumps and another for tight spots to reduce the stumps to earth and chips. We now have blueberries and other plants thriving in that area.

I called Very Good Stump Grinding for a stump removal quote and that turned into a full tree removal and stump grind. I received 6 bids and these guys beat them all on the tree + stump removal cost. Great guys, great communication, and they did a great job cleaning up after the removal. Would use again and recommend without hesistation.

Very Good Stump grinding did a great job. They came within a few days of our call, texted before they arrived and made quick work of our three stumps. When we asked them to return due to a rock hard root that we found during cleanup, they came the same day and ground it at no additional charge. They were very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. We will definitely use them again!

We had numerous tree stumps left over after a portion of our tall laurel hedge toppled over. Bryce came over, sized up the need, and efficiently completed the job, despite its difficult location right next to a fence. Very satisfied with his work!

They did a fabulous job, I had a massive tree out front of the house that was splattering sap over the cars and after we got that cut down they came in and grinded that bad boy down and you can’t tell there was a massive tree there.

Bryce is GREAT to work with. We had several stumps to grind of various sizes and tree species. We even had a huge maple stump that had been started and abandoned by a different stump grinder (too small of grinder for such a big stump).
Bryce was considerate and patient with my numerous questions as well as conscientious of our surrounding plants, landscape and buildings.

Bryce and Jack were great to work with. They were very responsive over email, text, and phone. I had a tricky stump removal situation where I just wanted to pay a pro to do the best they could, not expecting perfection given the location...and do it for a reasonable price. They did just that. Very friendly and courteous on location, cleaned up afterwards. Definitely recommend reaching out to them!

Very Good Stump Grinding just took out three very large stumps including a blowdown root wad at my house in the NW Portland area. They were quick courteous and very professional. I thought the price was very reasonable and would recommend them to anyone looking for tree or stump work. Great job!

He did a great job and made sure that everything was done to my expectations. Although not his fault at all as he had called to have gas, electric and water lines checked and the main water line was not marked correctly by the city. He called a plumber friend immediately on a weekend and paid for the repair. Since the pipe was right next to the sidewalk it took awhile since his friend didn’t want to break an old line underneath the sidewalk it took a long time to fix and Bryce wouldn’t leave until it had been fixed which went into the late evening. I was blown away, it’s not often that you have someone who has the integrity standing behind his company going above and beyond helping me fix it. I would call him in a heartbeat for any other problem I needed help with. I would also hire his plumber friend who did a fantastic job if he was available if I needed any plumbing work done.
