Constraction reviews in McMinnville, Oregon

The company gave me a good estimate for putting a metal roof on a low slope roof on my house. They worked with me on what I needed and did a good job. I recommend the company.

After 20 years we need a new roof. We obtained 4 bids and selected Optimus Roofing. They are a preferred contractor for Owens Corning Duration roofing - the highest rated product by Consumer Report. The crew is well trained and professional. They replaced our roof, improved the ventilation, new soffits and gutters all in a week. EZ to work with, best
value, excellent warranty. I'm a retired custom home builder.

Got a dying or dead roof? Mine was beyond all that. I called Optimus and Arnie came on a Sunday no less to see what my roof needed. He had his crew on my roof that week. These guys get it done. The quality of the materials and workmanship were beyond what I was expecting. The price was the most pleasant surprise we got from our deal with Optimus. GO AHEAD get some other bids if you dare, then call Arnie. You will be amazed to learn what Arnie can do your job for. I'm going to have him do my siding job in the spring.

We chose Optimus to roof my parents property because they were the best price (we got 3 quotes) & had great reviews - we were not disappointed. They were quick, did a great job and left the property clean. We highly recommend Optimus and will use them again.

They did roof and gutters and replaced facia. Did a beautiful job. Very nice people. Arnie suggested improvements over our current roof which I am glad I accepted. Used quality materials. The roof was done in the middle of the winter 2018/19 and they worked around the rain. They re- nailed the existing sheeting and even added vents without my even asking. This guy wants to do quality work. They were out here in a few weeks, were done in a few days. The price was very reasonable. He was easily reachable by phone. I could not be happier with the job. He is a man of his word. He is local with many years of experience and the crew enjoys what they are doing. This recommendation is voluntary and I have no affiliation.

Very pleased with the work Optimus did replacing my roof. They worked fast and were very professional. Great value for the quality of work they provided. You can tell that they put the time and effort to do the job the right way.

Optimus Construction has worked on six buildings for us doing both roofing and siding replacements. Every one of the jobs had unique challenges. The owner and crews stayed on the job and worked through the issues. Bottom line is that pricing was fair and the work was excellent. I would highly recommend Optimus Construction.

We talked with several contractors and spent a long time evaluating the options offered, and the quality they promised. We checked references, found Optimus bonded, insured, and highly rated, so went with them for a pretty extensive roofing job. Arnulfo Martinez is the owner. He has years of experience with one of the larger companies, now owns his own company, and really knows his stuff. He made a positive impression the minute we met him, and the last thing he said when the job was complete was, "if you find any trash on the ground, call me and I'll come clean it up personally." That is professionalism. The workmanship is great, the workers were respectful, clean, and anxious to do whatever it took to make our job perfect. Their price was half of one of the biggest firms for way beyond what the other company offered us. I wouldn’t hesitate for half a second to recommend this company.

I highly recommend Optimus Construction. They did WHAT they proposed, WHEN they said they would, and for a price that saved me thousands compared to that of my general contractor, who I bypassed for the roofing. The work was done a week ahead of schedule. Appearance is great. Helped the house sell quickly and above asking. I would use them whenever I had reroofing to be done, and would trust them to do the work properly. Honest, reliable, efficient and economical.

Great quality work, good communication (which was necessary thanks to Mother Nature delaying the job with snow in March), definitely would recommend these guys! We used them to put a new roof on our house before we put it on the market (late winter 2019). It looked SO MUCH better with that new roof! Also the price was incredibly fair, we had gotten other quotes that were substantially higher. While we don’t generally go with the cheapest option, Optimus also came highly recommended by a friend/contractor who we trust. We are very happy with their work and glad we went with them! Our house sold within 2 days of being on the market, and I am sure the beautiful new roof (and gutters) helped make a great first impression on the couple who fell in love with it. Thanks you guys!!

We were very pleased with Optimus Roofing. They were very professional and did a great job. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to start the job sooner than expected. They also did a great job cleaning up after the job was done and I am picky about that. Lol. Our new roof makes a world of difference. We would recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

We have used Optimus construction for an old barn roof restoration and also for our office building roof. A Very great experience. The bids were very reasonable. The workers showed up as scheduled and the clean up after the construction was done was also very good. I would recommend Optimus construction for any of your construction/roofing needs. They do a great job.

We used Optimus Construction for re-roofing, new gutters and skylight installation. From the beginning, in the bid process, Arnufel was very clear and helpful offering us many options. His bid was competitive and we had neighbors with great looking roofs recommending him so we went with Optimus. The wait time was less than we expected and once the work began it went very quickly. They have a tireless crew that was able to overcome any issues that my unusual house with some rot issues presented. For the most part the job was done in three days and each evening the site was clean and tidy.
The final project came out looking great and after seeing the new roof and gutters in action with our first rain last weekend I feel confident going into the rainy season. We are very satisfied with the work and will use Optimus in the spring to roof our garage as well.

Really impressed with these guys and their dedication to the job, from Arnie estimating, to the office staff that maintains great communication, to the installers. We’ve used them for two roofs and this week they redid our gutters and dug drainage trenches in a howling wind and rain storm. Highly recommended.

We are super happy that we went with Optimus, our local roofers, for our roof job! Arnie is very kind, honest, reliable, and communicated so well with me for the duration of the project. The quality of the roof job they did is really wonderful---beautiful work with the shingles, details were paid attention to, and the overall instillation is even, balanced, and I feel certain that is functional and we will have no problems with leaks! Looking forward to enjoying the quality of the work for years to come. Thank you Arnie and crew for a great job!

After moving into this home 2 years ago, we have noticed some neighbors replacing their roofs. Arnie came over and gave us his opinion of the roof life. Arnie stated we could have another 4 years or so of usage on this roof. Some of our gutters were not working properly so Arnie gave us a quote. There was moss growing on the shingles, so Arnie sent over an employee who worked most of the day scrapping it all off. The gutters were installed. This professional company (with great communication) gave us total satisfaction. Overall Optimus prides themselves to be certain of their customer satisfaction.
Of course, we aren’t looking forward to replacing our roof although when it is time, Optimus Construction is who we will call. They are wonderful to work with. If any issue comes up, it is immediately solved & taken care of. Their priority is to get the project completed with courteous service & years of expertise along with commitment to what is needed accomplished in a timely manner. We will look forward to working with Arnie (Arnulfo), whenever we require services, he provides.

We started the project in mid-September. Complete reside of the existing plus a fresh coat of paint. The existing T1-11 was 25+ years old. Got the residing done in the fall but then the standard California mist (it missed Cal) set in for the winter. So, the siding was complete, and the house was weathertight. We decided to hold off on the paint until spring when it hopefully dried out a little and warmed up. Mid-April and things were looking good. The paint crew showed up on Saturday morning and pressure washed the house. We noticed a damaged barge rafter after the pressure wash and scrapping. Tuesday it was go for the gold. The carpenters were back to replace the barge rafter, the painters masked everything off and went to work. Base color was done on a long Tuesday. Wednesday they finished the trim and everything was complete. Everything cleaned up and ship shape. Arnulfo, Carlos, Saul, and the entire crew were great to work with. They answered every stupid question we had. They worked efficiently and quickly and did truly fine work. Our thanks to them, SALUD.
You deserve a Cerveza.

Excelllent workmanship plus reasonable prices. We have had numerous buildings, including a large barn, reroofed with metal.
Arnie (owner) is very accurate on measurements. He is responsive regarding questions about the process. His office manager is always friendly and also responsive to any issues we have .His roofing crew was incredibly neat, cleaning up all debris
and removing it. They put in 12 hour days, in the sun, and were always working. It was a pleasure to work with this company.

They did a great job on our house and shop. It looks new again. Pretty quick process and the guys were easy to work with. Roofing is a messy process but Optimus kept it a clean work site. I would easily recommend them.

Called Optimus for a second opinion for a leak in our roof. (I wish I remembered his name) I think he was their foreman came out the very next day. We showed him where the leak was occurring in our house and explained that the previous guy who came out (That is a whole different story) told us that everything was damaged and the whole section of our roof was dead and needed to be replaced for a whopping 10k.

He hopped on the roof and did his inspections and assured us that almost none of that was true, Our Chimney flashing wasnt seal or properly nailed down. He assured me that the roof had many years of life left and that he see's this issue all the time. He quoted us a fair reasonable price and said he could take care of it on the spot if we wanted.

He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Once done he showed us before and after pictures, explained what he did and even let us know a good price range for our size roof if we wanted to pay some one to get it cleaned/moss removal while also assuring us that it was simple enough to do ourselves if we felt up to it.

Im glad my roof is not leaking right before winter, I am super glad I didnt spend 10k for no reason. We will be calling them again if anything roofing pops up in the future.

Arnulfo and his crew from Optimus Construction were outstanding. They removed my old LP siding and replaced it with Hardi Plank. The roof also needed replacement and they efficiently tore of the old roof and replaced it with new shingles. Some area of siding and roof underlayment was rotting and they replaced it at a fair price. Optimus had a hard working crew and professional service. Pricing was competitive including any last minute changes
