Reviews of local pros in Newport, Oregon

These guys are the best. They gave us an accurate bid, showed up when they said they would, found the products that we wanted and finished our major remodel on time. There were a couple of small issues that they quickly addressed and took care of. Highly recommend Jon and his crew.

Update: 08/2023
Needed a new garbage disposal. Got one from their store and got an install date. They came on time. Installed and checked out. Very courteous and through work. Disposal works great. Again, if you need plumbing work, Newport is our recommendation.

Needed new kitchen faucet installed. Bought a Moen we liked from them. Install was fast and excellent. Faucet works and looks great. Gave 4 stars for service. But the price they charge for hardware is high. Went back later to buy a couple of Kohler toilet flappers that only fit Kohler toilets and was charged $20 each. Since I needed them, bought, installed them and fit perfectly. Later found I could have paid as low as $9 each elsewhere. I can recommend their service and will use them again but buy the fixtures elsewhere to save some $.

We needed some work done to finish out bathroom remodel. Newport Plumbing was able to respond and get a guy out to us quickly. He was professional, polite, and did a great job!

Just want to thank you again for installing our new shower. It is even better than I'd anticipated, wish we'd done it sooner. Plumbers, installation crew, carpenters all did a wonderful job
And now I have an add-on: This Friday afternoon, our first really sunny weekend ahead, one of the plumbers took time to come to our house & fix a stubborn clogged toilet before he went home. I didn't get his name but we appreciate him enormously.

I was able to get my drain flipper thing and the plate that goes with it for my bathtub replaced with a new one. The person they sent me (I believe his name was John) was polite, quick and even taught me how the drain flipper thing works. He also gave me a discount! Him and the guy he was with were very professional and they showed up within the time they said they could show up! He also told me that they are very busy this time of year and have basically been since more people are home because of the pandemic.

Kudos to Newport Plumbing! After a challenging series of no-shows with a competitor, we contacted Scott at Newport Plumbing last Friday with our need for a new kitchen faucet. Scott scheduled us for Tuesday @ 9am, and John, a very skilled plumber, was promptly there and installed our faucet. SO thankful for both Scott & John's professionalism!! We will be contacting them again should the need arise.

Arrived within time window and achieved desired services quickly and courteously. Many thanks to John S. and Newport Plumbing for a good job well done! Would not hesitate to utilize services again!

If you own a business on the bayfront in Newport, don’t bother calling these plumbers. They won’t show up, claiming there is no parking on the bayfront, even though there is a wide open 60 minute loading zone that can be used.

Additionally, they won’t call to let you know that they aren’t going to show up, leaving you waiting past the timeframe you were given.

Loosing the chance to win over a business that would have supplied them with 30+ years of service calls, as well as personal service calls, is the reward for poor customer service.

Newport plumbing did a fantastic job. From Scott coordinating everything and working with our schedules and the bad weather. To John coming out and replacing a lot of old copper pipe that was leaking and installing some external shutoff valves. This new setup makes everything so much nicer. Great customer service from both of them. John was very professional and made sure we knew exactly what he did and how it will all flow. We highly recommend them.

Thank you to Newport Plumbing for another job well done at our home.

John S was our plumber this time, he did a fantastic job replacing our kitchen faucet with our new Moen fixture, a new drain set up in one of our bathrooms, plus replacing an outdoor hose bib for us.

John S was polite, worked very quickly, and left a clean jobsite.

We had not asked for the bathroom drain fix when requesting the appointment, but he said he could fix it quickly and had the parts on the truck with him!

We highly recommend Newport Plumbing in Newport, on the Oregon Coast.

We will use them next time we need them and recommend them to family, friends, and clients.

Technicians are rude and entitled. A couple of tech's servicing my neighbor ran over a set of cones I had out for a semi truck delivery at my place of work. When I confronted them he said it's a public street and he can park here if he wants. The neighbor intervened and had his repark across the street. Seemed ridiculous and rude. Beware

Jesse and Scott are spectacular! Jesse crawled under the house and replaced our leaking water pipe. He is respectful, kind, funny, hardworking and efficient. We feel terrible that we forgot to tip him! He was exceptional and we will remain loyal to Newport Plumbing because they never fail to treat us fairly and do a great job
