We had Exstream Landscaping renovate our entire backyard. It was a big project, we changed nearly every square inch within the property line, and we're very happy with how it came out. They graded our backyard, side-yards, added retaining walls, paver stairs and a large paver patio, built a patio cover, fences, gates, pathway lighting, drainage, and installed sod after modifying the sprinkler system. It looks fabulous and is a massive upgrade! Definitely a big return on investment and so much more enjoyable and useable. Just look at the before and after pictures!

The Owner and Operator, Pat, was really great to work with. He has a very "can do" attitude and is a stand-up guy when it comes to ensuring things get done right.

I had a general plan for the yard in mind. We had 3 people come and bid the project. First person said they didn't think it could be done and referred me to a landscape designer. That designer then wanted $6,000 just for a design! Too big of a chunk of our budget. Then Pat with Exstream showed up on a Saturday and was very open to listening to my idea. He could see the vision and was almost immediately on-board giving some suggestions on how to make it even better and what materials could be used, etc. He sent me a basic sketch within a few days and totally nailed what I had in mind. I transferred that sketch to some graph paper and added some details. He took a look at it, gave us a quote, and we scheduled the date.

His workers showed up on time every day and worked hard. It took longer than we thought it would, but we added and changed a few things as we went. I know that can be frustrating for a contractor, but Pat was accommodating. The foreman, Brandon, is an expert at hardscapes. He was really meticulous in planning for our new paver patio, and it came out great. A different guy that built the patio cover and the fences wasn't quite as meticulous, but when I mentioned some of the issues I saw with that part of the build, Pat wasn't defensive at all - he agreed - and they made it right.

Since the project was completed, we've had a couple of small issues like a gate starting to sag, and a couple lights going out. When you have a project this big with that many items, it's unavoidable. I reached out to Pat, he responded right away, and he sent Brandon out and got them fixed.

Really appreciate what they did for our yard and working with Exstream and Pat was a good experience. They transformed our entire yard! Definitely recommend them for your outdoor project.

For the past few months, I’ve loved looking out my window at the truly enchanting landscape Pat and his team (Miguel, Marcus, Matthew, Nolan, and Brandon) created for me the past October. As a retired landscape architect, I provided the concept and planting plans, but they enhanced my design with their installation expertise and numerous suggestions for improvements. It was an enjoyable collaboration.

Communication was excellent from the beginning through to the end with regular updates on expected progress. Everything went according to schedule, even when I added to the work with a design for my backyard and additional details in the front. The scope of work included (though this may not be a complete list):
• removing the lawn and a small tree,
• positioning 18 large black basalt boulders throughout the front yard
• installing a curved, metal-edged, compacted black gravel pathway from the street to the front door with flagstone paths leading to the driveway and side yard,
• creating a 7-step paver stairway with a low boulder retaining wall along the side of the house,
• installing a 5-zone drip irrigation system,
• installing low voltage lighting throughout the front yard,
• installing a gravel pathway with planting bed bump-outs running the length of the side yard and connecting to an existing deck,
• creating planting areas with metal edging in the backyard,
• planting numerous dwarf conifers, small trees, shrubs, perennials, and groundcovers,
• bark mulching all planting areas,
• and fabricating a charming birdbath and bird feeder from a forked tree branch.

This was all accomplished in less than a month and at a fair price. My friends and neighbors are all amazed at the transformation. Even strangers walking by when I’m outside have commented on what a beautiful landscape it is.

Exstream Landscaping has set the bar very high. I’m happy to recommend them without any reservations.

We’ve used Exstream Landscaping a few times now; new gorgeous covered decks and a new lawn. The work the team does is impeccable , thorough and reliable. We are so pleased with the work we’ve had done we won’t go to anyone else. Our older home has a lot more work needed and Exstream Landscaping is our go to team. If I could give Exstream Landscaping 100 stars I would! I am not one to write reviews, but Pat and Laura and their crew were incredible from start to finish. They were timely, flexible, patient, honest and their attention to detail was beyond measure. Not only that, they make you feel like you are genuinely important and their first priority, regardless of the size of the job. I cannot recommend them enough and cannot wait to call them when I am ready for our next project!

We moved in to our brand new house at the end of August and knew right away we had to do something about the grounds. The house is beautiful, but the existing landscaping really was nothing to look at, especially in comparison to our neighbor's amazing property. We asked around, and found LBD. Don is really fun to work with and I enjoy his personality. He's realistic and will gently guide you away from elaborate water features when he knows you have two kids, two businesses, a new house that's almost 3 times as large as your old one, and a crazy puppy dog to take care of. The work they do is excellent. His team arrived when expected, though we did have a long wait to get on their schedule (high demand for quality service!), they did the work quickly and with expertise. We only did one half of the property, as the rest is sort of hidden, but immediately decided we'd have them back for the rest. We're on the schedule now, and can't wait for our beautiful Landscaping by Don to be finished! (And neither can our neighbors!)

After my grounds keeper raised his rates Again I called around and found LBD. Nick was great. Fair prices but more that that I was looking for value. Would highly recommend. Best bang for the buck I have found. Lbd is clearly looking for long term relationships not a quick buck.
