I hired Pat to install some landscaping in my front and back yards, install a paver patio and walkway, replace a retaining wall, and rehab another retaining wall. The whole process was positive and hassle-free from bid to completion. Pat and his whole crew were pleasant and easy to work with. If there are any miscommunications he'll fix it. I don't know much about landscaping so I relied heavily on Pat's recommendations and I don't regret it. At first I wasn't sure about the color of the stone he selected for my retaining wall but he told me he chose it because it was going to match the other pavers after they faded from the sun and that's exactly what's happening. You can feel safe deferring to Pat's judgment -- he knows what he's doing. That said, he also respected my preferences and input.

As an aside -- this will only apply to a minority of people but it's worth mentioning for those it does. Managing contractors as a single woman is not my favorite thing. It can, at times, be quite stressful. Not so with Pat. He just talked to me like a regular human being and was never condescending or pushy or weird. I appreciated that.

The thing I love about working with Pat is when you call he answers right away and always shows up exactly when he is supposed to. He obviously takes great pride in his work and his creative ideas always wow my friends and family. I would not hesitate a second to recommend him.

Pat was great to work with. Anytime I had a question he was there the next day to answer it. His crew worked well together and even though our backyard was dug up for a whole summer we were very happy with the new patio, outdoor kitchen and sprinkler system. Thanks Pat & Crew

Pat Hardisty at Exstream Landscaping does excellent work at honest prices. I've used them over the past three years as I've phased in a fairly large hardscape in my garden. The workmanship is really amazing, the crew fun, polite and respectful. I'm a bit fussy about my garden and they worked very well with me and all my details. I'm also a garden design consultant and I've never shied away from recommending Exstream to all of my clients.

My review is a year overdue but better late than never. Pat helped us design and landscape/hardscape our small back yard in 2018. The paver patio came out perfect and Pat did a good job reading my mind with plant selection. Would recommend and definitely use again, if needed, in future!

We've used Pat & Exstream Landscaping for years for small and large jobs. They are problem-solvers and are able to not only fix a problem but add to the overall appearance of our yard. We've used them for building fences and resolving a drainage problem and it worked out so well that we started to use them to do hardscaping and overall landscaping of our yard. They're great for all types of projects.

We recently had our back yard landscaped by Pat and his crew. They installed sod with a sprinkler system, a paver patio extension and path, pergola, additional circular paver patio area, flagstone path and patio privacy planter. They landscaped a sloping portion of our yard with a gravel path, beautiful plants, boulders and bark. The work they did exceeded our expectations. Pat listened to our ideas, but used his creativity to design our yard perfectly. He was easy to work with and was pleasant, as were all of his crew members. Our back yard is now the yard of our dreams. We would highly recommend Pat for any landscaping needs.

Pat and his capable crew have completely transformed our yard. They built us a beautiful pergola with a copper curtain rod, and we loved it so much we had them back to fence our entire house! They whole team is hard working, creative, totally sweet people who work fast and leave a clean work site. We love everything Exstream Landscaping has done for us, and highly recommend!!!

Pat and Extreme Landscaping have been working with us for over ten years. In addition to normal activities like an annual clean-up, he has upgraded my sprinkler system, landscaped my front yard, installed an arbor in my back yard, and kept everything groomed and beautiful. We needed a backyard for our new house. Hardscape and softscape. When we first called, they were forthright to let us know they are were booked till mid-summer (we wanted spring). Let me tell you, it is so worth the wait.
Pat listened to our concerns and was not afraid to make suggestions and recommendations with mature sizes and maintenance of the flora in mind. His knowledge of materials and flora was fantastic. If he didn't know, he'd tell you and research. He was a partner in the whole process, not just a yes-man. He worked with our budget, developed a package for us that was totally phase-able and flexible.
His crew was fantastic! They worked hard with diligence and attention to details. Everyday, We knew exactly what they planned to do, what they did and what’s next. If they didn’t know the answer to any of our questions, Pat would come by or at least call to get any clarifications needed. Placement of every piece of hardscape and shrub was done with care and artistic eye.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice and the results.

Patrick is a great guy to work with. He listens very carefully and has great ideas of his own, but he follows your design lead and is careful to keep your wishes in mind. His estimates were accurate and he is a pleasure to work with. He keeps you informed of the project's status and progress. He stands behind his work: when I had him over for a new project, he noticed a crack that had formed in a wall he had built during a prior project, and he made it a point to fix that too. I have worked with Patrick multiple times over the years and would happily hire him again if I have another yard project.
